I'm obsessed with the Royal spa pedicure package. This was my first experience after struggling with ingrown toe nails and wanting that pampering service. My pedicure lady moved out of town so I've been seeking a new spot and I'm actually sad I didn't find this place sooner. I added a few add on services such as white tip, gel polish and charms. I had a horrible experience when having a pedicure at this establishment. The manicurist used a pumice stone all over my foot and ankles. she scratched up my whole foot and ankles leaving them red bleeding and hurting bad. I complied and the employees only offered me a gift certificate. I left upset because I was going to be in a wedding that weekend and I was concerned about not being able to wear my shoes and the scaring. All this not to mention my pedicure was hideous. the worst job I had ever receive. The next day I returned upset because it was so painful and requested a refund. The employee said that was up to the owner but wasn't availabl. I called several times with no return call or resolution. I wasn't able to wear shoes without being in pain. Most painful nail experience of my life. I went in for a fill acrylic and pedi, but I had to walk out after they took off my nails because almost every nail on both hands burned to the touch immediately. There was only one cut but it felt like a ring of fire on every nail. Like I dipped them in jalapeño seeds. I asked the nail tech if I could put them in cold water (even warm water burned). Then I realized she never had me wash them at any point, didn't dip them in solution before/after filing the nails off. Nothing. She was about to apply the acrylic immediately. After I went to pour cold water on them twice because they continued to burn, she took out a spray bottle of alcohol. Their tools are filthy and there's no evidence of cleaning solution. When I went to the register, the owner tried to say that I had a previous burn on one nail. He kept saying "you burned" - huh? I kept explaining, she burned all of my nails, this has never happened to me before. I said let me pay for the pedi and get out of here, but he was trying to place blame on me as I was trying to still tip the girl. They charged me for the gel pedi, taking my nails off (caused ring of fire), and somehow other charges but I wasn't going to argue, I just needed to run to some ice packs. I was worried this pain would last hours but thank god it just burned for 40 minutes. The same nail tech did my gel pedi. It was not painful, I only got the basic package, but it was the laziest pedi I've ever had. She didn't know how to use the tub water, and kept swatting my feet and legs. I know this sounds diva, but she literally kept backhanding my feet to switch, and kept pushing down my big toe like it was broken and she didn't like it. I should have known, as I've heard many other complaints from this location. I went here years ago and got an allergic reaction when one of my legs from knee to foot had a rash. I stopped going to this nail salon a year ago because the nail tech somehow never knew he had an appointment with me. They would have to call him and tell him he had a client and I would wait another 20 to 30 minutes for him to arrive. I have been going to another place that offers outstanding service. Although, I have a 25 minute drive it is worth it. Recently I started going to World Nail Bar again (5 minutes from my house) when my other person is out of town. The lady (Anna) that does my nails at World Nail Bar is amazing and has great customer service skills. No complaints with her service at all. I give her 5 stars! The complaint I have is they do not call customers when the person doing their nails will not be able to make it. I understand that sometimes things come up, but it would be greatly appreciated if the customer would be notified as not to make an unnecessary trip. They do not even ask you if someone else can help you they just go back to work and leave you standing there. I called the other salon that does my nails and they were able to get me in within an hour. My nail technician gave me his number a while a go so I could call him directly and schedule my appointments and he is great at letting me know if something comes up and rescheduling my appointment. So I've been here a few times and the place is not consistent at all. Granted you usually get a different person every time but that does not mean to rush a job or not care as much because we didn't get the highest package they offer. At least thats how I felt. The lady seemed annoyed that we wouldn't choose what she wanted. I mean it was over a $100 and tipped $20 even though she did a horrible job. Reminds me very much a fast barber that tries to get as many people in and out of the chair asap. Again I'm not a fan of them trying to up sell you. I mean listen everyone is just doing their job but they should not be pushy. She barely smiled even though we were cordial, asked her how she was and how her day was going but she wasn't having it. Today I went to the salon to get a "mani-pedi." Deluxe package with clear polish. $79 Tip: 18% or $14.22. Manager: Really nice female with no authority at all. Owner: Out of town at another store and will be back tomorrow. Staff: Mostly oriental. Pedicure given by nice female. Did a good job. Manicure given by male at the same time as my pedicure. He was in a hurry, was pushy; and did a lousy job, which I only discovered after leaving. I paid by credit card and left. Outside I discovered the lousy job he had done. He didn't do my cuticles, and I don't remember him giving me a 10-minute massage. After complaining, the manager attempted to correct his errors herself. I asked her to not give him half of my tip and instead give it all to the lady who had done my pedicure. She could not do that because I had paid by credit card. (no authority) I asked for a refund on the tip. (no authority) After a long discussion with the manager, I realized they have to turn chairs quickly. They were busy and understaffed. Somebody should regulate this industry. The staff works from open to close, and doing a good job does not seem to be a requirement. Side note: I said they were mostly oriental because I have realized that they seem to bring their business practices with them. They work hard but seem to disregard good customer service. **in regards to pedicures** I've come to this place on different occasions & every time I come I get a different mail tech and honestly they do a really good job no matter who it is. Everyone is super friendly and they take their time. You also get 10% off coupons every now and then if you sign in with your phone number. I highly recommend at least giving them a try they are a little pricey but they do a good job so it is worth it. read more

me and my mother went on a date here to do our nails and let me start by saying I do not recommen. it is a very beautiful place but that's about it. I am 18 and every 25 minutes I was I. here someone different if not the same people they kept offering me alcoholic beverage. they were very impatient and kept rushing me to choose a color. I asked them not to touch the side of my toe nails due to ingrown toe nails and they still did it. My mom got solar nails and they were about as thick as 2 quarters stacked on top of each other. I got a polish chnage and the color I chose was completely different from what they put on. This establishment has made cleanliness a priority. Everything is clean and sanitized before it touches your hand/foot. However, they tend to be quite rough when cleaning your nails. What's the point in making an appointment with your nail tech if mid service another customer is able to walk in and demand to only see your nail tech and the people in charge decide to cater to that customer instead of you, an already paying customer. I went here to treat myself to a pedicure as I had before a few years ago and had no problems. I was seated quickly and asked to soak my feet, the water was cold, I wasn't addressed for another 45 minutes then my pedicure began. The tech did not speak to me the entire time except to try and get me to upgrade to gel polish. When she was done my baby toe nail wasn't even painted and I did not notice until I was home. The next day I developed itching under my toe nails and now have a plantar wart on the bottom of my foot. The first time I ever went here was an okayish experience the girl kept burning my nails here and there. I just got a plain pink colored nails with coffin shape, she charged me +$5 for the coffin shape I wanted to get 2 different colors but she was going to charge me +$5 for that too.
