Bob started the process with my insurance company and was able to complete the repair in a very reasonable time frame. All repair work was logged and the report provided to me is very detailed. The paint job is fantastic! Also, when a local auto repair shop noticed evidence of a leak in the area that was just repaired, Bob immediately took the car into his shop and thoroughly evaluated the situation. Kilcoyne, me, and the local repair shop, Premier auto repair, agreed that it was no longer an active leak. Kilcoyne does great work. And stands by their work. I don't plan on getting into an accident, but if I do, Kilcoyne is my first choice to do the repair.

For repairs - they're open 7 days a week which is great since it's my to go to for strait-forward fixes - replaced my in laws alternator years back, replaced a section of exhaust that rusted for me last winter, and today they replaced my blown out tire on a Sunday no problem all quickly and at very reasonable prices. I go to dealer for complex issues so can't comment on that. For fuel - Gas prices tend to run a few cents higher than 7-11 across the street but it's a full service station so for some people that convenience can offset the cost.

The job was completed a day early and the workmanship is top class. Looks great. In addition, the car was spotless inside and received a car wash before I left. Looks like it has been detailed. I have taken vehicles (and car parts) to Turnpike Autobody before and have always been delighted with the results. .. and I am not easy to please. I had four snow tires on rims swapped out with four summer tires, also on rims, and they also topped up the tire pressure. The next day, I noticed a warning light for low tire pressure, but didn't think much of it b/c the tire pressure monitors sometimes get fluky after a tire change. A couple of days later, I got a dashboard warning "TIRE NEEDS AIR NOW." When I went to fill the tire in question though, the valve was bent and half broken. So after the holiday weekend, I was able to limp back to the shop with the nearly flat tire, told the supervisor guy what happened and got the valve replaced. Unfortunately, I did not have the receipt for the original work when the valve got broken, so I went back the next day with the receipt. I was stunned when they refused to take responsibility for the cracked valve, although I explained to the guy in charge that they had been the last folks to touch the valve before I discovered that it was broken. He was dismissive, told me I should have brought it back sooner, claimed the tire couldn't possibly have held any air for a week, and insinuated that I had somehow broken the valve, essentially calling me a liar. I'm pissed. As I said, I had been taking my car there for years, BUT THIS IS NO WAY TO RUN AN HONEST BUSINESS. It cost me $124 because they refused to admit their screwup and sought to blame me instead. Anyone want to be next?
