We appreciate the cashier for being honest and informing us beforehand about the sale. That service recieves excellent service points. The ambiance feels so convenient and modern, which is the overall vibe of this market. Me and my family will continue to visit this restaurant because we love going here every time! The owner is so nice and willing to help you find anything you need in the store. She even has given us free side dishes since we are frequent customers! You can see all the employees in the back of the store working hard and washing all the fresh produce. If you're in the Torrance area stop by and try some Korean dishes from this place!

It's a small, quaint Mediterranean international market with an interesting inventory. The proprietor was very friendly, the shop has a great local vibe. My sandwich was thickly stuffed with tender, sliced roast beef, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo and mustard on a tasty, soft roll. The large sandwich at $8.99 is easily big enough to share. Now that I've found this local gem, it will be a regular lunch stop for me when I'm in Redondo.

I forgot that I had visited India Sweets & Groceries until I saw Alana's recent pics & found my review draft. I discovered this mom & pop when I was picking up lunch takeout in the same strip mall; they're noted for their Indian deli food takeout (there's a few table & chairs if you prefer to dine-in, & kinda cramped) & groceries, & they have cheap, huge samosas! I would detour here to either supplement my lunch or add a mid-afternoon snack. I mostly order samosas... & they are large, flaky shells stuffed with spiced potatoes, peas, onions. They're flavorful & seasoned well, but not always fried properly; sometimes they're greasy because the shell absorbs too much oil (low oil temp, overcrowded pan, improper drainage?) or they're a bit burnt. They come with a tamarind (red) & cilantro (green) dipping chutney; the tamarind is packed with tangy, sweet flavor with a slap of spiciness, while the cilantro is herbaceously savory & vibrant with a slight spicy kick. I usually eat the samosas on its own, & save the chutneys to use on the pakoras because sometimes they're on the bland side. And the pakoras also has similar issues of being too oily. The Aloo & Gobi Parathas are huge & nicely stuffed with spiced mashed potatoes (aloo) & spiced grated cauliflower (gobi). The comforting flatbreads are flavorful & filling... sometimes I'll bundle both into an aloo gobi paratha because I love aloo gobi stir-fry (it's my one of fav Indian dishes & I almost always order it). Since I'm dropping in around lunch, there's usually a line but it moves fairly quick & the foods in the steam tables are fresh due to constant turnover. Sometimes, they do run out of samosas & the wait hasn't exceeded 10-mins. Food prices range from cheap to moderate. Service is more about speed than friendliness, which is fine by me... It does feel like a neighborhood market. I do like the size of this one. It could be a little bigger with more options and eliminate that huge honkin' one on PCH. I usually buy my sparkling waters, ciders/soda and bevs here. They have it displayed pretty well in a cold wall with a good variety of drinks. Next to a Daiso, if you want to check out a cool Japanese "dollar" store.

They're on the front right side as you enter the market's food court, next to Hokkaido Ramen Santouka. If it wasn't for TooGoodToGo, I would have missed out on an amazing deal for their "leftover" surprise... & what a surprise it is! A full meal of chicken katsu & all the trimmings. Yum!! Unlike some of the other TGTG participants, Yamacho RMK is well prepared with a whole refrigerated section allocated for their TGTG customers for fast seamless pick-ups. You get your surprise bag choice; I figured you can't go wrong with a bigger bag, though I wonder what's in the smaller ones If you plan to dine in, there's a centrally located dining area further in if you keep heading east. I took mine back to the office to enjoy. I'm assuming this bento box is only a day old.
