Fun store! Great Oregon souvenirs to be found here at this Clackamus Town Center mall location. There was a big foot or sasquatch plushy in the window display and I immediately photographed it. Lots of cool Oregon and Portland stuff from greeting cards, postcards magnets, mugs, clothing, chocolates, candies, spices, blankets, wine, home goods and yes, a whole sasquatch section! Lol! They have plushies of Oregon's official state animal which is the beaver. It is also the mascot for Oregon State University. The young lady at the register was nice and friendly. I spent about $42 here and it's awesome that Oregon does not charge sales tax. (In my local area in California, sales tax is 10.25 percent!) We also saw a Made in Oregon store at the PDX Airport. If visiting again, I would return to this mall location or another 4 stars! read more

This store is great for souvenirs, gifts for out of state family, postcards and local foods. The cashiers provide good customer service and are pleasant to talk to. They have a wide selection of Oregon postcards -- not just the typical tourist postcards but also illustrated postcards from local artists and postcards from Lantern Press. I wish I would have thought to look there when I started swapping postcards on Postcrossing. The prices for the Smith Western postcards are some of the lowest in the area -- cheaper than getting them at tourist attractions. They also have stickers and illustrated greeting cards that are Oregon themed. I agree that the food selection isn't what it used to be. I was able to find some teas that aren't available anywhere else. It's also convenient to go in and find a curated selection of Oregon made foods (moose munch, Portland ketchup etc.) when I don't have the time for a Fred Meyer visit. But the candy selection isn't what it used to be. I wish that the store took returns for online purchases and that there was more space between the aisles. Overall, I really like this store and am glad it's in the mall. read more

We came here most recently because we had family visiting from out of state on a road trip. I thought it would be nice to give them some treats from Oregon to enjoy on their travels. I have to say I was disappointed with the variety of food items. They used to have a lot more selection and now it's very small, with most of the space used for clothing and trinkets. I'm not into giving people more stuff that they just have to toss later and prefer consumable goods they can just enjoy. Lots of wines to choose from, but who doesn't carry plenty of Oregon wines? If you look at an item you don't get many brand choices, let alone flavor options. It's nothing like the website, that's for sure (I've ordered plenty of times there to have shipped). It's okay, but I've had more options at smaller places in Oregon. So I'll leave off with this - you'll probably find something that suits your needs even if it's not really what you had in mind, but expect a hefty pricetag. Now, I've been to the Made In Oregon store at Clackamas Town Center, and I must say, I cannot find any more good and positive things to say about it. First of all, there are all these really neat things that are made in Oregon itself (such as the cheese from Tillamook and salmon, as well as the honey in the small, bear-shaped plastic jars). They're pretty cool, and I find them to be a good change from all those things that say "Made in China" and can be found in typical tourist shops. Then, there are the lovely things made of myrtle wood, such as the cats. They are lovely to look at, as well as very inspiring. Another thing I like at the Made In Oregon store is the books. Being a bookworm, I like all those books about Oregon that are just right, especially about the Sasquatch (or Bigfoot, as he is sometimes called). When it comes to the Made In Oregon store, I agree with the saying of "Support Your Local Business" too. Finally, I highly recommend the Made In Oregon store to anyone who likes the Beaver State. And I give it five stars as well (although ten stars would be even better). read more

There isn't really anything special about this Made In Oregon compared to other MIO stores I've been to... COVID has greatly reduced the product assortment compared to normal and it didn't seem the same as other stores. It's OK for some products, but it wasn't much different than what you can get from Freddy's or other stores. read more

I came in here to return some food items the day after I purchased it and the lady at the counter was too busy talking to another customer before me and when she could be bothered to talk to me she interrupted me as I tried to explain my situation. Very rude. Their return policy for food should be stated CLEARLY at point of purchase before payment , however it is stated on the receipt which defeats the purpose because I already bought the item! I'm never shipping here again. read more

We spent quite a bit of money here on food items as a gift (food items being sealed olive oil and salt) and I found out the person I bought them for already had them. When I tried to return them they told me they won't return "food items." They never mentioned this or had it posted anywhere. Never ever shopping here again. This is the last straw. I'm done with this store and their unprofessional unacceptable behavior towards their customers. They disgust me. read more

While some items are made in Oregon, many are made elsewhere. I was willing to pay a premium to reward the owners for limiting there selections to only"made in Oregon items. But to my surprise, under the statically placed labels many items read "made in China". The dishonesty makes sick to my stomach. Perhaps they should add the word "some" to the beginning of their name. read more

Support your local business ! I will say it again support your local business. While killing time and purchasing items I needed for my trip I left behind at home I stumbled upon the busy and massive SE 82nd street shopping corridor. Made my entry into the Clackamas Town Center. While in the mall I headed into the"Made In Oregon" store since I am a visitor. Unlike a typical tourist shop where all the products are tacky and or made in China, all of the items in this store are made in the entire state from natural resources. Even the tee shirts and other apparels are made in the USA. You will find all products that represent Oregon. Items you will find are Pacific Northwest Jerky, Canned and Smoked Salmon. Jewelry, beauty products like lotion, and soap, Native American jewelry, merchandise made from pine trees, and various mementos. No visitors to Oregon should by pass this store while touring the state. There are a total of four stores within the Portland area and two in the Portland International Airport. read more

The items sold there are great. Customer service is NOT. I have been in twice before and did not receive a friendly greeting, while other customers did. Rude, yes. But not enough to keep me from going back. Saturday, April 2, 2016, mid afternoon, my husband and I went into this location to spend at least $200 to put together a gift basket as a wedding present. However, a young lady (maybe early 20s) followed us from section to section, never greeting us, only watching us. After the 5th time (no exaggeration), I told my husband, "I think that girl is following us." I said it loud enough for her to hear. I continued, "Yes. She's following us from from section to section as if we're going to steal something." The girl just stood there, saying nothing. It's funny how, me, the only dark skinned person, and my husband, the only hispanic, in the store were followed, while none of the Caucasian people were followed. This has happened to me a few times in my life. But, each is just as upsetting. And, sad for them, they lost a good sale and repeat customers. read more
