After wasting about three hours at Tire Warehouse on Grove Street where they couldn't get to anyone waiting-- I headed up West Boylston Street to L&M Tire Auto Repair-- they were absolutely top notch. The young man who waited on me was professional and completely understood what I needed, he even called me after I dropped it off to run an errand to make sure he had the right tire. We needed brake pads, rotors, and new tires which we were able to get done all in one day in less than 3 hours. Such a great guy and a great place to get work done! I was on vacation and needed to get some quick repairs on my daughter's car. Others shops seemed like they didn't really want to work (just after the 4th of July holiday) and wouldn't patch a brand new tire. The boys at LM pulled it right into the shop and went to work. This place was a total life saver! I blew a tire out last night (I was aware that my rear tires were dry rotting but I didn't know it was THAT bad) and all I had was a donut, didn't have a full size spare. So I really needed to replace the tire first thing today because I have a long commute to work on highways and there was no way I'd be able to get by on the spare. I called a few places and got some prices for 4 new tires (they really all needed to be replaced anyway.) One place told me $500, the next told me $465 and couldn't do it today. I called L&M as a recommendation from my neighbor. They were SO NICE and I got four brand new all-weather tires for my 2006 Civic for $360 (included mounting, balancing, and the tires themselves). They were able to put them on right away, and I was still able to make it in to work! They also offered me a free oil change with the purchase of my new tires, but I had to decline because I literally had an oil change three days ago. But that would have been super nice if I needed one! I work in Ashland MA and usually have my car repairs done at Universal Auto (I can leave it for the day when I'm at work so its convenient and they're great also) -- but next time I am at home in Worcester and in need of a service for my car, I will DEFINITELY bring my car here if I need anything. Used to the best place around for prices and tires but now not so much. On my recent visit September 7 2021 all I wanted was to pop new rides on my Toyota corolla. I was told it would be done right away as I was the only person there but another person pulled in and I was made to wait while the started to serve the other person. I came no later than 930. But was made to wait till 1200 before I was done .that's not the worst of it.the young man using the impact wrench to remove lugs apparently doesn't know what he's doing .he reverst it and tightened instead of loosening and snapped of the stud with the lug.he explained it off as the lug was rusted.i was forced to pay 110 in labor 12 a stud and more for a lug.are you kidding me?it was their fault but I had no choice but to pay it.including 20 a piece to change the tires my 40 bill became 162!I don't recommend them to anyone and I will NEVER go there again. Purchased New tires from L&M less than 2 Months ago. Decided to take a short trip to The Beach. Driving in the fast lane doing about 65 miles per hour and the tire literally explodes. AAA shows up and tells me that the tire is defective and so is the rear passenger side. AAA driver tells me to take the tire with me and show L&M tire the remains. After nearly getting killed I agree, drive on a doughnut tire to Tire Warehouse and they state the same. The tires are defective. At this point I return from the beach and drive to L&M and was greeted by Marcielio. He states that due to low tire pressure the tire blew out, but silly Marcielo didnt realize that I had been to Jiffy Lube the day before and am quite sure they checked my tire pressure the day before. I attempted to show him the sticker but he was not concerned at the fact they he sells shit ass cheap federal tires that are rejects. He refused to even replace the other defective tire.
