It was a good trip to WOB - not too busy for a brunch, and the music wasn't too loud either. Can't ever go wrong with a pretzel, except for sometimes when the cheese isn't hot enough. I enjoy their truffle fries. I do wish they didn't charge extra if you ask for ranch, but it is what it is I guess. Good service at the bar- reasonably priced bottomless drinks for brunch, but just opted for one this time. Maybe next time I'll go for more... After going to world beer for two weeks spending approximately $700 or more and having one conversation with a group of people and then being told to leave them alone because I made someone feel uncomfortable. Yeah I'll never be back. Fuck you world a beer I didn't ask anybody's gender and I didn't ask if anybody's bitch wanted to fuck. Again, I was convinced to go.... UGH! at least I learned my lesson and we sat at a table with barstools versus a booth, they still haven't fixed those... The only other people there were in a booth and they could barely see over the table. SMH my apologies, there was one other guy at the bar. At PEAK lunchtime. Very sad. Service was terrible. We visited here on a Friday night. We were seated right away, which was surprising considering their parking lot was full. We ordered the German pretzel appetizer, however they didn't have their house made mustard so we had to upgrade to the beer cheese. I tried their Snafu sour and I thought it was good. My husband got the Mac Bite burger and he loved it. I ordered the BBQ smoked brisket burger and sweet potato fries. My food was very good, I loved the flavor and the chipotle bbq sauce. Went here after work for dinner while in Augusta. Glad we did as it was very good. Got arrested quickly but unfortunately it took a while to get service. Once we did though it was fine. Ordered the big pretzel with everything bagel seasoning on it and warm French onion dip. Never had a pretzel like this but I'm really glad I did. It was delicious! I got wings for dinner. They were really good. I'm pretty sure they were smoked even though the menu didn't say that. Very good wings. And they obviously have lots of beer options. I don't really drink beer but I had a cherry cider that was very good. Sorry I forgot to take a picture of my wings. Oh also the place was really buzzing. Great atmosphere. I had 10 wings and a cold beer I also ordered the home made potato chips. All were delicious and reasonably priced. If you do order the wings, make sure to add the house made blue cheese dipping sauce. It is chunky, thick and sticks to your wings. Unlike the watered down dip served at other establishments. They also give you a generous amount. The large variety of cold beer goes well with anything on the menu. Tonight was Karaoke night. Something great to do with friends or family. Me and my family came here to celebrate and we loved our experience. There was wonderful live music, and everyone was extremely friendly. The food took a long time to arrive, but it was excellent once it did. I thought the burger was well made, and though they were out of the Chimay cheese I had wanted to try, the truffle burger was a great second choice. I get that it's Sunday Brunch, however our server is sitting down at another table chatting up two dudes seated at a table for 8 wha apparently are holding the table for the last 45 minutes with a stack of menus waiting on their friends to arrive. When the food finally arrived- 35 minutes after ordering, there is no napkins, silverware and the food runner left before she we could blink, never made eye contact and still no server. Finally got up found a set from the bar. On the plus side, the food was actually 8/10 - burger and the steak and egg bowl. Beer selection is better than average - but not as good as i would expect for someplace that bills itself as World of Beer. read more

First the ambiance: Definitely a tavern style place (if you couldn't tell by the name) which is both well travelled and clean. I've never seen an unhappy face and no matter how bad of a day I've had, I can always count on coming here to cheer me up. The food: Tavern style to be sure. German pretzels, Mac and cheese bites, burgers, wings, and more. All of the things I've had here are anywhere from good to awesome. Is it five star dining? Hardly, but with all those beers on tap is that really the most important thing? Service: 8/5 stars. Every person I've encountered who works here has made me feel like I mattered. While everyone here from the GM to the cooks has made me feel like this is where I want to unwind, nobody takes care of me like Jerry. That dude remembered what I like from the first time I walked through the doors. He's prompt, engaging, fun and downright awesome. I've considered adopting him but that may be taking it a little far, but if you swing by and check the place out you'd understand why people like him keep us coming back time and again. I was visiting my family from Atlanta & we all decided to link up at World of Beer. My parents had been here a few times, so it came highly recommended. This restaurant is in a great location! The Atmosphere: Super nice! The inside is like a bar vibe. The have booths, bar tables, regular tables, & bar seating available. Outdoor is nice with a fire pit to eat around, in addition to bar tables and regular seating. Plenty of flat screens everywhere to catch a game. The Service: Our waitress was very nice & it was only her 6th day working there. She seemed as if she knew everything already. The only downer was their CO2 machine was broken, so no drinks were available besides alcohol or water. Even no beer on tap, it had to be canned or bottled. No big deal for me, because I had water and alcohol. LOL. The Food: I ordered the Brunch burger, which came with fried egg & bacon (amongst other toppings) and fries or tots (I got tots). Wowzer! So freaking good! I've had many brunch burgers from other restaurants and this was by far the best. The tots were also really good! I also had a $6 margarita special that was really good. One drink had me a little tipsy. My mom also ordered the Churro bites with Nutella! CRACK COCAINE! I mean, WOW! I could've eaten them all by myself. Gracious. Overall, it was a good experience. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because of their machine. Other than that, what a great time. I'll be back when I visit in December for Christmas. read more

I find the food to be low quality and drenched in sauces to cover up the quality. Or maybe I like to appreciate food more than other and don't want to be overwhelmed by sauces...either way, the tots were ordered with "less cheese" and all of the ones in the middle were mush because of how much cheese was on them. The burger was so sweet and didn't really taste of burger, but bbq sauces, sweet jam and the pimento cheese. Though, ofcourse the beer selection is awesome! I absolutely loved my allagash triple! Came here with family, the Orpheus transmigration of souls was surprisingly delicious, coming from someone who doesn't really like beer. The mahi tacos were okay but leaning more towards regret. We try to get there by 1130am because it can get packed. That's how you know it's so great!
