Such a great vibe! The food was amazing and so was the service! Great beer selections and our bartender was really able to elaborate on the menu! Will definitely be back.

Great food, great service. I would 100% come here again!!!! Ryan rocked!!! The sweet potato waffle fries were excellent as were the chicken wings, the chicken panini and a great selection of draft beers and mixed drinks ! Clean bathrooms too! As Toby Keith would say "I Love This Bar" !

My husband and I stopped here on the 4th of July. We arrived when they opened and were greeted by the bartender. He was really nice and super helpful. We both ordered the tacos since it was Taco Tuesday. I am a taco lover and I can be a bit critical of them. I ordered the fish tacos and didn't really expect to be blown away. I was very wrong! The fish was breaded but not over-breaded, the cabbage slaw was perfect and they put it on a flour tortilla which was not too thick and made for the perfect chew. I am so glad we stumbled upon this place! The service was awesome and we got in and out fast. I will say you get a lot of food for the price, both my husband and I had to do a double take at the bill, we were expecting a much higher amount. If we are ever in Asheville again we will most definitely be back.

This is a fun joint. Epic service and I can tell the locals like it. It was packed on a Friday afternoon and the bartender killed it and made everyone happy. I tried the waffle fries-( I kinda wish they weren't sweet potato and frozen. And also the dry rub wings. The wings were a salt bomb for me. I had to de salt them a bit. Otherwise a nice afternoon.

That was quite an experience! Definitely my favorite beverage of the day was the mule I ordered. My husband and I had eaten dinner elsewhere, so this was our nightcap before heading to our hotel. We didn't stay long, since my husband kept getting hit on even with me sitting right next to him. I didn't care, I thought it was funny. Not sure we'd come back just because of how uncomfortable he felt. The bartenders were great and attentive. I can't review the food, since we didn't eat anytui

The food was delicious, but the service was not great. Maybe it was an off night, but our waiter didn't bring me my beer and he would disappear.

Grilled chicken panini was delicious. The beer cheese dip and homemade chips were divine. Great bar and great food.

    Dog friendly? Outdoor seating?

Yes outdoor seating and I believe I saw a dog outside last time I was there (pretty sure, but I haven't taken mine personally).

We tried 4 beers - the surf wax IPA, I surfed the sky, prophetmaker, and the festbier. Surf wax was our favorite! We also ordered a smash burger and both enjoyed it. We both loved the theming in there - macabre and reminded me a bit of the ruin bars in Budapest. Very cool aesthetic. We'd love to return on our next visit and try more of their beers.

Right away the place had a cool vibe, not just a regular brewery where you go in and drink a beer. It had a lot of interesting decor and you could tell they really lean into their own weird, artsy style. The decor was colorful and fun, with murals and random quirky details all around. It kind of had this dark but playful look to it, which somehow worked really good. The beer garden area also gave it a laid back feel, and the whole place had way more character then a normal taproom. The beer menu was creative too. There were plenty of beer choices and I got the Sinister Gaze of the Unapologetic Imperial Stout. With a cool name like that it fit my mood from the heat. With cocoa nibs, sea salt, vanilla bean, and that rich stout flavor, it sounded bold and kind of dramatic, which fits the place perfect.

Almost every beer on the menu is a split batch fermented with two different yeast strains to showcase the resulting differences. It's a great concept, even if you're not into brewing. In terms of the food, it seems like the really leaned into providing something good, well-balanced, and sometimes takes advantage of the yeast and beer being cultivated on site. I had a house salad and some dilly beans for lunch. The house salad was fresh and extremely well balanced. I'm glad they had something vegetable centric available. The dilly beans were good, but quite a bit for a single human. They're probably the type of thing you would want to split among friends. I actually showed up for an event in the evening where they served pizza using dough fermented with one of their yeast strains. That was truly excellent. Nicely balanced, not over the top, with a deeply flavorful crust. If you're in Asheville, I would consider this a must visit destination.

Mrs. K. and I took the two seats at the end and I walked up to the bar to order drinks and dinner. A pint of the "American Style Lager" for me and their "Spicy!" ginger beer that Mrs. K. said was good but not all that spicy. Less than ten minutes later, my chicken wings arrived. They sell them as "a pound" which was good because these were very small wings. Small, but tasty in a sweet/spicy sauce and I ate nearly all of them while slowly sipping that very crushable beer. When it was done, back into the Sprinter van and off to figure out where we're parking for the night. I had tried to make a reservation on their RV parking app but they're booked two or three weeks out! Note: The restrooms are upstairs and they have an elevator. We did two flights and our favorites were the honey orange trippel and 1554 for me, and obviously juice force for my husband but also sweet ride. We both enjoyed the Trippel on draft more than bottled that we've previously had. The place was super busy (5 pm on Sunday of Labor Day weekend) but the line kept moving and the bartenders were friendly. There were a bunch of seating options, both inside and outside. We sat near the river and then moved to the covered pavilion when it got warm. There were a lot of yard games to keep people entertained. Two food trucks also on property which were good. There were a ton of kids but it didn't feel like it was overrun with kids or anything like that. They really nailed the vibe of making it welcome to everyone. There were activities for kids to play and they mainly stayed on the lawn section because of the fun stuff they had for them. It was really nice to see couples, groups of friends, older people, young people, and families all coming together for a good time and some good beer.
