I have belonged to Workout Anytime 24/7 about three years now and just started coming to this new location about 4 months ago. It's awesome. Best Workout Anytime in the area. I never have to wait for a treadmill (like LA Fitness) or for free weights (like American Bodyworks). They offer tanning/hydro massage and training in premium packages but I chose the basic and I paid $68 up front and $15/mo. This place is my new spot and I'm thrilled with everything so far. 5 stars. read more

I know that I said the Dunwoody location is my favorite, but I can have multiple favorites, right? I really like the Workout Anytime on Howell Mill Rd for different reasons. I don't visit this location as much, so I don't really talk to anyone (so Dunwoody has the friendliness beat), but I love the rowing machine and the bathroom here. Most of the equipment is standard across the locations (treadmills, stationary bikes, ellipticals, dumbbells, benches, squat racks, etc.) but this is the only one that seems to have a rowing machine out of the three that I visit regularly (Dunwoody, "Buckhead", and Lawrenceville/Suwanee). I get so tired of running and biking at the other locations that I really look forward to days that I can finally drive over to this location. I like showering here as well. There are privacy curtains that block off the shower area, so I don't need to worry about unintentionally offending other people by drying off outside the shower stall. I honestly could care less about anyone seeing me out of the shower, but I'm hyper-aware of how uncomfortable it can make some people... Overall, a good location. It is a bit more crowded than the other locations, but not so much that it affects my workout schedule in the morning (usually here from around 6-7 AM). read more

How is this not a Covid-19 hotspot and incubator? At least 1/4 - 1/2 of customers do not wear masks at any given time, ever. And it appears to be getting worse. As many times as I have gone shopping at the Kroger next door, I have never witness any attempts at social distancing by staff. In another review, management states that staff wears masks, but I have witnessed staff members behind the front desk not wearing any masks or protective gear at all. Also, management says they cannot force or require guests to wear masks unless it's by Georgia law, but that is untrue. Like a no shirt/no shoes/no service restaurant policy, they absolutely can. In fact, in that same shopping center, the electronics repair shop, the Subway, American Deli, and the grooming salons require face coverings, and seemingly the vast majority of the customers comply. Even Kroger itself is not very strict about enforcement, but customers get the message early and often. Many times I have been tempted to join this location as it is very convenient to where I live, but until they get their act together in this pandemic I'll stick to Apple Fitness+ and encourage others to do the same, read more

This gym is cool. I've been going here for about 2 years now and I don't have any major complaints. It is basic, so if you're looking for bells and whistles, then don't come here. But it has almost all the equipment I need (there are a few additional leg machines I would prefer and one additional incline bench) but I know that space is at a premium. Also I've never used the showers because they just don't look good AT ALL. I tend to go fairly late, and it's never busy so I'm good with that. I can get my workout in without all of the craziness at other more popular gyms at a very reasonable rate! read more

I have been trying to contact them about canceling my personal training contract for months and no one has responded to me. That process is intentionally convoluted and difficult. I no longer live in the area and would like to be able to settle this over email or the phone, but it always takes me several phone calls to even get a manager on the phone - my messages are never passed along -- and I have not gotten an email response. read more

So I belonged to this gym for about a year, and even signed up for personal training. All I can say, is this gym has a lot of issues and is not worth the convenient location. About halfway into my year, all the staff and trainers quit, leaving the gym in bad shape. Typically, when you have EVERYONE quit at once, it means something deeper is going on. Then, I went through a plethora of trainers, as most would only stay for a little over a month at this gym. By time it was time for me to end my training, I had been through 6-7 different trainers. But none of this is why I am writing this review. When it was time for my membership to end and I was moving, I was sure to follow the procedures (which required a notarized letter) to make sure my training was canceled. The gym continued to charge me for training, even after the contract expired and my request to cancel. I tried calling but no one ever answers or calls me back. I even tried to call "billing" and it took me to a different business's customer service line. The one time I did talk to someone, I was told they couldn't do anything about the issue. This is unfair to customers, who already had to endure the results of bad management throughout the year. Now they can't even follow with their own contracts and will scam you out of money. I would not write this review if they had just simply stoped billing me or called me back. Protect your money and train somewhere else. read more

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD. This club, THIS FANCHISE OWNER and ABC FINANCIAL are a MASSIVE RIP OFF. I was told when I signed up that you could cancel with not problem. I have been trying to cancel my membership for 4 years and they still keep pulling the payment every. They have stolen $1200 from me. Initially I called ABC Financial to cancel. They told me my contract stipulated that I had to go into the GYM to cancel and I couldn't by phone or online. I went to the Gym and they said that that was not the case and gave me the same # to call. I called back again, they said the notes on files said something different. I told them to listen to the recording as it states the calls are recorded. I spoke to the franchise owner and she said she would get to t0 bottom. I submitted a cancellation, and they continued to pull $25 a month. I called back again and they now had no record of my calling. I have spent hours and hours on these crooks. DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CANCEL. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE 2018. read more

I just wanted to get in my treadmill work while since was in the mood so I stopped in here thinking since this is Buckhead, the WA facility will be at least as nice as the WA I use in Stockbridge. Someof the equipment is in need of an equipment upgrade. Some of the weight training equipment seems to be new, but the cardio equipment is woeful as compared to other facilities. When I stepped on the treadmill the floor was not affixed tightly to the machine. I got scared and moved to another one only to realize that they do not have the machines hooked up to the tv. I like to watch the tv while I'm on the treadmill. I looked for the bike but I only saw a lonely bike in the corner, decided to skip the ride. I'll use this WA again but the upgrade is overdue. read more

I've been a patron at this gym for 8 months. When I first joined, the gym was clean and the staff was super friendly and amazing. The culture was very positive , welcoming, and supportive, and I made huge progress with my fitness goals because of it. I cannot say the same now. Every single staff member that made this gym enjoyable has quit, all thanks to the owner. From my experience, people do not quit jobs - people quit people. The owner treated her staff horribly. They were underpaid, robbed of their bonuses, overworked, and unappreciated. She refused to listen to her employees and ignored guests' suggestions. Drake radio was on repeat 24/7, after multiple customer requests to change it. The camaraderie that the staff had between themselves and the patrons kept me coming, even on days I didn't want to work out. Now the entire staff has quit and that environment has dissipated. The gym is dirty, disorganized, and unenjoyable. Today, there was no staff, a handful of guests, and no music. In my 8 months as a member, I have never seen the owner. Not once. Until the owner is willing to make drastic changes for the benefit of her staff and patrons, I will not be renewing my membership, which is unfortunate because this is the only gym in the area that is not CrossFit or class-only. To the owner: I hope you read this for the sake of your future staff and members. read more

First off, this gym is NOT located in Buckhead. It is located in West Midtown (south of I-75). Kind of funny they lie about the location in the name to sound classier. It's pretty cheap, and you get what you pay for. The weights and equipment is often unorganized and the staff is pretty unhelpful with seemingly simple issues (removing/fixing broken equipment, replacing stolen equipment, changing the air to a reasonable temperature, etc.). I don't usually have to wait to use equipment though, even during peak hours. Getting more and more crowded though. read more

If I could give this place 0 reviews I 100% would. I signed up for a membership being new to the area thinking they had the necessities any normal gym would have. Shortly after I was talked into doing a body evaluation which led to a sign up for "personal training" for the next 5-6 months. The person that was promised to train me only trained me 3 times until I got a new trainer because he was only in "sales" and not supposed to be actually training me which was never told to me pre signing up for this. From there I got 4 trainers who had to learn about my body type from scratch and figure out what workouts were supposed to work best for me which also never happened they just gave me random workouts to take up time. I was also promised meal plans and at home workouts which never actually came my way. When I asked about these said meal plans and at home workouts I was sent a photo of some random meal plan that was most likely found on google images or Pinterest (something I could easily do myself). Meal plans and workouts are supposed to be catered to your body type not just random plans that "work for everybody" especially when you are paying nearly $200 for personal training. For the duration of this training, I was cancelled on multiple times. The last trainer I worked with was probably the best trainer at that gym and the only good thing about it. At the end of the training I had paid all my fees (or so I thought) until I got a notification that I was charged for the training once again. Upon asking about this charge I was told that it was written in our contract that we had to mail in a cancellation letter which you would think as an establishment you would remind your customers that this reoccurring charge is going to happen unless you send in the letter. I was never reminded nor did my trainer even know about this letter. I asked multiple times to speak with the gyms Corporate office and I was essentially ghosted. I would absolutely never return to this gym nor would I recommend getting a membership here ever. Absolute disappointment to say the least. read more

As with most gyms you have to read the really fine print--which is designed to be in favor of the gym. Have been a member for many years and decided to access the personal trainer option in 2018. It's expensive. Worked out great for about 9 months until work took precedence and I was unable to attend the gym for approx 2 mos, let alone personal training. The personal training debit kept right on hitting my account. They got their money for doing nothing. I thought I'd have an opportunity to start back and make up sessions I missed. I signed a contract that is very lengthy and full of very small print paragraphs. Long and the short of it is the trainer, Virginia, told me the sessions expire 30 days after you cancel and she can see about putting back on month to month. This is where it borders as a scam. Unfortunately, it's just the unsavory stigma associated with gyms that keeps getting perpetuated by this type of behavior. No one told me about this scenario when I hand delivered my cancellation letter. Read the fine print--all of it--or don't sign. No one on staff will guide you through it. The gym is convenient to my home, so I'll continue to go regardless of their lack of integrity. C'est la vie. read more

This location is OVERCROWDED and the equipment sucks. They lie to you when you sign up telling you that the "cross fit" room will be available but they only let their friends use it. The also lie about getting certain equipment in and about the reasons for not having a squat rack. Plus there's a homeless lady that lives there and she is really gross and smelly. The shower curtain is very dirty, and it will never work for someone who wants to workout before or during a lunch break, and have thoughts of freshening up. I just want to share my story: Last month, I was visiting several gyms around my house. When I came to this gym, the staff in front desk was very helpful answering my question. But when he knew I was thinking to visit another gym to compare, he told me the other gym I was planning to visit was the same one as this. He pursued me to get membership here and told me I can use the card to go to the other gym I was planning to visit. The two gyms have very similar names, so I was convinced and I bought the membership here. Then the next day I went to the other gym (closer to my house), I couldn't go in. They staff there told me they are a completely different one than Workout Anytime. I cancelled my membership at WA right away. A month later, I found my credit card was charged both an initiation fee and a one-month-fee. I went to the gym and questioned, I was told it's because I didn't give a 30-day-notice(of course not! I canceled the next day which is 29 days not 30). The staff in charge told me he apologize for their mistake, but he couldn't refund me because the gym owner didn't give him access to. So I asked him to contact the owner for me. He told me he'll get back to me in 2 days, but he didn't. I just want to share my story with you guys. Make sure you think really really carefully before you join this gym... because I was told the wrong thing, couldn't get my money back, and nobody in gym is willing to help. read more

I've been to a lot of gyms in my day, and this has to be the worst. First off, they have very limited equipment. Second off, they make it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel your membership. They tell you to email some random company (which the email address doesn't work) to cancel. OH, but they FORGET to tell you about some 30 day notice that you have to give - so you end up paying for a month where you're not even a member. Whatever you do , do not go here . I'm only giving one star to post my review. This place is fraudulent. The current owner Mike Greene is rude and completely unprofessional. I found out that after I had canceled my membership a year later my membership was reactivated without my knowledge and from there has reoccurring charges monthly. I called the owner for an explanation and he told me that he was new and this was likely something from the previous owner , which I understood . He said this was an issue from the billing department that he would have to make a note of . I asked when I could expect a call back to follow up on this matter and then he became extremely rude. It seemed extremely shady and fraudulent so I would make sure to stay clear . There equipment was half decent . Small and many times damaged or things were missing . Proceed with caution, there are much better gyms but during this time it's best to just stay at home . read more

If you want a gym that helps you reach your goals for a low price, this seems like the place for you. Not for me. The space is too small for what they try to accomplish. There are no classes and no space that I can tell for people to conduct classes. Additionally, the payment schedule is asinine. If I seek to cancel a membership and do so before my next payment is extracted, there should be no more payments due. If you call me saying you could not put a payment through, that means you manually attempted to put payment through after I already did what I needed to do to cancel the membership. "Well we have to get a last payment to process the cancellation". That's dumb. "Well that's how we set up the business when we first opened the gym." Still dumb. Won't be back. Won't be recommending anyone. Go to the park with friends and get all these exercises in. Save your money. Convenient. That's literally the only reason I gave it two stars instead of one. read more

Just moved to the area. Just what the doctor ordered. 24/7 access and a bunch of fee weights, cardio equipment, and machine weights. Clean restrooms with showers and lockers, AWESOME! Works for me for $15 bucks a month. Would highly recommend. And I love that its right next door to Kroger and my nail shop!!! read more

I was a member at this gym which I have moved to another gym. to start the gym is very small the equipment is very limited and very dated. the gym makes you sigh atleast a year to two year contract which is stupid during the year you will be billed for gym extra charges which you wont know about until it happens. trust me no matter what if you sigh this contract will you get out of it . i stopped paying and they put me in collections . find a better gym with month to month much better read more

DO NOT get a membership here! The staff is unorganized. I am now submitting my THIRD cancellation request. I initially went to the gym to cancel in December 2016. I was convinced to just "freeze" the account for a 90 day period, and to come back to the gym within that time frame if I decided that I indeed wanted to cancel. I explained to the gentleman that I may or may not be moving & I didn't know if I would be able to make it back to the gym to cancel. He explained that I could go ahead & sign a cancellation form then, freeze the account for now, and then call back & let him know if I want to process the cancellation. So, I called in January to have them process the cancellation. It is now November 2017, and I get an email from a debt collector saying that I am past due on my ACTIVE membership with Workout Anytime. I called & spoke to Josh, who informed me that the only record they have on file is my agreement to freeze the account & that I have had an active member since MARCH. He also stated that I would need to submit ANOTHER cancellation form & bring my account current to cancel! These people are MONEY HUNGRY. They have drafted my account for EIGHT months, charged me fees, and now want yet ANOTHER cancellation submitted because they "don't have a record of one." I have NEVER had so much trouble out of trying to CANCEL a gym membership! read more
