Ordered an xlarge pepperoni pizza. Received an xlarge cheese pizza, which was quite tasty. When informed of their mistake they apologized and sent over the xlarge pepperoni and a 2 liter of coke. It took 50 minutes but they made it right. read more

Signed up just to write a review here. We've given this place three tries now and decided it has so much potential but is still experiencing growing pains. Best Item We Tried: Steak Sub - It was delicious. It's small but only because it's a case of quality over quantity. Worst Item We Tried: Plain Cheese Pizza - they promote this pizza heavily and honestly, it was very bland. It pretty much tasted of cardboard and they definitely need to add something to it, whether by trying a blend of cheeses or just mixing some spices into the recipe. Everything else we tried was pretty hit or miss and personal taste and expectations played the largest roles in determining our satisfaction. The Chicken Quesadillas were beyond excellent the first time yet absolutely awful the second. Thankfully, we gave them another shot and they almost found their original footing and put up a decent third attempt. The Garbage Pie (which is essentially the Works) was pretty good and thanks to fresh toppings, it did not suffer the lack of taste we found the plain cheese pizza to have. We also tried a calzone and the crust was burnt to hell. That being said, the filling was excellent and again, is another case of this place having great potential but still trying to find some consistency. I think the next few months will really determine whether they push hard for quality and become a Worcester staple or if they succumb to laziness and are happy pushing crap on the college crowd. The last couple pizza joints in their location both folded within 18 months because they let their quality slide... I hope BOPF can push through and strives for something better. read more

Probably serves one of the best subs in Worcester or even from what I've had. They are absolutely delicious and the cost is very decent! I've visited on multiple occasions and each time, the food was spectacular. I would eat there more often if I could. I love the brick over pizza here, its very tasty, cooked just enough and the whole family agrees its one of our favorites.

New to the area, this had been my go-to. Really excellent white pizza, mozzarella sticks and buffalo chicken pizza. Had delivery twice, both within an hour. Today I placed my order at 5:45pm, was told it would be about 45 minutes. Got a call an hour after my order asking my address which was not only confirmed at the beginning of the order but is in the system from previous deliveries. Pizza finally delivered at 7:30pm. They blamed computer issues but after a 12 hour workday, waiting for 2 hours for pizza is pretty unreasonable. read more

We did another order on May 27th, and it came in 25 minutes! The food was also excellent. If they can sustain this its definitely a 4-5 star establishment. The present rating is 4 star because of the past incidents of 50+ minute delivery times. I will increase it over time if they sustain it. read more

I was looking forward to this pizza because it had over four stars. I called to make sure they delivered to where I live and they said yes, then went to place an online order later on so I could get 10% off my first online order. As soon as I pressed the place order button, it said it could not be delivered to my area. I called the restaurant and they said it could be delivered, but I couldn't get the 10% off. So I ordered anyways and was told 45 minutes, and didn't come for at least another ten minutes after that. The delivery guy was nice, but once I opened the box, there was no pepperoni on the pizza. I was charged for pepperoni and didn't get it. Also, the pizza was pretty bad, I didn't not like the sauce at all and it was just bland. The garlic bread was just a roll barely toasted with some butter and barely any garlic. I will not be ordering from here again. read more

Wonderful place!!! I often take my daughter who is 3yrs old to grab a pizza after daycare or stop and have some fries! Since finding The Brick Oven, we have moved across the city and will drive the 10-15 mins to eat here. With having a 3yr old we have had some accidents, which were taken care of with a smile and good laugh. During a pretty bad snow storm last year the owner knew I placed the call for pick-up and told me to stay warm in my car with my child and walked it out personally to us. And tonight we were curious about the spinach pie on the menu, asked what it was but as great as it sounded we went ahead with the mushroom pizza (extra mushrooms) as my child requested, and cheddar and broccoli cheese bites. I asked how long it would be before the food was done & if I could go run an errand. He said 10-15 mins and should be done! When I came back my order was perfectly ready with an additional box. The owner insisted that I gave the spinach pie a try on the house! Needless to say once home, that's the first thing we ate!!! If these things alone are not excellent customer service, I'm not sure what is! This pizza shop I can say with confidence is the best place around with a great owner and friendly staff! Very clean, roomy. Meals are always just as you ordered, served hot to go or brought to your table! Prices are more than fair! Monday through Thursday five dollar LG cheese pizzas. They have $5 pizza on Wednesdays! The pizza here is bomb! Literally the only pizza spot I will order from when I'm at my sister's who lives right around the corner lol. Great service & they're quick as hell. I don't know how any of you could possibly complain about this place but then again most of you were probably an only child & got spoiled most of your lives. I provided dinner for my daughter's volleyball team that played Holy Cross. We needed about 20 hot meals delivered to their bus at a specific time on a Saturday night. The players said the food was delicious, filling and the portions were big enough that they all had leftovers to take back to school with them. Got a buffalo chicken pizza at around midnight that looked like it was thrown like a frisbee before being served to me

Food wAs ordinary! I had buffalo chicken salad that had 2 large slices of tomato 2 very thin slices of cucumber and a variety of lettuce. The chicken was not spicy and the ranch dressing was out of a jar. When the driver dropped it off he charged $2 for delivery when the menus (we have 2 different ones) both said free delivery. He took the charge off but I'm wondering how honest this place is? read more

This place was beyond DISRESPECTFUL. I ordered a pizza 3 hours ago!!! I understand that there are poor weather condtions but 3 hours is unacceptable. Order came in right when they said it would. Our order was $29 and part of it was $10 steak tips. The steak tips really were not great at all and when we called to get a refund the owner was very understanding, took responsibility and gave us a refund. Kudos to great customer service! Came here on a Saturday night and the place was hopping! We ordered the meat lovers calzone and veggie pizza. They accidentally made my husband a pizza, not the calzone and made up for it by making him a calzone anyway. They didn't charge us for the pizza so he got a calzone to take home with him too! I thought that was great customer service. Everyone there was super friendly and it appeared to be frequented by locals. Staff seemed to know the patrons and vice versa. It had a cool neighborhood feel. Prices were reasonable and service quick. The only con is there isn't much seating inside if you want to eat there. read more

This place is right down the street from my house and the food is always pretty good. But there are huge issues with the staff, I'm not sure what's going on there lately but the last two times we've ordered my boyfriend has walked down to pick up the food at the time we were quoted and he has ended up waiting for about 45 minutes. I ordered from this restaurant through Grubhub. I placed my order at 6:00. I received a notification from Grubhub stating that my order was being prepared at 6:15. The estimated delivery was to be between 7:15-7:25. It's now 8:00 and I haven't received my food. My wife called the restaurant and someone picked up and said "please hold." However, they didn't actually place her on hold. It was almost like they sat the phone down. We heard their conversations and waited for 4 minutes on hold as they joked and laughed with one another. We hung up & called back. After telling them that it's been almost 2 hours since we've ordered they immediately said "it's on it's way now-it'll be there shortly." The reasoning for the delay is they're "very busy." Say what you want about the popular chain restaurants, they've never made me wait 2 hours. I'll be going with them from now on, even though the chain restaurants aren't as good. We were told that we could get a free soda for the wait though! Thanks!///update: I called the restaurant bc after 25 min from my wife's call, still no food. The guy on the phone told me it would be out soon (when 25 min earlier he said it was on its way) he then hung up on me. We received our food at 8:50!
