This is a typical general store. No hype. Gas, groceries, deli, bar area. It's a non nonsense kind of place with great employees.

The restroom was in terrible shape. Both the toilets and the urinals were very dirty. The urinals have a significant build up of dried urine. This is more than just a day or twos neglect. No one has throughly cleaned them in some time. The toilet has dried feces in places it would not normally be. I would not use them. I heard a chef on tv once say that "if you want to check on a place to eat, check out the restrooms first. Restrooms are easy to keep clean and food prep areas are not." The food here is GREAT. Portions are huge so I would recommend sharing. Kids menu is good too. They have a deli for take-out and the bar on the other side for dine-in. The Club Woody sandwich is great and huge. read more

Convenient and fast. Well known for their deli food. Gas prices a bit higher than most. On the plus side it is under new management and customer service is improved. Other prices standard for a convenience store, though some of the candy bar prices are lower. No EBT or coupons accepted however. Some community outreach has occurred including local schools with a picture/drawing contest. Specials included chilli and cornbread during footbal games. I have always thought the staff at Woody's was rude, but the store IS convenient and the deli is usually very good, even tho every order is treated like a massive inconvenience. The women are very in professional and the owner is rude. Now come the reports of racism towards our indigenous students and athletes from Browning and I can no longer stomach the thought of supporting racism. Until there is public acknowledgement and apologies I think they should be boycotted. Maybe, they will be forced to sell and someone who cares about customer service will take it over and make it as grand as it used to be. read more

This is one of the worst convenience stores I've ever seen in my life. They have a menu that says food made to order but that's not true. In fact when you place your order it doesn't come out anything like what you ordered. Try bringing your concerns to a couple of the women who work there and they'll just laugh in your face. there was a young man and young woman that rectified the situation very professionally and to my satisfaction and they genuinely cared. There's also numerous customers around the area here that have dealt with the owner Charlie and apparently his attitude is that he doesn't really give a darn about his customers. There have been people that have done business with him that he has tried to BS and rip off. So do yourself a favor and stay out of Woody's Country Store Highway 35 Kalispell. read more

Very unfriendly staff is all I can say!!! I walked into the store which seemed busy and somewhat poorly organized. The bathroom was neither clean not dirty -- something you'd expect from a gas station along the interstate somewhere. But the worst part is customer service. I said "hello! How are you?" To the cashier -- she said "huh? What did you say?" I repeated myself and she responded with "oh, ok!" She just took my money and didn't not smile or try to be polite. So not the worst place in the world but definitely if you have another option go elsewhere. read more

We stopped in for a beer and something to eat. We got there at 3:15pm and didn't get out of there until after 5pm. We were just about ready to leave without our food we ordered and the bartender came to our table with ketchup and said our order would be right out. My wife had a chopped salad which was a small paper bowl with iceberg lettuce a few small pieces of tomato and some chopped cheese on it. I had a hamburger which I'm not sure but it seemed like a microwave burger. Probably one of the worse burgers I have ever had. Hey the fries were good but they did not come with burger, you had to order them as a side. Their deli sandwiches have always been good but I will never eat there again. read more

The employees could care less about their customers. I ordered deli sandwiches for a gathering and when I went in to pick them up the staff had mixed up the order with another customer order, and I was told "if you aren't happy, you don't have to come back." That is exactly what I will do. The only thing this place can't screw up is gas, and that's because you don't have to go inside to get their help. read more

I changed my mind and grabbed a pre made sandwich which I was charged double for, after correcting the owner he re ran my transaction and still charged me $2 more than the sticker, whatever get me out of here! read more

I am not one to complain, but enough is enough, the only thing convenient about this place is the location. If another store opened across the street they would go out of business. Service is extremely slow, staff is most of the time rude. I have experienced bar staff arguing with each other in front of customers. This business has so much potential but time and time again I have been disappointed. The only reason I stop is to save myself from driving an extra 10 miles. The owner needs to add "customers come first" into his policies. I'll give a star for the "new" girls that are trying! read more

We stopped by Woody's on our vacation and we had a great experience. First of all, the burger I had was amazing. The menu was simple but everyone loved the food. They got part or our order wrong but they were so nice about it that they comped our whole meal. We didn't even care but they insisted. We went back at least 3 times because the people, the food and the service was above and beyond. read more

The sandwiches weren't very good at all. The bread was old and stale. Also, the cashier smirked at me when she checked my ID. I'm not sure this place is good enough to get by on locals' money by itself, so it'd be best to leave the attitude at home. I won't be stopping here again. read more

I stopped at Woodys with a wary eye. Convenience store restaurant bar and casino....sounds like something would fall short. But, I was very pleased. My husband and I wanted to split everything so we ordered a Reuben, a chopped salad and the fried portobellos. Everything was served beautifully, and served divided. The chef/cook took pride in the product and although it wasn't fancy the quality was excellent. The salad greens were fresh and crisp...and not all iceberg, the cheese nicely cubed. We stopped on a Sunday and the bar was slow, so service was timely. The casino is minimal and appeared to have a few regulars. I would definitely eat here again....also....I would check out the bar....it was family friendly when we stopped. In fact the only thing negative was all seating is bar height...except outdoor picnic tables. read more

We always stop here at the convenience store to get sandwiches and goodies on the way to Glacier. It's sort of a tradition for us when we are in Montana. You will have to wait for your order since they take their time making food, and can be busy, but it's worth the wait.
