My second month at the Toco Hill location. I arrived at the studio at 12:05 for my noon class. put my gear in cubby and went to front desk and gave my name. the new general manager looked at me and said "it's 12:06 and the cut off time for being late is 12:05."In None of the literature I've been sent I have ever read this rule. I have seen suggestions that you try and arrive 15 minutes before your class but not the 5 minute rule. I can't control the traffic and the street repair in my neighborhood caused me to wait for my lane of traffic to move. but one minute!? I looked online for a way to reach out to the management but could find no links. I am very unhappy to lose my $30+ for a one minute error. I hope they see this and contact me. I love this studio! I've been going here for about over a year now, the instructors are awesome and patient as you learn. Please arrive 15 mins early if you're new or otherwise as it sets you up for success. I really enjoy my time here and the great community. There is ample of parking around the studio and it is located inside the plaza. There are EV chargers at some spots in the plaza. There's also a great variety of healthy food options around and a Whole Foods which allows for trip chain. This location also offers club Pilates merch. I highly recommend this location. read more

I was excited to find Pilates where I could grow my practice; however, after going to the intro class, I was very put off. The instructor was crass and very condescending- rude but in a nasty-nice way. She referred to speaking to a room filled with adults as a "kindergartener." This into class is truly a waste of time. I've taken Pilates for several years now, and the corrections and instruction provided in the class could have been given in a regular 1.0 or 1.5 class. I appreciate the studio trying to ensure everyone is safe and properly trained; however, their approach is way off. After 30 minutes, we were forced to listen to what felt like an infomercial about the studio. I felt like I was in a seminar for a timeshare. Anyway, if you are familiar with Pilates, do not go to the studio in Decatur. read more

If you are looking for a Pilates studio that actually does Pilates like you see on Instagram or everywhere else this is not the Pilates studio for you. This is basic one oh1 Pilates even when you take 1.5 classes they are not traditional Pilates classes it is very basic. You don't really get to use the equipment much the only staff at Decatur that is absolutely amazing is Tamara and her classes are extremely hard to get, the rest of the staff is good but you will come to class and do the exact same thing every single time you come to class and it doesn't matter which instructor. Toco Hills location has better staff who actually does Pilates but they cancel classes often so in terms of quality I would not say this is the best quality studio but I will say it's definitely something to get you started if you're into basic things Decatur location basically just has one instructor does most of the classes and if you're not into her style of doing things, then you will have a hard time finding great classes shout out to Tamara, but this is not it read more

I initially thought it would be a great idea to add pilates to my regimen as part of my physical therapy and it was before I actually signed up with them. There were technical issues on their end from the very beginning. They couldn't process payment and their app never worked for me to schedule classes. Every time I called to rectify the issue it was never taken care of. The lack of communication and follow through is astounding to say the least. I only attended two sessions and they continued to charge me. Their billing department is the most unprofessional set of people I've ever spoken to. Customer service with this company is in desperate need of some work. They're extremely nice and accomodating until you actually sign up. Then the place got dirty, teachers were frustrated, went to cancel / then cancellation not on file - paid several months i did not feel reasonable. Just ridiculous. Club Pilates Decatur has been fantastic since opening! The front desk staff and instructors are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to what classes you should take and how often to come in to do pilates. My body feels amazing. I'm more of an early morning starter so the 6am and 7:30am time slots work best for me! If you prefer to start later they have classes those evening classes as well! Let me start by stating that the actual instructors are excellent. My issue is with administration. I signed up for the monthly membership. I had a family emergency pop up and couldn't go. I continued to pay my fees for months without issue. I reached out to cancel but kept getting a voicemail. I finally got in touch with someone and explained my situation. I had to go in person to cancel. Okay. Then I got covid. I called and let them know. They still asked me to go in person to cancel even though I had covid. They said I needed to pass Friday, the latest, so that the cancellation can go through before the next billing cycle. I did. Well, my card got charged. I was dealing with my father dying of cancer. I disputed the charge with my credit card company. Didn't hear anything again until I received one email stating I owed $205. Then another for $504. When I called I was told that my cancellation was never processed. Also, they will not honor the exemption for the 30 day cancellation notice that was promised by their employee because she wasn't the manager. How is that my problem? They said they would process my cancellation and speak to the owner. That was over 2 weeks ago. I'm still getting charged. I researched and Club Pilates has been sued before due to membership cancellation issues. DO NOT GO HERE. Find a small business (this is franchise) who understands how to properly run a business. read more

I loved having this new club close to home and being able to pick classes to take most days of the week. I'm hoping for more choices daily but finding options most days. I do think it's good to have some Pilates knowledge to start these classes in order to really protect your body because it is hard for the teachers to really see if your not in good posture for the movements so if you're new to Pilates consider taking a few privates to learn some good postures. All in all, I love this Club Pilates! Update on my review...I asked repeatedly, as did a few others, if hooks or a bench could be added to the bathroom, to make it easier to change into work out clothes after work, and they just never did it. That is a huge risk for people who are unstable on their feet and the bathroom only gets cleaned once or twice a week so I can imagine anyone wants to set their things on the floor to change. The gym is not kept very clean either. When you are on the reformers you can see all the dust and hair beneath you on the floor and the machine. There is high teacher turnover, too, because I really don't think the teachers are very happy with the way things are run either. My three favorite teachers left. I went in to cancel my membership and now am told there is no cancellation on file. Of course no front desk person ever was there before the first class of the day (a teacher always fumbling to get the doors open last minute) so I wasn't able to have Avery process my cancellation and whoever did it obviously did not do it correctly. The place is just not run well. It could he great option in the community and I'm very sad it didn't work for me. I sure rich someone else who cared more about keeping a clean gym and keeping good teachers would have been the one to open this franchise so close to me. I really wanted to like Club Pilates Decatur. I was a member at Club Pilates Toco Hills, and was very excited about having a studio closer to where I live. But customer service and communication is uneven, at best, and I couldn't let a friend experience that. 1. I've signed up for classes that were canceled without notice to me. 2. I signed up for a class with two staff members at the front desk, never got a confirmation, then couldn't reach anyone by phone to see if I was confirmed. 3. I arrived recently for a 9 am Saturday class, and the studio was closed. Club members milled around outside, waiting for someone to show up. The instructor arrived 5 minutes late and let us in, but the class felt unfocused and rushed. 4. Twice, front desk staff said as I entered, "I have to take your picture." When I declined, they rudely barked, "It's policy." My face, my choice, I thought, as I walked away. They do a hard sell when you attend a free introduction course (that's how I joined at Toco Hills). I get it. There's lots of competition out there. But membership isn't cheap, and unless they improve the Decatur experience for current members, I"m out. read more

This studio is small but mighty. There are a lot of different classes to choose from & the biggest class is only 12 ppl, so the instructors really get to focus on you & your needs. The staff is very friendly & will work with you for whatever it is you're needing, it's just a matter of communicating with them. I LOVE the classes! Never overexerting myself. I have had a horrible experience at Club Pilates. I attended the grand opening free class. I really enjoyed it. I was really excited to start classes and signed up for a monthly package. Once I started taking their actual full length classes I was very disappointed. I tried multiple instructors and different styles of classes. They were not at all like the opening class and I was very disappointed. When I signed up for the package, I specifically asked the sales associate if I could cancel anytime. She assured me that I could cancel even though the contract stated that it was a 3 month agreement. When I tried to cancel after the first month they told me that I was stuck in a 3 month contract. The sales girl lied to me. They apparently will tell you anything in order to sell you a package and will not honor their word. This has been a terrible experience and I wish I had never gone in for their grand opening class. read more

This place is a sham. They advertised a free class on Facebook so my friend and I signed up. When we got there we were told it actually wasn't a class but a demo of the machines which really rubbed both of us the wrong way. After a demo of the machines there was a lot of pressure to buy a pack of classes. The manager told me I could buy a 4 pack of classes to try out club pilates. What he failed to tell me was he signed me up for a monthly membership! They have been charging me every month for 4 months without my permission. To be fair, they sent me an email saying they would charge me monthly but I didnt read over it because I thought it was a receipt for a one time payment which is what we discussed in person. They also never notified me before or after any subsequent transactions. This place is so sketchy and i really feel like I have been scammed. If it was a good place to work out they wouldn't have to rely on such misleading sales and marketing practices read more
