The vets we've seen…read moreMichael and Emily have both been amazing, so kind and Emily was so compassionate through this. However, I was very disappointed by the front desk staff. My dog had spent the night at the emergency room and we quickly came from there to the clinic to get him back on oxygen and assess what the next steps would be. Our boy was going through congestive heart failure and his lungs were filling with fluid. Not only did they know that once we checked in, he clearly couldn't breathe. Everyone in that room could hear him struggling to breathe. They continued checking other people in, maybe 5 people in front of us, and it wasn't until after maybe 10 minutes when he started coughing LOUDLY and whimpering that they finally decided to take him back and actually put him on oxygen. I genuinely cannot believe they were just waiting when it was clearly urgent and they were obviously able to. He had to be crying before they took him back. I'm truly disgusted by that. After he passed we got him cremated and I wasn't sure how long the cremation process took and I didn't remember what the paperwork said through my grief I thought maybe it was 2-3 weeks and he passed on 4/1 but I found out he was cremated on 4/7. I didn't get his ashes until 4/23. They said they gave us a call and we don't have any record of it, but the receptionist was pretty insistent so I can believe she did make that first call and just for some reason it didn't go through. However I think it was ridiculous that after 1 week we didn't get a follow up call, then 2 weeks passed and there's still not another call, nobody followed up and my baby, as well this urn I paid over $400 for, was just sitting there for weeks and I had to call to figure out what was even happening. I don't think that's okay at all. I don't know if they ever would've tried reaching out again or if a month needed to pass or maybe even longer before trying again. The vets were wonderful truly even through his dental surgery he got a year ago but I was overall so so disappointed in the way that this entire experience was handled. I really really hope this feedback helps them improve, I would never ever want anyone else's baby to be ignored by the staff while they're struggling like mine was. If there's an animal being transferred from the emergency room after being there all night, it needs to be treated as such, an emergency.

They've failed on multiple occasions. My dog had a lump appear within 2 days, I stopped in on a whim, the Vet had no appointments and was wandering around hap hazardly, so I asked if she could feel the lump and tell me her opinion. No, I have to set up an appointment, and pay 45 bucks. Which I did. She felt the lump, did nothing else. and said give her some steroids. (which are known to be very hard on animals....) Oh, ok. I guess heres 45 bucks that it took me 6 hours to earn at my cheap ass job. Thanks so much for that. Our last instance we brought dog in, just for a check. The entire appointment ran us 200.00 + dollars. 3 different types of medications (only one of which we used.) and a blood panel. They gave me pain meds for my dog! com'mon! (and a mouth wash @13.00$$) I refuse to attend this clinic again, they will only (even with some resistance) try to charge you as much as they can get from you. Yes, they are capable - but so are many many other vets that will take YOU and not just themselves and their winter vacation costs into consideration. I loved to see that there is a separate entrance for dogs and for cats. The staff behind the counter was very friendly and I already had my paperwork done since the new patient forms are on their website. They did not mind that my dog wants to put her front paws on the counter to say hello. Everyone involved was very sweet to my scared pup. They petted her and spoke softly while they held her for her shots. The doctor saw us on time and we were in and out in a flash. Dr. Emerson answered all of my questions and even anticipated some before I thought them up. The only "negative" I have is that they didn't tell me to wait to get her heartworm results before giving her preventative meds. (Partially my fault) Also, their website is difficult to navigate so it can be hard to find the information you need. Things to know: They do check ups, spaying/neutering, washing, etc. They see almost every pet you can imagine! Dogs, cats, reptiles, rabbits, pigs, birds, etc. They are fair priced. Not so cheap that you wonder if they even have a license but not so expensive that you know that they are only in it for the money. They take cash, check, and all major credit cards. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day (annual check-up).

Next visit was for our big boy, copperhead bite, they treated him quickly and sent us on our way, and 2.5 weeks later we came back, our boy had collapsed after tracking scents in the yard, immediately they caught that it was another snakebite, and determined to be rattlesnake. It was serious, he stayed 24 hrs and was released. We've got a long road of wound care and such, but they saved him. I've had nothing but great care and they saved both our pups lives. The vets have taken their time listening and explaining, very patient and caring. Top notch!!

Texas Ave Mart Texas 76664…read morebecause my mother dog got sick and just because he was Vomiting and Diarrhea and my mother not having the $600 they wanted to see him they had to stay outside in the car with the dog then did not run a test on the dog they come out and say that by the symptoms the dog has Parvo and gives him medication for Parvo when with Parvo the dog would have blood in the Vomit and Diarrhea and on top of that the dog would have a sweet smell on the dogs breath but the dog did not have that and after giving the dog the medication for the 3rd time the dog started getting worse drooling and Vomiting more and Breathing got bad so my mother turk her dog back up there to be put down to end the suffering and they wanted $200 to put the dog down and because my mother did not have the money they would not help the dog with his pain they just left him to suffer when a Veterinary Clinic is post to help and after they poisoned the dog by giving him the wrong medication and that is Animal Cruelty and the dog died on February 4, 2025 at 7:58 pm because of the Mart Veterinary Clinic giving him medication with out running test on him
