Sorry, a little late on the review...However, I tasked Amanda for ANOTHER adventure, a family…read moreGreek adventure in June and she did not disappoint! We wanted to do a 7-day cruise on Virgin Voyage but also wanted to spend some time in Athens prior to the cruise. First off, we have 2 adult children living in 2 different states. I wanted to be able to meet somewhere and then fly together to Greece. It was great that she was able to coordinate the different flights, time zones, etc to get us all there. We all met in Toronto and was able to fly together to Greece. Once there, the hotel she chose was fantastic! Centrally located in the City, the Acropolis view from hotel room and restaurant were amazing. The cruise was amazing and the suites she got us and the kids were perfect! Although we had separate rooms, we shared a balcony and it was on the correct side of the ship so we were able to see ports as we arrived. The transports she coordinated from the airport to the hotel, and then to the embarkation, and then back to the airport was very satisfying as I did not have to worry about timelines and/or standing in line for transportation. She was even able to have flight times back to the USA from Athens so we were able to have a "last final" together at the airport before returning on separate flights. There is no way I could've done this on my own and we are all thankful for Amanda's expertise!

Our family have been using Amanda's skill for a few years now. The latest adventure was a 9 day UK…read moretour and then a 3 day Paris / Disney to celebrate my wife's and I 30th Anniversary. From the beginning Amanda has always been responsive to my inquiries, is very patient as I had 20 questions on the different tours and wanted to make sure it was the right one. She has great insights and gave fantastic recommendations. The final UK tour was fantastic, we had a great tour guide, very energetic and she made sure everyone knew where to go and knew where to be. She also made herself available 24/7. There were a lot of moving parts to this trip. And even though we were in a different time zone, Amanda made herself available for us when I had questions or if there was an unexpected schedule change. She never failed to respond to any of my questions. This gave us peace of mind knowing that Amanda was there with answers! The wife and I have always felt that Amanda was our "Personal Travel Agent" because that's how she makes you feel!

They gave me the vaccines I needed…read more They def fear-mongered up the various diseases, even after I explained I was going to urban centers in India and Thailand and wasn't gonna eat street foods or go to the rural areas and get bitten by insects. Price was a bit high for US, but I suppose you're coming here for convenience. Reminder to those in a budget: you can get vaccines internationally at many airports and hospitals (walk in) and pay a cash price that's around 10-30% the US price... the US medical system is kinda a profit machine (vs. public service internationally).

During the visit, I was informed for the first time that recommended vaccines would cost over $400 per vaccine and they do not take insurance...(I should have just gone to Cvs/Walgreens) These prices were not disclosed online, at the time of booking, or prior to the appointment. I declined the vaccines due to the unexpected cost. There was also no indication prior to or during booking that there was a separate $125 consultation fee, nor was I informed that declining vaccines would result in any charge. Passport Health already had my credit card on file due to holding the appointment and stated that I would be charged if I did not proceed with the vaccines. They charged my card a $100 "cancellation fee" for not moving forward with the vaccines. No consultation, guidance, or actionable travel health information was provided during the visit.

If you're looking for something fun to do in Northern Nevada, I can't recommend the Chollar Mine…read moreTour enough! Our tour guide, Gary, absolutely made the experience! He has an incredible knowledge of Virginia City and Northern Nevada history, but he shares it in a way that's engaging, funny, and easy to follow. His sense of humor was the perfect mix of clever and classic jokes, which kept both the adults and the kids entertained! Before we even stepped into the mine, Gary sat us under a tree and told the story of Virginia City and The Comstock Load. I've lived in Northern Nevada for years, and he still taught me things I had never heard before! It was a great reminder of just how much fascinating history we have right here in our own backyard. I also appreciated how patient and thoughtful he was with everyone in our group, especially the children and those who needed a little extra time walking through the mine. He made sure everyone felt included. As a bonus, Gary is also an author! I ended up buying one of his books (I collect children's books for my office), and he has written other books too. I may have to buy the others with my next visit. Whether you're visiting from out of town, or you've lived here for years, the Chollar Mine Tour is absolutely worth experiencing. We had a wonderful time and plan to come back with more friends and family! p.s. Ask for a ghost story or two!
