I called to find out about exchanging it, and learned that there's a 25% charge to exchange a new item. This means that for a $250 dollar chair, I'll be paying $60 to exchange it and buy a more expensive chair. This really does not sit right with me. I think a policy unusual like that it needs to be verbally stated to the customer prior to sale. This policy pretty much sours my good feelings about TOPS; to return a new item with tags on two days after purchase, for an exchange, should not cost 25%. Management should consider the impact of this policy on customer feelings.

The new V3 C-Frame is a noticeable improvement in stability over my old V2 C-Frame, especially when at standing height. Shipping was extremely fast as well. I placed my order at 2:30pm on a Thursday and it shipped same-day! As an added bonus, since I live in the same state that Uplift is based in (Texas), my desk was delivered the next day, Friday at 1:50pm. That's less than 24 hours from purchase to delivery! Assembly of the new V3 frame was also a breeze. It took me maybe 2-3 hours to assemble, but I had a few extra accessories to install and I took my time to cable manage everything well. Walked back to Office Depot, purchased my Sharpie Gel pens then returned to my car to find an AGGRESSIVE man waiting at my car, a BOOT on my tire and he Demanded $100 to remove it. I genuinely felt threatened. Despite being a customer of OFFICE DEPOT they demanded the money from me. I can't believe Office Depot partners with A Predatory , Aggresive towing/booting company of this nature. I felt their curbside delivery was a bit slow compared to the order fulfillment acknowledgements. At the same time, it was tax-free back-to-school weekend there was a a steady if slow stream of foot traffic while I waited the 10 minutes or so for my order to be brought out. I got a steal of a deal on the masks, which made it well-worth the wait. I'm not sure what the in-store experience is like, but I am happy enough to try them again.
