We recently hired World Class Concrete, led by Cesar Hernandez, for a residential project and were very pleased with the results. The crew was communicative, punctual, and clear about the process from start to finish. Their craftsmanship was solid, and the final finish was clean, even, and professionally done. The project was completed quickly--from agreement to completion, everything moved efficiently and without delays. Throughout the project, everyone maintained a professional attitude and followed the agreed specifications. We appreciated their straightforward communication and the respect they showed for my property during excavation and cleanup. I would definitely recommend this team for quality concrete work at a fair price.

World Class Concrete did an excellent job with our paving project in our front yard. They had the best estimate, showed up on time and were very respectable and open to last minute changes. They worked very efficiently and added approximately 1000 sq ft of asphalt in one day! I would recommend you give them a call for your paving project.

As usual, World Class concrete has lived up to its name. Congratulations. Will be calling for more work in the near future.

Cesar and his team did an amazing job in my backyard! Very professional with extremely reasonable prices. After asking multiple contractors for quotes, Cesar's was by far the best priced for the job that was done. He kept in communication with me at all times and left everything looking tidy and clean. The job took 3 days to complete and the final results are EXCEPTIONAL. I still have more concrete to put on my house and Cesar is my go-to person from now on. Thank you Cesar for your hard work and for making my backyard beautiful.

We had a tree removed in the middle of our slab stone patio. Cesar was able to match and cover the area perfectly! Literally like that tree was never there. Thrilled with him and his work. Highly recommend!

The team showed up as expected, the owner were very communicative, and the concrete slab came out great. Will do business with again

Cesar and his team are awesome to work with. Professional, high level of integrity, always willing to go the extra mile. Quality of their work is excellent. I have now completed three large concrete projects with them and despite obtaining quotes from a number of companies, I end up with World Class Concrete every time - competitive pricing, trusted workmanship and commitments made are commitments kept! Projects: concrete patio and walkway around the house; 250ft retaining wall; 20x25 ft slab with retaining wall.

    AFTER

Caesar and his men are the BEST! From the very beginning to the very end, it was all very positive. I called around to different concrete companies and Caesar answered his phone the first time. I realize that's not how you choose, but it was a nice touch. He came out the next day and I immediately liked him and could tell he would be easy to work with. The one thing he mentioned in the beginning without me asking is that he always left the work area neat and tidy. That's very nice when there is a lot of dirt and concrete around. Caesar used my sketched out idea and made my front yard come to life!! He and his team constantly mentioned they wanted me happy and I was the boss, and it was with kind sincerity. I need to pinch myself when I see my front yard. I look forward for them to do my backyard!

World Class concrete added a 15'x60' driveway to the front of my home. We needed a driveway for extra parking of out trailer and boat. From the first day, World Class Concrete was easy to work with. He went down to the city, filed all necessary paperwork for the permits and had everything approved. All together the whole operation with permits and an approach to the driveway from the city street took less than a few weeks. I also received three quotes total from three different concrete contractors, World Class concrete was the most reasonable and seemed to be the most reliable. World Class concrete is highly recommended for all your concrete projects!

Cesar is the best. From the start he was very informative, straight forward and quick. I also got several quotes and theirs was the best. He made a 9'x24' patio and I turned out excellent. Now we have a hang out/work out spot in the sun. I will definitely be using world class concrete for all of my future work.

I highly recommend RJF Concrete Construction and owner Robert J. Fiscalini Jr. (408-710-530)…read more Robert is an excellent listener and provided thoughtful recommendations and modifications that were cohesive, well-integrated, and fully aligned with my architectural vision. He is very cost-effective and conscientious about keeping costs under control without ever compromising quality or integrity. RJF brings an old-school mentality in the best sense--smart, hardworking, and detail-oriented, making sure every "T" is crossed and every "I" is dotted. The crew was well managed, professional, and demonstrated strong work ethics with consistent attention to quality. Robert has deep knowledge of all facets of concrete finishes and applications, passed down through this second-generation family business. Trust, ethics, and standards are extremely high, and he made sure the finished product was nothing short of perfect. The job was well planned and executed, even under difficult weather conditions. In summary, I would confidently recommend RJF Concrete Construction for all concrete, masonry, and architectural finish work--both new pours and remodels. This is a contractor you can fully trust from start to finish. Thank you, Robert, and thank you to your entire crew.

The drainage slope of the pad was important to me due to potential flooding issues and past history of this area of the property, so I had specific instructions and desires about how I wanted the water to run off half the pad in a certain direction and the other half of the pad in a somewhat more complicated manner so it would end up in my driveway drain. This water management would avoid potential flooding of the garage. The torrential rains have arrived, and the performance of the runoff is absolutely perfect and channeling off exactly as intended. I couldn't be happier. The concrete is still crack free and the lift is installed and functioning well; also very happy events. Thank you RJF for your professionalism; this is a great addition.

They ruined and broke numerous branches while admitting that these plants are very delicate. They rushed the job that should have been at least two hours and finished in one hour. I should have stopped them after the owner told me to go inside and they will let me know when they were done. You never tell someone that's paying you $500 dollars to take your time and do a professional job to go inside. I should have told him to get the F off of my property and hired someone else. I would have been better off hiring men from Home Depot. Totally unprofessional, rushed the job, ruined a couple of plants and didn't give a shit how it looked, even after I showed the owner the damaged plants and all the broken branches only to find more as the branches dried out in the weeks to come. He tells me the plants are delicate, but yet they didn't treat them that way. I will never hire this unprofessional company again and recommend that you don't hire them either. They have plenty of help to do a good job, but refuse to do so. This was a total rip off job to the tune of $500. I'm so sorry I hired this clown to do this job, every time I look at what they did it makes me sick and pissed that I didn't throw them off my property and paid them nothing. I've waited weeks to write this review, in hopes that the job would look better, but it doesn't. Thanks a lot, KAY GREEN LANDSCAPING FOR DOING A SHITTY JOB AND TELLING ME TO GO INSIDE. I got a couple of quotes through Yelp, but ultimately decided to go with Kay Green -- and I'm so glad I did. It took Young and his crew about a day and a half to complete the project. We ran into a few unexpected issues during the project, but Young was always upfront about what was happening and communicated his solutions clearly. His recommendations were thoughtful and turned out great. I would definitely use Kay Green again for any future landscaping projects and will happily recommend them to family and friends!

Foundation Repair of CA (FRC) is the most disreputable, dishonest company I've ever encountered. I…read morehired them because I didn't want to hire the lowest bidder for a change, and I regret it. I wouldn't sign the contract when told I'd have to do my own masonry repair until sales agent Jesse Marquez showed me FRC corporate material that indicated the brick facade would be removed with a masonry saw, in an approximate 2x2' square. That was false and deceptive advertising. This is what they did to my house. No masonry saw was used, only impact drills, which act as small jackhammers. FRC significantly damaged the entire brick facade, adjacent areas showed extensive cracking, entire areas had the brick facade knocked completely off the house, and the wall foundation was separated from the brick wall entirely. I told the work crew, headed by Luis, to stop using impact wrenches on the bricks immediately, then told them TWICE. Not only did they not stop, despite direct STOP work orders, they then took all of the bricks they'd destroyed, which legally is theft, called conveyance. Jesse Marquez explained that the bricks were so old they'd shattered. Luis returned the bricks after Jesse Marquez called, ignoring my several phone calls and texts. Jesse texted that the bricks were so old they'd shattered. Luis returned them, none were shattered, all were broken by the impact drills. Luis confirmed, texting that the bricks were "broken". They took the bricks to hide the damage. The day FRC received my Contractor's State Licensing Board complaint, FRC messaged that someone would come to assess the damage for repairs, and FRC would repair the masonry they'd destroyed. They first sent Robert Pagan, who acknowledged both that there were no masonry saw marks, and that the damage was excessive. According to FRC, Jesse stated Robert hadn't said this. It wasn't until I pointed out he'd said it while standing in front of a Ring camera did that lie die. FRC then sent Troy Knight, who acknowledged the same, and stated he was there to help, and would see that the masonry was repaired and more. I have several texts, voicemails and emails from FRC stating they will complete the job. They never did. FRC employee Mike Crites was sent to perform the repairs. He returned the following week with the wrong sized bricks in the wrong color, and proceeded to do more damage. This is the work that they did. FRC employee Mike Crites initially stated that he had retired as a mason, he later revised that statement, saying he'd only worked with pavers and concrete. The work performed was so substandard, FRC sent Jovincio, who was the only honest person in my entire dealings with FRC. Jovencio said he wasn't a mason, but had "some training". Jovencio replaced the work done by Mike Crites. This is Mike's effort, and Jovincio's replacement work. The work performed is clearly substandard and unacceptable. FRC acknowledged the workers sent lacked the skills, training and necessary certifications to perform masonry repairs. When I requested that FRC send a mason, and included photos of the work, FRC responded that they'd done me a favor; the workers sent were a courtesy. The very clause they'd ignored (and invalidated) by removing the bricks was cited. That they would do no more, leaving me with the bill for their damage. This is what they left. I obtained a second quote to repair the deficient masonry 'work' FRC workers had done - without a REQUIRED permit, with no mortar pins, odd-sized and broken bricks mortared in randomly, mortar lines that range from non-existent to more than an inch. Crites' also removed the brick facade foundation in several sections, replacing it with sloppy concrete. This is a code-violating 'repair' that is neither plumb nor square. The legitimate mason company from whom I obtained a repair quote updated the quote, which has nearly doubled BECAUSE of the 'repairs' performed by the unqualified FRC employees. FRC called this doing me a favor, saying the inept crew was sent as a 'courtesy'. This is not doing me a favor, this is not a courtesy, this is at best fraud. After signing the contract (under false pretenses), Jesse insisted I needed an additional pier ($3,155) because piers can no longer be placed under a window. A pier was placed under the window. Two other piers were not placed according to the county approved structural engineering ($1,850) diagram. Half the piers were installed in the wrong places, apparently according to Luis' whims. Yesterday Groundworks gave an estimate on properly placing those piers. That's how I learned that the improperly placed piers had lifted a joist completely off its foundation supports. This, too, will require additional expense to correct, before it damages my house - literally to the roof. I should have stuck with Groundworks. This is your cautionary tale - no one who values integrity, ESPECIALLY senior women, shouldn't hire FRC.
