I am very very grateful for this store and the prices are very reasonable. Cause boy oh boy did I have a terrible time trying to find last minute scrubs. Turns out if you're in an interview for a medical facing job where scrubs are useful you should not say you can start tomorrow or else you will be doing vitals in business casual. Luckily on day 3 I got to get scrubs because of this store. It's big and cool and also sells shoelaces for a reasonable price since my dog ate my shoelaces. So yay. I love two things during our California "winters" - staying warm and eating pho. One November afternoon back in 2023, I was nextdoor to this shop having a 5 star bowl of Pho. I had been wearing the same few long sleeve, heavy duty cotton Nike undershirts since literally 2005 and they were wearing out. So, I decide to stop in to see if they had any size XXL Tall size heavy-duty long-sleeve cotton undershirts. And they did so I bought a bunch. I've gone back with my college age sons, who love the Pro Club and Cahart clothes that they have tons of. If you need heavy-duty clothes, this is your store. I return every year for Christmas gifts too. And don't forget to eat next door at the Vietnamese restaurant. It's fantastic too! read more

I went to this store, because I like to support local businesses. I was looking for a comfortable pair of work shoes. I have to do a lot of walking and standing. There two ladies working there told me their work zone shoes are very comfortable and many restaurant employees purchased them. I asked them what if I didn't like them, which they told me I couldn't return them. They spent 10 minutes telling me how comfortable these shoes are for their customers, so I bought them based on their recommendation. I wore them for a week and they hurt my feet and lower back. I even bought gel inserts to see if that would help. I am now donating them. I had to buy another pair of shoes which were Rockport's and I am very happy with them. I would not buy anything from this store again, because how can I trust them to be honest with me on other products. read more

Been shopping here for awhile now, but no more. Owner operator outfit. guy is friendly enough but had a problem and felt it was handled poorly and is indicative of overall attitude of owner. Asked for a leather belt that wasn't glued together, said he understood and he showed me one and I bought it. A couple of days later, it started to come unglued separated. Took it back and he apologized, saying he had no idea these belts were layered and glued together. wouldn't credit my card but instead gave me a gift certificate, which I lost. went back and took out his envelope of unredeemed gift cert. and asked what my name was, I said you didn't put my name on it, and he said 'hmmm, that's a problem" He did a cursory shuffle through all of them, asking the approximate time I last came in. Of course it wasn't to be found. he weakly offered some type of discount but without apologizing he was done with me, having no further obligation. I quietly left. But I'm here to tell you what I observed specific to this incident: I'm sure if he took the price of the belt, then added tax, he would have found it. As he was thumbing through this substantial pile of unredeemed certificates I saw a few that matched the price. But I'm convinced his intention was never to find it. This man has been in business for quite awhile, there is a much better chance of a cert being found if he makes it a matter of practice to write the recipients name down. If it were truly a "problem" then he would make this a matter of practice. He doesn't because he's hoping that, in either case of a gift or of a return, you lose the certificate. This pile was substantial, amounting to several thousand dollars, money made without having any inventory, without having to pay for anything other than the certificate itself. He lost a customer over 20 bucks, and it was in a way that revealed to me what kind of business man he really is. Keep the money, you lost a customer by looking at the short term. It wouldn't have cost him a dime to give me what was due back to me. to me its stealing. read more

I dont even have the words to express what a great expirience i had here yesterday, but I'll try anyway. First of all i have always heard of this place through the years. They have always been very active in the comunity. When my dad was sick they contributed money to his fundraiser and even let us put a jar at their register. I have always heard nice things. I also remember the owner knowing my uncle years ago and always hearing positive things about him. I came in yesterday because the cheap work pants i have been buying aren't cutting it anymore.the two ladies working took me exactly to the pants i was looking for. They both dived through piles to find the right size for me. I havent bought pants in a while and was a little nervous to say my size out loud lol. But one of the ladies reminded me that i should be proud of my beautiful curves and that the pants i chose would show them off perfectly. I left with a smile on my face and felt more confident than i had in a while. I spent half of what i had expected to pay for a real dickies pants too! Overall i was beyond satisfied. Very disappointed with working n gear. I found a very nice pair of boots on clearance $180 on sale 99.97. I received a gift card for Christmas to my surprise they do not accept gift cards online. Website says you must go to store to order to use gift card. So I go to store next state over ($4 toll) they can not order them because they are a clearance item umm what? So now I call work n gear (talk to a real nice person) Doreen she says I can accept gift card over the phone (ok wish website said that). So she goes to process oops sorry no longer available. Great! So I ask if they can do something for my inconvenience. She says sure I think we can do something, find a pair of boots and call me back. So I pick out 2 pairs of 1-$135 2nd-$130 it's time to check out she says I can give you the welcome10 discount I said wait I was already getting that online (10%) she says sorry that's the best we can do. Really! I would like to talk to a manager so 30 seconds later Doreen comes back and says we can give you 20%, no sorry manager please. Maria(the manager) gets on the phone she's very short and says 20% is the best we can do (so basically 10% because I was already getting 10%). I tell time wasted online,trip to another state bridge toll, 2 phones calls time wasted on phone 10% sorry is not acceptable. Sorry 20% is all we can do. I go to talk, she cuts me off and says well I will refund your gift card (basically telling go somewhere else). I used to always get my work uniforms here. I truly believed in shopping locally. I sent them a large amount of business. My latest experience was far from enjoyable. I was out to by a few pair of new dickies pants. Because I am on the thicker side my size went up in cost which is understandable (28.50). I went to dickies website to see what they are listing their pants for and surprisingly enough they had them on sale IN MY SIZE for 23.99. I showed the woman charging me and requested a price match. She quickly said " no we don't price match other random online stores because our particular pants are of the highest quality. " I quickly responded by showing her it was dickies actual licensed website. She then said well there are shipping costs that we don't charge here. I showed her again that dickies.com provided free shipping. Then she said well its because their sale price pertains to smaller sizes. I was getting very agitated at this point. I calmly showed her my phone and said " they are the same quality, same size, same color and from the actual clothing manufacturer and there is no shipping charges. What seems to be the problem?" She said well we don't just knock down prices because you found a better deal on the Internet. She then had the nerve to ask if she could bag the pants and I calmly said "no thank you, keep your pants" they lost my sale and the gentleman behind me after he overheard the dispute. They lost a long time customer and I will no longer refer friends and family here. It may have only been 15 dollars but that 15 dollars is a half a tank of fuel for my car. read more
