RUN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION! When my husband and I first visited this store several years ago, it was well staffed, professional and we had a great experience. Fast forward a few years and we now have a hot scary mess. As soon as you enter the business, you will encounter the receptionist desk which was vacant but really messy. If you are going to put that desk "front and center", you should keep it neat and clean as it is an obvious reflection of how you conduct business. My husband and I visited earlier today and there was no staff available to greet or serve customs. Even after loudly saying "HELLO, IS ANYONE WORKING TODAY?", there was no response. Nothing, we walk around and enter a back room which also houses a showroom and we see a customer sitting alone at a table. We hear people in the rear offices but see no one else. Finally, a young woman arrives, but she goes to the backroom and doesn't say a word to us. She actually looks at us as if we are aliens. Why would you hire somone who is so inept that she apparently doesn't have basic skills required to greet customers and offer assistance? We wanted to connect with Sandra, the designer who helped us previously. She was professionally polished and very much on top of her game. There is simply no way that she would remain with a company that had fallen so far. Of course we left without making contact with anyone. They are definitely off my list and not recommended as their level of customer "no servic" is just unacceptable. read more

I went to Simply Kitchens to get some ideas for a modern kitchen and was met by a representative name Reka who greatly impressed me with her knowledge and professionalism. I emailed Reka a layout of my kitchen floorplan on a Friday evening for her to put together a design layout of the cabinetry I'd chosen from Simply Kitchens. I was not expecting to received the layout renderings until the following week. But Reka completed my layout rendering the same day I sent my floorplan to her. I was so impressed with her proficiency. Reka Jemmont is a great asset to Simply Kitchens. I will be doing more business and sending friends because of the service this staff gave me. read more

Update: Eventually they got everything worked out. While it did take about 4.5 months to fix the issues, they were polite and professional throughout the process, even if they weren't quick. In the end, the work they did to fix things was excellent and we're mostly pleased with the cabinets, outside of them being the wrong color. Woodstone was not my choice, they were chosen by my builder. First off they installed a color that was completely different from the sample. When I protested, they blamed the builder and dragged their feet on fixing it to the point we just had to accept it or risk greatly delaying our home getting done. In addition, the installation was super-shoddy. One of my first jobs was building cabinets and while their cabinets are factory made, the installation was absolutely terrible. There is gaps in the crown molding, drawers that don't line up properly and several of the panels are damaged. They said they would fix the issues, but after nearly 3 months they've done nothing. First there was a story about their sales rep quitting, then I got a new rep Laurence, Laurence made an appointment with me to assess the issues, even though they'd already been documented twice and then never showed up, what's worse is that he won't return calls. Now, I'm faced with the decision of either ripping the cabinets out and having someone else install new cabinets, plus trying to get my original money out of Woodstone or just living with poorly installed, supposedly high-end cabinets. read more

If I could give no stars, I definitely would! I initially requested a design online. I submitted my kitchen measurements and pictures for my "instant estimate", at 10am on Tuesday. After five hours, I hadn't heard from anyone and had left three messages on their voicemail. They don't even have a live person to answer the phone. Someone finally called me back at 4:45 that afternoon and said they hadn't received my design submission that morning, but did get my voicemails. I emailed everything over to Amie and she said that she would have a design to me by Thursday. Not what they advertise, but I wanted quality, so I was willing to give it a day or so. I didn't get anything on Thursday but silence. On Friday morning, she said she would have it to me by the end of the day.....NOTHING! I sent a text and on Monday morning, she told me that she would check when she got to the office. By 3:30, I still hadn't heard from her, so I reached out again. I got an excuse about people being in the showroom and how she had left a character out of my email address. She stated that she wanted to add something to my design and would be sending it over by the end of the day. It's now FRIDAY and I still have NOTHING!!! She has wasted over a week of this process for me and, in the meantime, my kitchen is torn apart. This is absolutely the most unprofessional company I've ever worked with! read more

Purchased cabinets for 2 houses from them, both times; horrible experience dealing with them. These people do not give you a brake down price and only provide you with a total since they do not want you to compare their prices per item with the others. And they take the entire payment upfront. Staff is very unprofessional and never on time on providing the service. Poor, lots of drama and slow service. read more

Service was great from the minute we walked in the door. We were in final phase of remodeling our kitchen and needed a kitchen Island as a final piece. We were greeted immediately after walking in by Robert Ristow. We talked to him about our requirements, he listened, got on his computer and quickly sketched out several digital drawings that were in line with what we were expecting. Robert's guidance was critical to coming up with a feasible, practical and beautiful design. Once Robert came by the house to take the actual measurements we adjusted the design and made several updates to it based on suggestions Robert made. Robert was patient and took our updates and adjusted the design accordingly. We love the final product; the installed island looks great and we are again looking forward to working with Robert on several other projects very soon. Shirley Lucas has been great to work with. I am with at GC in Charlotte, NC and she has been a huge improvement from other suppliers we have worked with. She has gotten samples to us very quickly, provided pricing and renderings quickly, as well as placed an order while we were in a bind and arranged delivery for the next day. Shirley always answers the phone or calls right back. Only reason I did not give 5 stars was because we have not received a full order yet, but the order was just placed today.
