I made my way over and passed it a few times before realizing it was inside an adorable house. As soon as I walked in I wished i had found this place earlier because I would have stopped by several days for coffee, breakfast and snacks. It's the most adorable little market and everything looks so good. The women who work here were also so friendly! I ordered some pretzel knots with their homemade mustard - they were warm and so delicious. The mustard had a little kick to it and was so delicious. Definitely a hidden gem in Biltmore Village that is worth checking out!

Finch Grocery is in the Biltmore Village neighborhood of Asheville where RV's aren't allowed to park on the street overnight. But Finch Grocery is part of an RV hospitality program where they allow people to use their parking lot. And it was a very quiet and very peaceful night. Arriving at 7pm and departing at 6am meant we didn't get to shop there but we'll be back in Asheville soon and will definitely check them out! Luckily, some google searching helped us find this spot! The heated, covered patio was just what we were looking for. While we were there a band set up and we got to enjoy some live music while we sipped on some beers. We had just eaten before we got there, but saw lots of people grabbing food from the food truck right outside. The beers were also good - we mostly sipped on the Pilsner but all the beers looked good. Proof there's good beer outside of the crowded brewing district!

Let me explain: A friend was celebrating a milestone birthday and spending the weekend in Asheville. We thought of so many different things we could do to celebrate from afar, but nothing felt "milestone"...it felt ordinary. Until, in a search, I ran across South Slope Cheese. Not only did we arrange for the delivery of an amazing cheese board to my friend's hotel, they went the extra mile when they learned my friend is vegan. They called, asked questions all around my friend's preferences, even worked with the hotel to make sure the delivery was kept in the right spot waiting for my friend's check in. All reports of the surprise pointed to every single bit of special and delicious was absolutely wonderful. Every cheese was delicious...and my friend didn't even realize all of the cheese options on the tray were totally vegan!!!! She was crying when she realized just how much care South Slope Cheese put into making this truly a treat for HER. The extra time and care they took really telegraphed to me that they not only care about their customers and the experience...but about the cheese! I may NEVER set foot in this wonderful shop because I don't live in the area, but I will ALWAYS recommend and praise this wonderful business.

The wings were HOT, fresh, and well seasoned! The fries were also really tasty. My son ordered bacon cheese burger and fries, which he enjoyed. I would definitely return when I'm in the area again.
