Ron takes great care of the place... the beds are all properly maintained, new bulbs are installed on a regular basis, and all the beds are sanitized between customers. Washcloths and goggles are provided in all the lit beds, and he also has a Mystic airbrush tan for those who want a sunless tan. He is knowledgeable of new products, how to get the best tan possible, and will let you try out different beds in the store to see which one you like best and what works best for your skin. Ron has never let me burn, so I trust him with choosing the perfect amount of time for me when I start my tanning in the spring. The prices are competitive to the other salons in the area, and Ron always runs great specials which make him have the lowest prices in town! After a circular conversation that should've been simple, "I want to use my trial pass for salt therapy (as I showed a picture of the pass on my phone), then I'll decide on a membership." She still asked me for membership info. I sighed, gritted my teeth, and RE explained. Natasha had the nerve to get an attitude. Finally she got it and set me up for my session. I didn't see any people of color working there or in the lobby when I left. So my opinion which is just mine is that she wasn't listening to "me". Then got upset at the audacity of my frustration with her. Once she guided me to the salt room I wasn't offered a tour, water, a robe to change into since the salt gets all over you, NOTHING. I had to ask for my own robe. Then the session only lasts 15mins which is not enough time for any benefits. But I didn't get time to undress. She's already started my session! The salt room was then out on the LOWEST setting. What a waste of both our time. When I left I was considering a monthly membership until this lady condescendingly dismissed me by saying, "Have a nice day". Didn't ask me how was my experience, didn't ask if I wanted a membership, nothing. I smiled and left. I'll take my money where I'm appreciated. They do not take appointments and only have one bronzing bed so waiting is inevitable. The employees are under trained and had no interest resolving my issue. The manager did not call to resolve the issue, as I requested. I asked to speak with the owner regarding the customer service issue, and was told in the 2 years the employee had worked there, she saw the owner 2 times and a return call to me wasn't going to happen. She refused to allow me to use the restroom so I had to forfeit my tanning experience to drive 20 min to return home without tanning. I've requested at least 6 times with the same receptionist for a call from the manager who apparently has had a family emergency since May 18 - my bank account was debited for $65.95 which prompted my call. They were open for over 2 weeks before I received notification of their opening... which was already the original purpose of my call as I just wanted a fair adjustment for time paid that I was not able to utilize. Because the receptionist and manager have given me the run around and put me off with the return calls requested, I am now demanding my money back for the unprofessionalism and lack of concern. If they are so worried about their employees, constructing a pitiful plexiglass and closing restrooms to the clientele serves no real protection at all. If they are so worried they would simply close their doors.
