I don't know if I just missed it or was there no parking spaces close to the entrance. I would think a place like this for people who have foot issues that a close parking spot would be a real need. We asked a ways off near Pet Food Express and it would have been a bit of a walk for someone with a cane or a walker. I always thought of these type of shoes stores are for the geriatric people, but as I get older I'm more drawn to these types of shoe stores. I had a case of planter fasciitis so I'm extra careful of the shoes I wear these days. I'm now drawn to orthopedic shoes, and shoes with arch support. I wasn't really paying attention, but according to my husband the whole shoe store had only women's shoes that we could see. They had some nice shoes on sale, but they were still really pricy, all around the $100 mark. I did find 2 pairs that looked like the ones I have at home, but different colors. They are nice, but you can feel every pebble you walk over so in the end they really aren't hat comfortable. I found another pair that I liked and that were summery, but for the price I really didn't need just another pair of shoes. I was in the need of sandal so I perused the sandal selection. I haven't had cute sandals in years. I have functional hiking/water type shoes, The heavy duty type Teva and Keens, both great for hiking and water activities, but definitely not cute or sexy sandals. Now a days I need comfortable shoes for my old feet so it's hard to find something that will work for me. I picked up a pair of BIza sandals. I'm really hoping and crossing all my fingers and toes that they will be comfortable not just sitting around, but also walking. And that is the type of stores they have in the Fountains. I did se my older aunt wearing them so I'm hoping they aren't too old lady like. I want to still look young and fun even those I'm also getting up there in age. read more

I have only been here three times. Each time, the salesperson was very nice, attentive, and patient. They all brought me several shoes to try and didn't pressure me to buy. I love Biza shoes, so I always buy a few pairs, but they didn't know that. I appreciate the great service I have received there. They even called me to tell me that the two pairs I ordered had arrived, so I can pick up. The sales person said she would call when they arrived, and I appreciate she followed through. read more

Whoa~Round and round trying to find Sole Desire was difficult, indeed! I had to call the shoe store finding where the store was located! Eureka~I found Sole Desire after arriving twenty-minutes prior which is the reason why I checked in at Sur La Table: Sur La Table's address on the building is Suite 170 BUT, I never saw the building address which is 1198! WHAAAAAT???? Uh-Sole Desire according to my Garmin stated I was at the right address while the Sur La Table, retail sales rep confirmed I was definitely at the wrong location! Oooops~So utterly confusing! Sole Desire's retail, sales rep had to direct me how to find the store while driving and talking to her on my cellphone's speakerphone; finding parking was difficult while dodging the amusing train ride driving around the roundabout . . . bizzare but, do be wary of the train weaving around the thoroughfare! I found parking in the rear, backlot behind Sole Desire's building, walked across the parking lot's crosswalk, and I almost was ran over by an inattentive, SUV driver! Geez~What an escapade getting to Sole Desire just so I may purchase walking shoes! Anyway, I arrived at Sole Desire, I chose a few pairs to try on, and I chose a pair of dressy, walking shoes walking around 2018 winter conditions. I chose the Silk Taupe, SKU 84418-02069 dressy, quasi-boot style shoes. Incidentally, the shoes I chose are awesomely comfortable, protect my feet from winter conditions, and I can walk miles while avoiding having my feet wet from snow-laden sidewalks, curbs, and streets . . . I'll add gel insoles later for maximum comfort. read more

Bought a pair of shoes there less than a month ago. I never wore them outside of putting them on in the house to make sure I want to keep it. I went back within the time allowed to return the shoes but the salesperson would not allow me to exchange it. The sales person was very, very rude said that she saw scuffle marks on it. I personally was appalled that she told me that when I know I never ever wore it aside from trying it on in the house. I told her it must have been there before I purchased it and she said the marks were not there before I bought it. How on earth can she claim I wore it when I did not. I'm pissed off because I have been a loyal customer there for years and she treated me in the most disrespectful way. Please look at the photos, does it look like I wore it? You do not treat customers the way she did. I was told to speak to the manager which I did and she did allow me to return them thankfully. She treated me with respect unlike the salesperson. Anyways, I admit I got upset when I was accused of having worn them when I know in my heart that I had not. It was how she treated me as a customer that upset me. Went in today looking for Taos sandals. The sales assistant said "Welcome", but never got off her ... to do anything else. I wandered around for a while and couldn't find what I was looking for and so I approached and asked if the store carried the brand ("not at the moment"). So I told her what I was looking for and she said if I saw anything that I could bring it to her so she could get me the size. No offer to help, or suggestions, or anything. Still sitting at the register. I tried on one pair (too tight, not enough arch support) so I specifically asked for suggestions (white sandals, adjustable width, good high arch support, low to no heel). She showed me lots that did not come in white, and then one that looked like it might work, although the heel was higher than I'd prefer. Tried one on, and the arch support was so low that I knew it would never work, so I took it off and told her it didn't have enough arch for me. She then screeched "WELL LOOK AT THEM! THE ARCH SUPPORT IS REALLY HIGH". So I left. The store barely has any brand variety anymore and I would rather shop on Zappos than return to this kind of treatment. read more

I have shopped at their store in San Francisco where I lived most of my life, a few weeks ago, I found this treat at the Fountain. I have been a couple of times and been helped by Kristy who is incredible, she goes above and beyond and is an overwhelming abundance of patience. Kristy is an outstanding employee and helped me find a total of four pairs of the most comfortable, yet also cute shoes I have ever had. Due to a plethora of health issue, I have trouble finding shoes that don't kill either my feet, knees or back. The store is full of nice selections and Kristy listens to each customer to assess their needs and likes, she is one of a kind. So disappointing! Worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. It's these experiences that drive myself and others to shop online or Amazon. I walked into the Galleria store and the woman working, 7/9 at 3:40p did not acknowledge us or say hi. Stayed at the counter using her computer. I waited 15 min w 4 pairs of shoes in my hand. So I asked if she would she come around? She said I needed to bring them to her at the counter, she does not walk around.... Ugh! Golden rule, treat people with kindness and they will treat you the same way. We are all human, if you are busy, then just say, I'm helping someone and I'll be w you shortly. I have always had great service and great shoes from this store. I recently bought a couple of boots there. I wore them to work a couple of times, and they really hurt my toes. They would not let me return them or exchange them. Most places allow 60 days for returns, I haven't even had them for a week. I will not be back to this store ever. Shopped here many times and went back specifically for Taos sandals. NO ONE acknowledged that I walked in nor that I was holding a shoe looking for service. No" I will be with you in a moment". I waited for the cashier to finish and when she finished a lady walked into the shop toward the cashier. The cashier looked at the woman and told her that I was first. The entitled old woman acknowledged it and continued to ask her questions. Instead of stopping her and helping me, since I had been waiting about 10 min, she proceeded to help that woman. I stood there for another 3-5 minutes without help, in disbelief. So my comments are more neutral. I like the selection of shoes, great location, but I feel the staff, while knowledgeable, is pretty rude. While returning a product, the employee made a nasty comment towards me that was very unnecessary. I don't need to be treated badly, especially as a paying customer. After exchanging the pair of shoes for another pair of shoes, I went home and found that the pair of shoes I just got was half the price online. She brought at least 15-20 pairs of shoes for me to try on so I could learn what felt best on my feet and she would learn what shoes were most comfortable for me.
