I had great experiment working with All One Landscape in last 2 months. Our project was started at the beginning of Sep. 2022 as promised and most of things moved forward as scheduled. We made many small changes and ad-hoc requests and Steve was able to accommodate them with reasonable approaches. The team are very helpful. For instance, one time we'd like to change the design of the fence which might not be the best idea after completion. This is a long overdue review, but i was compelled to write one recently. All One Landscaping is a rare bird. Steve and his crew really care about producing quality work and the customer experience. When we moved into our home we had a dirt lot. Creating a comfortable and functional backyard was going to be a big task. We reached out to a number of landscapers but Steve was the most responsive and straightforward. He gave us a clear reasonable quote and great feedback about our ideas. It really felt like he genuinely cared. With his quote and great customer service we decided to book All One. The project was a big one and took several weeks. It included over a thousand feet of pavers, pergola, retaining wall, grass, fireplace, everything and the kitchen sink. Steve was extremely approachable and always sided with the customer. We had a few hiccups, like with any big project, but Steve quickly resolved the issues. When something new came up, he came to us quickly and worked with us to make a fair adjustment. Overall, besides being really busy an taking a few extra followups, it was a good experience working with Steve and the results were excellent. It's been over a year now and everything it still in great shape. We love our backyard! I was compelled to write this review because during all the rain we had a couple of months ago, part of our electrical went out. After doing a bit of poking around I realized it was in the wiring which was installed close to a year ago so we reached out to Steve, half expecting to not get a call or say it's been too long. Amazingly, Steve responded quickly and was very apologetic. He stated he stands by his work and had an electrician out a day later. The electrician was extremely kind and vowed to fix the issue. After that visit we had more epic rain but no issues came up. It was fixed! One summary: All One Landscape is the best contractor I have encountered so far. They listen to you. Since we moved into our new home, we are desperate to do something to our challenging backyard. We have a decent size backyard but it has a slope so it is hard for human to walk. That makes it a paradise for weeds, and wild deers/foxes family. We knew the backyard renovation won't be easy due to the slope, limited assess to backyard and scope of the project (whole renovation). I personally did a lot researches on retaining walls, drainage for house on slope and so on. I interviewed multiple contractors and Steve stood out because of his patience. First, his estimates is the most detail itemized one. Secondly, Steve will listen to my requests and edit the quote accordingly. Because I only have the budget to do a portion of project, I have to add or delete items based on his quote. He worked with me and changed the estimated around 3 times. Later on, when the project started, his brother, Ruben, became the main person in charge of daily field work. Let me provide you the other side of the story. "Cannot speak to the quality of the work." Yes, I did get a reference from the neighbor. However, I do not write reviews for businesses based on the work the company has done for my friends or neighbors - same way I do not write reviews about restaurants when my friends tell me they had great food at some restaurant! Point is, this review was not about the work - may be your company would have done great work if they ever bothered responding about what the issue was (more on this below)! Regarding your company never getting deposit from me. - Your response to my review is even more frustrating! READ your own contract (and for convenience I am also posting the picture). There is NO mention of deposit anywhere. Even the email that was sent along with contract from your company - the email CLEARLY said that first payment is due at the first day of the project. There was NEVER any mention of any deposit in all the conversations we have ever had!! I had sent the signed contract back months before the start of the project. Having said that, I wanted to find out more. So I did dig up my emails and as it turns out, someone from your office had sent a single email asking for deposit after couple of weeks of me sending the signed contract back. The email was laying among many junk emails and yes this is completely my fault. However, arguably, the signed contract clearly laid out the plan for payments without any mention of deposit and then outside of this binding contract, I am being asked months before for non-refundable deposit which is not even mentioned in the contract! Even then, I would have never had issue paying this deposit if I had read the email or someone had at least reached out that I was missing the deposit. There was never any follow up call about this. I had messaged you personally many times about if we are good to start the project and I had called your office. There was NOT even a single response from any one of you that there was an issue with deposit and this project was not happening. This is the whole point of review. If one of you had ever mentioned that "hey we never got deposit and that is why we are canceling the project" instead of making me think for months that we are good with project, I would not have even bothered coming here. My husband and I have been waiting to update our front and backyard patios since we moved into our house five years ago and we couldn't be happier with the end result. Tired of my front yard being the neighborhood eyesore, I decided to have four neglected planter areas overhauled. I wanted the existing plants pulled out, new weedblocker and mulch put in, and drip irrigation installed. This would allow me to put in new plants on my own at some point in the future. I found All One through Yelp. Steve was my contact person, and he came over within a few days to give me a quote. The quote was reasonable and included the cost of concrete cutting and repair to run the drip line under the driveway to reach a planter area on the other side. In hindsight though, I'm not sure why they had to cut the driveway instead of tunneling underneath it (we have a single car-width driveway, so it's not wide). After I accepted the quote, All One began work three weeks later. Ruben and his crew were able to finish the job in one day, and they told me there was a 30-day warranty for irrigation work. What went well during the job: * I had a last-minute request for a master valve to be installed for the drip system. I was also particular about the layout of the piping for visual appearances. The crew was happy to accommodate my requests * There was a lot of leftover mulch that would be discarded, and the crew let me keep it * The plants seem to have been dug up thoroughly; only one rose root regrew and started poking through the weedblocker What was not so good: * The crew was not told that I wanted the existing plants removed, so they spent unnecessary time pruning them until I corrected them * The weedblocker and mulch were installed a couple feet shy of the property line, which I had to point out * As I would find out later, the weedblocker was not installed completely up to the sidewalk, so I occasionally find a stray weed growing in that uncovered spot * Not all mulch was raked up, and there was a bunch of it still on the lawn at the conclusion of the job * There's a 5% fee for paying by credit card * As I would discover later, an existing pipe was broken during the job, rendering half the sprinklers in my lawn unusable The broken pipe caused the most headache. It's something that the crew should've tested for before leaving. I contacted Steve, but I had to wait a while due to him dealing with personal issues (which is understandable). After 3 weeks, I escalated to the owner, and he had Ruben out two days later to fix the pipe. The job was half a year ago and my yard still looks great, so all's well that ends well. But there were too many issues around the job that I wish I didn't have to correct, so hopefully the company is able to improve their service for future customers. read more

We hired Steve and his team to redo our outdoors this summer and have been very pleased with the results. Our project was pretty large and required Steve's team to basically remove everything from our existing yards and build a couple of new paver patios, add grass and irrigation, and build a planter bench. I got a few different quotes and Steve's was in line with others. Additionally his quote was pretty detailed and he was very responsive to our many questions and clarifications. We had a few changes throughout the project and decided to add a driveway. Once work started they were quick and managed to get both our front and back yards in just over a week, working on a Saturday morning to complete. When we accidently got the wrong rose trees, they went back to the nursery and got us the right ones. Due to the fact that we were moved up in the schedule we didn't get much of a chance to discuss plants with them, but went to the nursery ourselves to pick what we liked. This meant we got exactly what we wanted, but probably didn't end up with the best plants if we were going for drought tolerance. We had a path installed in the front and they laid it out just as we wanted with the pavers in the shape we specified. They were very good about getting our input before doing anything and for the one time they didn't, they fixed it for us. The end result was a fantastic new path that we love! Steve and his crew did a fantastic job for my font and backyard project. This was not a small project as it was a complete update that was long overdue. Steve was very knowledgable and provided guidance and suggestions on what I had envisioned. The back yard was done 3/4ths in pavers for a hard surface to play basketball and 1/4 a nice golf putting green. Both were done perfectly with attention to detail.
