I recently dined at Wolf Steakhouse in Cooper City and wanted to share my experience. Father's Day at Wolf's was a full house! [[HIGHLIGHT]]First, the ambiance is absolutely beautiful. The restaurant has an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere that makes it perfect for a special occasion, date night, or simply enjoying a great meal with family and friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server, Lisa, was wonderful throughout the evening. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and always checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Her professionalism and positive attitude truly enhanced our dining experience. The food was once again delicious, and the quality of the dishes was evident. However, there were a couple of minor issues during our visit. It was a very busy evening, so I understand that the staff was working hard to accommodate a full restaurant. We did wait a little over an hour for our appetizers, and when they finally arrived, our entrées were brought out only a couple of minutes later. Additionally, I have a mushroom allergy, and some mushrooms were accidentally mixed in with the grilled onions on top of my steak. What impressed me most was how quickly and professionally the situation was handled. As soon as management became aware of the cross-contamination issue, they immediately stepped in, took it seriously, and worked quickly to correct it. Their response demonstrated a genuine commitment to guest safety and satisfaction, which I greatly appreciated. While no restaurant is perfect, great service is often measured by how challenges are handled, and Wolf Steakhouse's management team did an excellent job making things right. Between the beautiful atmosphere, attentive service from Lisa, delicious food, and management's dedication to customer care, I will absolutely be returning. I'm already looking forward to my next visit so I can finally try the tomahawk steak! read more

My friend chose Wolf's Steakhouse for dinner ahead of a Friday night concert at the Hard Rock Casino nearby. We were so happily surprised by the whole experience. As we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by a lovely host wearing a beautiful black suit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Live piano music, so unexpected, created a really wonderful atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were seated at our table and all the women in our group were brought long stem roses (no thorns!) which was honestly so lovely. Our server helped us select perfect cocktails. The Lavendar Wolf was my favorite, though a friend's smokey old fashioned smelled like Christmas. For dinner, steak was of course the star. I had a beautiful filet which came served with carrots and broccoli. Extra sides could be added, so we opted for some sauteed mushrooms. A lobster-loaded baked potato was also offered at a reasonable $16 add on. I missed out on that this trip, but will definitely add that next time. We visited Wolf's Steakhouse for a late lunch on Saturday. The establishment was new to us all and was chosen based on posted reviews. No occasion; just a nosh with visiting family. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice place with a quiet atmosphere considering we were there before the dinner rush.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started with drinks; an espresso martini and an old fashioned. Both were superlative! We also had Panna water and house rolls with butter to start. As entrees, my nieces elected to have the Tomahawk combo (steak and two sides) and I chose the boneless ribeye. My steak was a perfect medium rare, well marbled without excessive fat. The char was fantastic! Unfortunately, the tomahawk had large pockets of hard fat and was streaked with hard muscle fiber. Our server, Lisa addressed an issue with a side that didn't work for us, but it was the manager, Jorge, that made everything right with the disappointing tomahawk. We were greeted with a warm welcome as soon as we walked in. We arrived during happy hour, but since it's only offered at the bar, we chose to sit in the dining area instead. We started by sharing the Cobb salad -- crisp, cold iceberg lettuce, plenty of bacon, juicy cherry tomatoes, and just the right amount of dressing. Sharing was definitely the right call! For mains, we ordered the 8oz filet and the 16oz New York strip -- both cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Our sides were mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. To my surprise, the mac & cheese ended up being my favorite! I'm not usually a big fan, but I'm so glad we went for it. Overall, we were very happy we chose this spot. We did make reservations in case but it was not busy on a Friday around 5pm To order we had the following: Old fashioned: they come to the table with this presentation of the old fashioned in a contained smoker glass (think of the rose in beauty and the beast) they open it up and bam smoke comes out of it. Spicy Watermelon Marg: I always love me some tajin. The drink was not super sweet and tasted amazing. Never tried it before but would recommend it Tomahawk Steak: so out of 5 I would rate it a 3 for the following reasons. So for $159 (they have it discounted on tuesdays) they give you a whole tomahawk, 2 sides and comes with mushrooms and onions. Now the sides for 2 people were not sharing size it is individual (if you look at the photo you can see the fries my husband ordered). We asked for the steak medium well and certain pieces were medium well but towards the bone it was rare. The price was not worth it and it was a bit disappointing. I give this place four stars because it excelled with good food, good service and great pricing. I was pleasantly surprised how tasty everything was. Food came out quick and everything was very flavorful. The menu offers all the favorites of a traditional, high end steakhouse at a fraction of the price. The only reason why I take away a star is because this place was a bit more casual than a typical steakhouse. It's in an odd location in a strip mall. This is a super hard review to write. Based on the food the rating would be 4 and 1/2. Based on the service 5. Based on the ambiance it is a 2. The sound level in the restaurant was off the charts. It was very loud and we felt that we were in a sports bar vs a high level steak house. Definitely not a place for a quiet dinner. Pluses: Food is delicious. We started with the calamari and lobster chowder. Both were very good. I had the mahi with crab meat. It was very good. My daughter had the shrimp scampi. She enjoyed it and had a lot to bring home. My husband had the lamb chop special. The lamb was very tasty. It came with the crispy mashed potatoes - so good! My MIL had the NY strip. She loved it and it was cooked perfectly. We ordered mac & cheese and a loaded baked potato for the table. Both were outstanding. From the time we checked, until the time we left, service was very good. Minuses: It was VERY loud. So loud we couldn't hear each other. There was a basketball game on the TV at the bar and there was a lot of screaming on top of the guitar playing and the conversations at each of the tables. We got no bread service. Which we saw on every review. All in all, considering the cost of the bill ($350 for 4 people, which includes the tip), while the food was amazing, the experience wasn't because if the noise level - which could have probably been reduced with better acoustics - we most likely won't be back for dinner. read more

The dining room is also very pleasing with more comfortable seating. Wolf's Steakhouse offers a Very Nice Menu Selection for Dinner, Lunch and Brunch. The food is high quality and expertly cooked. For dinner one night we feasted on Tomahawk Steaks which literally just about melts in your mouth. The surf and turf were exceptional. On weekends, be sure to make your reservations well in advance especially on nights with Live Music and Brunch on the weekends. At Wolf's Steakhouse, the service is just not just good - it is unforgettable. Warm and Friendly and if you made a reservation, they will greet you by name. Very professional and just a Joy! Often anticipating your needs be you even have to ask. Over at the bar, the bartenders are equally impressive, very personable all the while creating delicious cocktails. Stopped in for happy hour mid week around 4:30. First time in Wolf's. The ambiance was warm and inviting with a steakhouse vibe. The bar was large L shaped with comfy bar stools and mirror bar shelves. We ordered dirty martinis off the happy hour menu for $9.00 ( tasty and strong). We also ordered the bang bang shrimp. Not very spicy and the breading was light and flavorful. Service was excellent and the bar tender checked with us often. Looked over the regular menu. A little on the pricey side but would be nice for special occasions. Will be back to support our local restaurant. read more

The Happiest of Hours!!! Date night early bird style. I'm very impressed with the service the waitress was friendly and made very tasty drinks she didn't introduce herself however she was still pleasant. We arrived at 5:45 went to the bar ordered drinks and food off the happy hour menu. The sticky ribs were tender and very tasty we shared 2 a piece they were a very nice size. The truffle fries (my wife is a fry and chicken wing expert) loved the steak fries covered with truffle hot, fresh and crispy. The sliders (3) were not your everyday boring slider they were amazing tender and juicy. Now these aren't on the menu they were on top of the ribs. Fried Onions DELICIOUS is all I can say. Amazing! I have passed by this restaurant for 2 years and never tried it. It was my father's 93rd birthday and we wanted to try something new. Wolfs was a wonderful choice. The restaurant was elegant yet simple. The interior had an upscale look with a full bar. Our server, Phil, was a delight. He was super attentive and could not have done any more to take care of all of our needs. We ordered the 14oz NY strip. Phil accommodated us by splitting our meal in half. We ordered the peppercorn sauce and enjoyed our steak medium rare. Oh my, this steak was prepared to perfection. We ordered a fully loaded baked potato, that we also split, yummy! For dessert, they brought us a beautiful cheesecake, on a special birthday platter, nice touch. The chef came out from the kitchen to meet us and to see if we were happy with our meal. Rachel, the bartender, also paid us a table side visit. We had the pleasure of meeting William Wolf (Owner), who also dropped by our table to introduce himself. If you are looking for the best steakhouse, West of University Drive, this is definitely the place for you. I checked this place out for brunch yesterday morning and sat at the bar. I was greeted immediately and provided with a menu and water by the friendly server who doubled as a bartender as soon as I sat down. The place was clean and inviting but was absolutely deserted for some reason. I ordered the steak and eggs (filet mignon edition) and was pleasantly surprised that the steak, eggs, and side of home fries served with it were perfectly cooked and extremely flavorful. I didn't even have to add seasoning or request a side of sauce. My one pseudo complaint is that the music they had playing was depressing. I'm not sure if someone on staff recently went through a breakup or we were listening to a sad rainy day mix, but either way, I personally would've preferred to listen to something a bit more upbeat while I ate. Overall, eating at wolf's was a solid experience. I'd like to revisit at night when the restaurant is in full swing and the pianist is playing live music. read more

I don't normally get to go to a steak house but this was to celebrate a special occasion. This place feels more like a sports bar than a steaks. There's quite a few TVs around the bar area and the place is very loud. Unlike a sports bar the food and the service here is excellent. We started out with a couple of appetizers, calamari and lobster chowder. The calamari was fantastic, one of the best I've ever had. Then I shared a bowl of lobster chowder with my wife and daughter. I had never had lobster chowder before and I loved it. It's definitely a lot richer in taste then clam chowder. My mother can with us and she was the only one to eat steak. She had the New York Strip. It was cooked perfect! It looked good and she said it was really good. My daughter had the shrimp scampi. It was loaded with shrimp and I tried it. Shrimp scampi is not of my favorite dishes and I thought it was very good. My wife she had crab crusted Mahi, she it was okay. Me, I went for the lamb chops, it was served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I'm not sure I can put it in words how much I really enjoyed it. We also ordered a couple of side dishes to share, a and baked potato and macaroni and cheese. The potato was enormous, plenty for all of us to share. It was good, it's a potato! Now the macaroni and cheese! It was unbelievably good! We did have dessert, the apple cobbler with vanilla icecream. That was nothing to write about. It was just okay. The owner plasters his face all over town, so it's hard to see him yell at his employees. I was served by Meredith and she did a phenomenal job. Food was great, but it was hard to focus on my meal overhearing the way he was talking to his staff.
