The manager Gary is a super cool dude who will usually hook you up (even after hours) if you tell him you're here for the show. They have enough equipment to get all the angles and muscle groups and it's super clean. Gary has done a great job remodeling the place and all the equipment is well maintained. There are bathrooms and showers. There's a ton of mirrors and room for mobility work and/or posing. I am usually not one for commercial gyms but the next time I'm in town this will be my go to spot!

Another annoying occurrence is that it takes weeks/if not months for something to be fixed (example the sensors in the sauna) There is a group of older gentlemen who continuously talk about the saunas/stream baths in their original country of origin. They continuously mess around with the heat sensors at the YMCA claiming the sauna here isn't "hot enough" as it is in their country of origin. They in turn mess up the sauna and put it out of commission for weeks/if not months.

I cannot imagine who would find this "gym" appealing except a high school boy looking to buy steroids, although there was one woman who seemed to be the one selling them. Ladies, do you enjoy being ogled by sickly-complected 17-year olds who run 0.3 miles on the treadmill at an all-out pace in a hoodie, WITH the hood up? How about a 23-year old bro wearing seven pounds of hair gel and a tanktop comprised of four strings? Then by God it's your lucky day, as the exclusive demographics of this joint appear to be Really Weird Dudes. Further observations: The music is bad (not normal-bad, you-have-to-try bad), and it is deafening. Blaring Queen on my noise-cancelling headphones failed to drown it out. The lighting is...red. The locker rooms are small and dirty. The ambiance screams Ringworm. The temperature is hardly cooler than the outside (it's called a dehumidifier, friends). On the treadmill I used, half the buttons were straight-up broken and the belt was loose, and it crapped out after 30 minutes. I did not stay to use the weight machines, which were crammed together like tinned sardines, as the urge to escape became, well, inescapable. In summary: I'm genuinely impressed that I managed to move this close to The Worst Gym in the World. Like, what are the chances. My friend has a guest pass here and brought me for the second time. Crunch has everything I need to…read morework out. Their machines are a bit different and use a slider to increase/decrease weight. My slight pet peeve is that the plates aren't the same brand throughout. I see a few different types of the same weight. Crunch also has a tire for working out, which I wish more gyms had! Staff was very nice and I saw them actively refilling cleaning products and such. The parking spot is quite small (at least the one right in front of it), but I'm not from the area, so not sure if there's more space.
