BBQ Ranch - Taste the Adventures
    Siddiqua A.

I must say, that my family and I made a great decision by choosing to have an early dinner at BBQ Ranch, located in Southwest Ranches. Easily accessible from Sheridan Street, nestled in the back of Flamenco Nusery. From the moment, we entered I knew we made the right choice. The Ambiance is such a chilled and relaxing vibe. Made for the perfect family get together, or just a really nice time out with friends. Loved how friendly, the management and staff are. They are so accommodating, our party had two allergies (food -eggs and chicken). They made sure everything was handled with such care. We ordered some appetizers (Tequenos and Cachapas) as our starters, it was perfectly made. For our entree, we got the Alazan Vip Platter, Chef's recommendations. And boy, this was by far one of the tasty meat, veggies, smoked Platter we've had. Talk about flavor in the meat ( smoky and bold rich infused flavors). Meat that melt in your mouth. Loved that they paired the meat with some sauces that just complimented it perfectly. We had basmati rice, Yuca fries and grilled peppers with our meal. Not forgetting the grilled cheese. My family and I, will definitely be back to this amazing hidden gem. Thank you to the management and staff, for such great hospitality.

Bbq ranch is a newer place that has an amazing atmosphere. The outside set up is perfect for large groups or for a nice date night! The waitress was attentive and helped us decide what to order! The cut of meat was average but had good flavor! Overall it was a nice night!

It's a smallish restaurant but they also have seating outside. From what I understand they do have an area for private parties. We were seated and given our menus and told about the house specials. I ordered the taglioline cacio e pepe and my husband got the fettuccine meatballs. All the pastas in the restaurant are homemade and the one I ordered was prepared table side in a cheese wheel. I don't even know where to start except to say that this was so delicious and definitely one of the best Italian dishes I've ever had. The cheese sauce was so creamy and there was a slight taste of truffle in there. They ask you if you'd like pepper in it so I had them add a little bit to cut out some of the creaminess of the sauce. My husband's fettuccine was equally as delicious and I loved the meatballs and I'm usually not a person who likes restaurant made meatballs because I think mine are the best! For dessert we split a slice of tiramisu and it was very good. Sangria was very good as well. Mimmo, the owner and chef came over to say hello and to make sure we were enjoying our food and service. It was really nice chatting with him and I told him that we are definitely going to be repeat customers! It's not visible from the street so I'd suggest using your GPS there first time you go there unless you're familiar with the area.

We dined here as part of a bachelorette celebration and appreciated that they offer a private dining room for special events--perfect for groups! We started with a classic selection of Italian appetizers: Bruschetta - Lightly toasted bread topped with bright, juicy tomatoes, garlic, and a drizzle of olive oil. It tasted so fresh and vibrant. Love the Italian Meatballs. It was perfect sizing, tender, flavorful in a rich, tomato sauce. Perfectly seasoned and comforting. The Burrata & Prosciutto so worth having! The burrata was creamy, and perfectly balanced by the salty, paper-thin slices of prosciutto. It's like it melted in my mouth. For the main, we ordered two traditional pasta dishes that absolutely delivered: Cacio e Pepe which was served tableside in a parmesan wheel. The bolognese a combination of pomodoro, pork and beef - meaty, and full of flavor with a little hint of sweetness from the tomatoes. It was comforting and so satisfying. I'm not a big tomato girl--usually get heartburn--but everything was so fresh and balanced that I felt great afterward. That says a lot! You know dessert was a must! I tried the tiramisu - Light, creamy, and not overly sweet. A well-balanced classic. Omg the Caramel Cheesecake is a must! Kind of a silky texture from the Carmel but decadent just the same - divine. Our server, Christian, was amazing--attentive, efficient, and incredibly patient with our group. The food came out timely, and everyone at the table left full and happy. Highly recommend visiting this spot.

The Churassco was super fatty and chewy, if there was onion jam on the sliders, well I couldn't tell. I've been writing restaurant reviews for years all over the U.S. Mostly restaurants because let's…read morebe honest... food is my love language. Good food and good service can heal emotional damage, lower blood pressure, and probably save marriages. So after seeing Negroni sitting there in Weston Town Center looking all fancy and mysterious for what feels like 37 years, my wife and I finally decided to go. No kids. No responsibilities. Just two tired adults escaping life for a couple hours. We walk in and immediately the place looked beautiful. Nice aesthetics, trendy vibe, dim lights, everybody dressed like they either own crypto or sell real estate in Brickell. I said okay this place got potential. Then the hostess sat me at the smallest table known to mankind. Ladies and gentlemen... I am 6'2. This table was built for borrowers from The Borrowers movie. My knees were touching the wall, the chair, the table, and possibly another dimension. I felt like I was serving detention for crimes I didn't commit. At one point I think my rib cage made eye contact with the candle. But I stayed positive because sometimes suffering leads to greatness. Jesus carried the cross. I carried cramped legs. I ordered the 14 oz ribeye medium well. The steak came out with three sauces like they were presenting evidence in court. This one is chimichurri. This one is peppercorn. This one is liquid mortgage payment. The steak itself was good. Tender, soft cut, flavorful enough... but not $110 dinner and hidden fees flavorful. For that price I expected the cow to personally walk out, thank me for my service, and salute my family. My wife ordered the pork belly bao and honestly that thing slapped harder than my grandmother's flip flop in 1997. Very good. Then my genius self decided to order sushi at a steakhouse. Because apparently I enjoy making questionable life decisions. The sushi roll had a little spice to it, and it was decent, but halfway through eating it I realized this is exactly how people end up in documentaries. Now let's discuss the music. WHY WAS THE MUSIC SO LOUD?! I wasn't eating dinner I was fighting for survival at Ultra Music Festival. I tried talking to my wife: BABE HOW'S YOUR FOOD?! She screamed back: WHY ARE YOU MAD AT ME?! The couple next to us probably thought we were renewing divorce papers. Every time the bass dropped my soda moved across the table by itself like a paranormal activity scene. And the waitress bless her heart she moved around the restaurant like she was late for a flight at Fort Lauderdale airport. Need anything? What are you drinking? Here's your food. Ma'a slow down. Build a relationship. Tell me Something. I felt like I was ordering dinner from one of my cousins during a family reunion: Aight here damn. Then came the bill. $110. For a steak. A sushi roll. Bao buns. Two sodas. And a random service fee that appeared out of nowhere like an unexpected tax from the Roman Empire. I asked myself: What exactly are we servicing here besides my financial decline? Overall, the place is beautiful, the food is decent, and if you enjoy dining inside what sounds like a Fast & Furious nightclub while folded into a child-sized table this is your place. Would I come back? Probably not. But will I remember it? Absolutely. Mostly because my knees are still recovering.

First off, it was a Sunday night and they had live music which was nice. Added to the ambiance. Our waitress came over and offered some incredible specials. Everything she described sounded amazing. And they also have an extensive menu, so I think the hardest thing was making a decision. For starters we got the Burrata. It comes with arugula, prosciutto and tomatoes. I love that the arugula was dressed! It had a garlicky olive oil that was fascinating. The combo of that with the burrata was amazing. Also I appreciate the fact that it was actual Burrata!!! The interior was soft and creamy as it should be! Could've used more prosciutto but I always want more lol For entree I got the Filet Mignon with a peppercorn sauce on the side. That came with a side of mashed potatoes and broccolini. (You do have the option to change your side for pasta if you like) I got my filet cooked to a mid-rare and the temp on the steak was on point. It was also well seasoned and very flavorful on it's own. Now the real star of the night was that peppercorn sauce. OMG... I could bathe in that sauce. It's delicious. Knowing how good it is, next time I'll ask for the filet smothered in the sauce. The mashed potatoes were okay, but the peppercorn sauce made it that much better. For dessert I went with the classic Tiramisu. It is a huge portion! The mascarpone is so soft and fluffy and has just the right amount of coffee. Highly recommend for tiramisu lovers. We got to meet the owner which was nice and he just recently took over the place and is currently renovating the interior. Looking forward to seeing this place refreshed!! The food is already 10/10!
