To be fair, my extended family really likes the pizza here. But tonight, we made the critical mistake of placing the order for delivery. Seems like Woody's made the unfortunate choice of using DoorDash for its deliveries. And DoorDash made the unfortunate choice of hiring Kywoine to deliver our pizzas. And Kywoine made the unfortunate choice of stopping for dinner at Panda Panda for over a half hour, while our pizzas sat on a shelf at Woody's and ten people got increasingly hungry. As I type this, I now see that Kywoine has finished eating and is at Woody's. Meanwhile, we've got our oven preheating so we can reheat the pizza if it gets here. Oh, and 20 minutes after sending the WTF message to Kywoine, I have a reply saying that the holdup was Chipotle taking long to prepare another order. I've never heard of Chipotle needing a half hour to prepare any order. sigh. Never ordering delivery again, and that probably means I'll be more likely to order for pickup at a closer pizza place that has pizza almost as good. read more

Woodys has the absolute best pizza I've ever had. Unfortunately it's only in Clarksville so today I stopped by and grabbed a few pies for the trip home!! It's something about the pizza that makes it taste sweeter than the competition. I can't figure out if it's the crust or the cheese but it's absolutely DELICIOUS!! Not sure where any reviews about price are coming from. I just ordered a pepperoni pizza and a Hawaiian due to reviews and they did not disappoint. Personally I'd love to see any place serve a pizza, appetizer, beer and fountain drink for $40 alone would be a good deal even 10 years ago. With inflation I think their prices are more than fair for what's provided. I was able to order both in car rider line and pick it up on my way home (20 mins). Will be back for sure. Also it's not NY style pizza (which is what I'm always looking for) but it's still delicious. read more

We have ordered to go from Woodys multiple times and I know, with complete certainty, that the order will be wrong. I learned after the first few mistakes that I had to check my order before I left. Yesterday was the last straw. I checked my order and of course it was wrong. When I talked to the manager they gave me the same excuse that they did the time before. New people. The manager said he would remake it. I waited 25 minutes. I trusted that he fixed it and left without checking. When I got home I opened the box and, surprise, it was still wrong. I called to express my displeasure and he refunded my money. I WILL NOT order from this place again and I don't recommend it. The food is really good but the hassle isn't worth it. The first time I was here was probably 2015, and I remember raving about how good it was then. We were back for a late lunch today, and it was just as good as I remembered. You could taste the freshness of the ingredients. We each ordered a small pizza; his was the meats pie and mine was the Hawaiian. (And yes, pineapple DOES belong on a pizza!) My partner really enjoyed his, and I thought mine was awesome. Yes, taste is subjective, and this subject was more than pleased with his pizza. I wouldn't recommend the buffalo chicken pizza. I'm not a fan of the shredded chicken all throughout the pizza underneath the cheese. Incredibly weird texture. Taste wasn't so bad but hard to enjoy with each and every bite feeling as if I have a mouthful of shredded fabric in my mouth. 22$ bucks for a LG that to me did not seem like a LG. First time in here, we ordered the pizza - meatball & mushrooms. The shooms are canned, which is always a shame - adding rubberized mushrooms to anything is just wrong. They said that the meatball is made in house, it was hard to tell really it was more like crumble than sliced meatballs. Lots of cheese, just not a real high quality cheese. The staff was very friendly and the environment looked fun, several HD wall mounted televisions with plenty of seating. Since I didn't eat-in I can't really rate the overall Woody's dine-in experience but I will tell you that their pizza did not leave a good impression. I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed my food from here. I'm just visiting my grandmother and we ordered out. I got spaghetti and meatballs and she got the baked lasagna. We shared cheese sticks per the recommendation of the man who took our order. The main dishes were very tasty and they came with garlic bread! The garlic bread was surprisingly good for free bread and then we get to the cheese sticks. My grandma had originally asked me to order breadsticks but the man on the phone convinced me to get cheese sticks and boy golly were they a hit! I hadn't been to Woody's in years but over the snows days me and my boyfriend decided to give it another shot. Keep in mind it was me and him and about 7 other people in the entire restaurant. I used to love it! It took 15 minutes to get our drinks as our waiter complained about how busy it was, 45 for app then 5 minutes later our pizza came out. The wings were obviously frozen, gummy and soggy. I ate one and hoped our pizza would be better. The pizza came out, toppings still cold, and just looked frozen to me. For the price I was expecting a higher quality of food, and since they are known for their pizza I was definitely disappointed in what we received. When Woodys goes out of business I won't be surprised. They have really gone down hill and I will never give my money to a business who claims to be fresh and homemade and doesn't deliver. read more

Woody's is our favorite pizza but the service needs improvement. We had a bad experience going into the restaurant so we decided to do delivery. We were told it would be an hour. An hour and 45 minutes later we called to ask where our order was. We were told they had no delivery orders so ours must be on the way. Ten minutes later it arrived. It was lukewarm at best. The cheese wasn't even gooey anymore and it all tasted exactly like you would expect a pizza that has been driven around for an hour and a half to taste. This is the second time this has happened and we are disappointed and not going to try it again. We will be going somewhere else next time. Good not memorable, but could be! Initial visit to Woody's on Madison Street, the place was clean the beer was cold and fresh and the waitresses were friendly. I ordered an Italian salad for a start. The portion was just right and was very tasty! They don't make their own dressings in house and I think they are missing out by not doing so. The individual packet was not bad however, I think they'd be well served to have their own "special brew". The beer taps were clean and the Yuengling beer was very fresh and had its own special glass. They had 6 beers on tap mostly the Inbev/A-B brands. I think they could do very well by having a better selection on tap and go micro. Of course you have to have Bud-Light and Coors Light on Tap, but they would be well served to bring a little flair into the line up. Sling a little Goose Island or Stone Brewing product to the line up. I was going to order the wings and thank goodness the waitress saved me by letting me know they were frozen and just broiled in the oven. Another missed opportunity in my opinion. They could make more money and fill a niche for the Sango area if they had two or three fresh made wing styles, and get away from something I could go across the street to Wal-Mart and get outta the deli. The pizza crust was good, and the toppings were plentiful. I had a Pepperoni, Sausage, Onion and Tomato. It was tasty, but not up to the Black Horse standard. The sausage was little "frozen pebbles" and judging by the uniformity of the onions, I bet they were processed as well. Bottom line, Sango has a place that could be a home run. Tweak a couple of items on the menu and I think they have a recipe for success. The bar has a faux granite laminate that had the entire edge coming loose, and they'd been better off slapping down a granite bar. They have beautiful HD Flat Screens everywhere, but guess what? They don't have HD! The b-ball tourney is on EPSN, they are showing a game but the TV's are fuzzy SD resolution? The rotunda area could be an Awesome place to watch a game and eat some killer food. Step up and make it that special spot, it'll pay big dividends in the long run. Or just stay where you are now and MAYBE just get by. My 2c read more
