I have had fabulous service from Parson's Auto, both the upstairs body sop and the downstairs mechanical shop. The staff is skilled and friendly, really listens and is quickly responsive to any issues or complaints. When they have forgotten something or didn't completely fix it the first time, they take responsibility and don't charge for the second repair. We are a one car household, and they either schedule me at a time I can wait for the oil change or repair or if it takes a long time, they will pick me up and drop me off if I cannot find another ride. Needed replacement of front panels on car. Check engine light was on. Don't know what that was. They cleaned off that horrible pine pitch Getting car back tomorrow. I have to say, I haven't been to an auto body shop, or anyone who deals with cars, as nice as Parsons. Professional, respectful, and honest. A long time ago -- about 25 years -- a colleague of mine said "if you ever need a good mechanic go to Parsons in East Brookfield." Down-to-earth auto mechanics are hard to find. Parsons however fits the bill: Honestly honest! If the work doesn't need to be done they won't sell it. They are still there in East Brookfield at the same shop doing the same thing: giving great automotive repair to the community. Need I say more? No! But I will anyway. State Inspection station, during safety inspection, said I had "play in the steering column" and should get it replaced. I didn't notice any 'play' but I'm no professional so I went to one: Parsons. Glad I did! No 'play'; no pay. Definitely my mechanic of choice! read more

A couple of years ago my car was inspected by Parson's Auto. Unfortunately, during this process the employee inspecting got my seatbelt stuck in my door causing some damage. The owner was very professional and polite (even after a good amount of time passed) and replaced it free of charge. A woman at the desk had less than desirable manners but the owner and other staff are polite, professional and efficient. read more

Parson's auto in East Brookfield has responded several times when I called AAA. They always arrive promptly, are very professional, knowledgeable, efficient and able to Help me out under difficult situations like my not having a wheel lock key. They called for parts which were delivered right away while I waited. In the past when my car needed body work, they worked nights and weekends to get me back on the road. They're great to deal with. They can be trusted to do the best work and give customers value for their money. read more

I've actually only used this place for tows. Too many times unfortunately. The owner is very very nice and even came out in a snowstorm when AAA refused to dispatch someone for me due to the weather. Very pleasant and usually had a very well behaved small dog with him (which I chose to have on my lap). If I was not faithful to my mechanic of many years, Parsons would be my choice. read more

Service is good but watch out for the prices to be jacked up and hidden costs they slam you with at the end. The last few times I've taken my car there it's been a big shock to find the price tag at the end of their services I'd rather go to Lameroux for the prices they charge they used to be awesome and give you a fair deal now it's all about profit. I brought my Dodge in for a broken water pump. Richard, the owner, spoke with my mother who told him I needed my vehicle for work and I lived an hour away, he assured her he would be able to look at it that day. Over a week later I get the call that my truck will ready but right at closing time, ok no problem. We drive the hour there, go inside and pay ($345!) and they close up. We went to pick up my truck and there was an oily white film on the side-view mirror and the ENTIRE inside of the windshield. The liner of my hood looked like it had been ripped down and is now full of air pockets. It hangs down my windshield and I have to tuck it on the rearview to be able to see while I drive. I took pictures of this and we called to ask them what had happened. They said they didn't know, but would talk to whoever worked on it and call back. Almost another week later, nothing. I will never use this mechanic again, it is obvious they do not care about good work or responsibility. read more
