Man, the second staff must have been told about their closing, they really checked-out. My husband…read morecame in well before the announcement to replace some gym clothes and buy some zip fleece and the second he walked-in, the staff were all over him. We had been there maybe 3 months prior, so we knew where things were and he had a list of specific items to get, but she would not let him browse and quickly ushered him to the register before he could even take a look at anything else he might want to buy. We were lucky that the two pairs of pants we needed in a size not in the store arrived by mail before they announced the closure, but I have friends who are still waiting for things ordered in July who will likely never see those things.... I am really hoping our school goes to Land's End as the replacement because dealing with these independent companies is awful.

WORST experience I have ever had!!!…read more I have been waiting over four months for my order, which, due to an arror made by one of their employees, was shipped to the wrong state. Despite multiple attempts to reach their customer service, I have yet to receive any meaningful assistance. This level of service is completely unacceptable. I understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of accountability and the inability to resolve the issue promptly has left me frustrated and dissatisfied. I would NOT recommend this store to anyone based on my experience.

The owner was super friendly and you can tell he loves what he does. I think the shop has been open for awhile but stores like these are becoming a rarity. Coincidentally, I bookmarked this place on Madison St. in downtown Forest Park, approximately ten (10) to fifteen (15) minute walking distance from either CTA Harlem or Forest Park Blue Line station. The owner was friendly and offering assistance when Dad was mumbling about combat boots. Unfortunately, he didn't have much luck on finding his size. By the way, guys, for your information he wears women's size 7.5! There were some fun t-shirts, caps, beanies, outerwear, jumpsuits, and trousers with police and military themes. However, most of their items were priced on a much higher side. I was about to commit on purchasing a Chicago-flag t-shirt, substituting stars with skulls. I decided not to due to the intimidating caption and hefty price ($18 for a t-shirt). It was cool to see a dressing room for customer use. We had a great time browsing through the aisles. Items were well-organized in categories. If you were into collecting military and police gadgets, this shop would be appropriate for you to poke around.
