Instead she started talking about how I went out the back door yesterday. At first, I didn't even know what she was talking about because I have been exiting that door since I've been a member over two years now. So when I started to explain that to her, she frowned up her face and stated it says emergency. I replied, I know what the sign says, and I have seen several other members exit through there all the time. If you google planet fitness it states you can go to that exit door if you are parking back in which I am, so I never thought nothing of it. I don't have a problem with not using the back door since there is no sign there stating you cannot exit. I do have a problem with her approach. When dealing with the public, you should always have a smile on your face and a good rapport with people what she is lacking. Instead, she stands up there with her phone in her hand most of the time or talking among other staff members. I did call corporate and speak with customer service representatives to notify him of the situation. He did clarify some things concerning the back door and I understood clearly. He did state that her behavior was unacceptable and gave me a months free membership.

There was no continuity, no structured workout plan, and no effective system for tracking progress or performance. As a paying customer, I ended up falling behind on at least eight sessions in a single month due entirely to Fit4Life's inability to deliver scheduled services. In November, I met with the manager, who acknowledged these issues and agreed to cancel both my wife's and my memberships so we could attempt to reconcile the missed sessions. I was explicitly told that no further charges would occur. Despite this assurance, both of our accounts were charged again on Christmas Day. At that point, the situation became even more frustrating. My wife is still owed sessions but is now unable to make them up because her membership was canceled -- a decision made by management, not by us. This highlights a broader issue: there appears to be significant internal confusion and a lack of accountability within the organization. After attempting to resolve this matter privately and professionally, I formally requested a refund for the most recent month of training, citing the missed sessions, billing errors, and the satisfaction guarantee advertised on Fit4Life's own website. I also informed them that my family is relocating overseas on military orders, which further limits our ability to continue pursuing resolution in person. Despite all of this, Fit4Life has refused to issue any refund. What is most disappointing is not just the poor service, but the unwillingness of ownership or corporate leadership to step in and resolve an obvious customer service failure. At multiple points, this could have been resolved reasonably and quietly. Instead, the burden was placed entirely on the customer to absorb the cost of services that were never delivered. This review is not written lightly. I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve these issues directly before posting publicly. Unfortunately, Fit4Life has chosen not to stand behind its commitments, its satisfaction guarantee, or its responsibility to its clients. I would urge ownership or corporate leadership to review this location's practices, billing controls, and customer resolution processes. Until that happens, I cannot recommend Fit4Life to anyone -- particularly those with demanding schedules or families subject to frequent relocation.

(There are classes 6-days/week, open gym 1-day/week, AND yoga 1-day/week) I love that we don't have to book classes ahead (just show up!), there is an app that is specific to the gym to log progress, and it is close to Ft Bragg/many nearby neighborhoods for convenience. I could go on some more, but seriously just do the 7-day trial or swing by the gym to check it out first/talk to a coach. Also, find BFF on social media (IG/facebook) to get snippets of workouts, and the feel of the gym. Absolutely ridiculous, if you have personal equipment you have to take it all out of the bag and with you or walk to and from the locker room possibly losing your workout spot.
