The repair was absolutely terrible, they had 2 chances to attempt to fix the problem and both times it came back worse then it did when it went in. The second time I got it back it still had tape stuck to the roof that I had to climb up on and peel off and clean the residue. I was stuck between a bodyshop telling me that the dealership wouldn't pay for the correct repair and the dealership telling me that they didn't tell the bodyshop how to fix it but just to fix it. Being a professional mechanic I was amazed that any repair shop would let a job of this poor quality leave their shop with their name on it, no matter the circumstances. All and all I ended up bringing the truck to a different bodyshop and paid to get it repaired myself and it came out perfect the very first time

I use my car the next day and there's a very loud noise as if the tires are "wabbling" and about to fall off. When I came to the shop to speak about it the owner wanted nothing to do with me. He said don't accuse him of faulty work. When the employee told me they aren't qualified enough to even be there, and going there for an oil change is like "going to the book store" for a car. One of their service guys threw a fit about the age of the vehicle, and the fact that the steering rack was leaking. I was aware of the leak, but it wasn't worth the expense to have it repaired. Then he proceded to rudely mention everything he possibly could list off that was wrong with the car. He actually mentioned that there was a zip tie holding the ABS sensor wire out of the way. Seriously?!? Have these guys ever worked on an old car? When a little tab that holds a wire in place rusts away, I'm not going to replace frame members just to secure a wire! A zip tie works just fine! So, after enduring his litany of complaints, and rudeness, he deliberately misaligned my car. When I drove it in, it was tracking straight. After I got it back from them, I had to turn the wheel about a quarter turn left to get the car to track straight while driving. I brought it to another shop 2 days later who re-aligned it for me. They also gave me a printout of the adjustments they made and strongly suggested I return to Country auto with their paperwork to demand a refund! Needless to say, after they were done with the car it tracked straight again and I will NEVER go back to country auto!

I was recommended this place since I'm relatively new to the area and my old mechanic is a long…read moredrive away. I needed new brake pads and rotors, and I was quoted about $400. When I arrived to pick up the car, I was met with a $1,200 invoice for a new brake system. I was not warned about it at all. Great start. Now my brand new expensive braking system could not stop my car until I pushed the pedal all the way to the back. The mechanic said there's nothing he could do to bleed the excess air out of my "complicated" brake system so I had to leave like that. I took my car to my old mechanic who informed me there is a leaky brake caliper that was installed and it needs to be replaced by the mechanic who put it in because it should still be under warranty. So I brought the car all the way back only to be told no, there is no leak. He had no idea what I was talking about. Yet, he did end up replacing it anyway and the brake felt slightly better. I took the car back to my old mechanic and they got the excess air out and my car braking perfectly! My old mechanic also informed me that these guys installed a COMPRESSION FITTING onto my BRAKE LINE, which is a big NO. I will never come here again. All I wanted was brake pads and rotors, and at least a warning that it could need more work than that. I would rather drive the 25 miles with my car on fire to my old mechanic than come back here.

I was scrambling to pick a place to have it repaired. I found that this shop was a preferred place of repair. Called to schedule rental coverage and to bring my car. However, the rental place that booked me the day I was supposed to drop it off said they had no rentals. Was absolutely gutted. However, Morgan from Auto Park jumped in, found me another place for a rental and saved the day. In addition, the owner of the shop was amazing and truly honest about every aspect of the repairs. Even during two Noreasters, they were able to repair it in a timely manner regardless. They are great people who care about their customers. Kudos!!!!!

The owner, Andrew, inspected a car I am thinking of purchasing sight-unseen--something I felt apprehensive about until I got his report. He clearly did a thorough check and gave me the confidence I needed to feel great about the deal. Discovering a seasoned, honest mechanic is a real find for those like myself who must rely completely on their word. I only wish they would open a location nearer to me in the Western suburbs so I could service my car with this garage.
