We waited about 10 mins to be seated. Priscilla took good care of us. She was ready with the recommendations. We ordered the chicken and red chili chilaquiles, gravy and biscuits and the supreme omelet. This was exactly what we needed. Fresh, yummy and well portioned, we had our fill. My margarita was made perfectly and went well with my chilaquiles. Service was fast! We waited maybe 15 mins for our food. The only downside to this restaurant in my opinion, are the coed bathrooms. We were a party of eight celebrating a child's graduation. Our food was delivered without there being any napkins or eating utensils on the table. There were no clean forks or knives available so we were given plastic utensils in a bag. We weren't given cloth napkins either. Maybe they were dirty too? No apology was offered. No clean forks were brought when available. Instead, the wait staff disappeared until it was time to bring the check. Then our waitress lingered at our table chatting us up while her tip was being written down. On to the food. The salmon on my eggs benedict was just awful. I struggled to cut through the english muffin with the one metal knife I did have. The pancakes were rubbery. My husband's food was cold. The lettuce was brown. It couldn't have been worse. This was my first - and last - time going to Another Broken Egg. I was meeting a friend for breakfast and she suggested this place. I expected it to be good, as there are often lines to get in on the weekend. It was absolutely one of the worst places I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot of places! When we sat down, I mentioned to the waitress that I'd never been, and she said I'd be getting free beignets, either before or after our meal. How nice! Then she disappeared ... for a long time. My friend was finally able to flag her down. We placed our order and waited, and waited, and waited. The waitress stopped by to ask my friend how her coffee was, as that was the only thing that had been served, and also apologized for the wait, saying the kitchen got hit with tickets all at once. Well, if she had taken our order in a timely fashion, that wouldn't have happened, and it was very strange because the place was only about half full. Anyway, the food arrived ... well, most of it, anyway. Her pancakes weren't delivered, so they went to get those. Then we had to wait for mayo for my BLT&A, which by the way, had no A (avocado) on it and the lettuce was brown and wilted. We also had to wait for syrup for the pancakes and dressing for my side salad. However, I probably could have done without the salad dressing because the lettuce in the salad was so wilted and slimy that it was inedible. I don't know why the service was so bad and why the food was even worse. I certainly don't know how the kitchen can omit an ingredient from a half-sandwich or even serve lettuce that is obviously too old to eat. And were the beignets good, at least? I wanted to have a nice brunch Sunday with my amazing friend and my family. I reserved ahead of time and I only had to wait like 5 mins. Our sever was Stacy and she was super sweet and welcoming. She knew the menu very well and gave me great suggestions for what to eat. Because it was our first time in this restaurant the server gifted us free beignets and a free mason cup. As for a coffee I had the caramel cold bro with an extra caramel drizzle and it was delicious. For my entree I had the Sunrise Spinach Scrambler and it tasted good. I really enjoyed my meal and I found everyone working in this restaurant super sweet. My friend even lost left her lipstick on the table and the server made sure to put it in the front so we can retrieve it quickly. The parking is free and near the restaurant. Went on waitlist online. and when I arrived at the restaurant and checked in with the hostess, they said it would be a 30 minute wait. This was the same as the waitlist was 30 minutes prior when I joined the waitlist online. When I explained this to the hostess, she said we could have a table outside right away :). Another Broken Egg Cafe is exactly that, another one. This location is at the plaza on the corner of Hiatus Rd & Pines Blvd in a busy plaza. Parking is not a problem with a good amount of spots both in front and around the plaza. Came here on a Monday morning, which was a holiday so it was still pretty busy, and didn't have trouble getting a table for 6. I arrived first so I tried to reserve a table and the staff helped reserve one but told me to wait to be seated until my whole party was there. When my friend came with his baby, we were able to be seated and found fit cozy in the table. Our server seemed rushed to help us and came to check in periodically. When it finally came to order, I let her know that I was ordering to go and if my order could come out faster (if possible) and to bring me my check when she could. When the food came out, my food actually came out last (out of all six of our orders) and I had to remind her that I had a to go order. Lots of times it's the server who tips the scales. In this case, Will tipped over the whole contraption in the right direction. This is a hometown southern style restaurant that specializes in New Orleans cuisine. Will was pulled in all directions and managed to make me laugh with his sweet disposition. The food fit the bill and you could tell it's worth a try due to the high volume of regulars. There are brownie points, or should I say boozy points for serving alcoholic drinks! Food/Service Tati was our server and was very abrupt. We had a couple of issues with our meals and she argued instead of trying to rectify the problem, she got loud and defensive. I had the bacon Benedict and I advised her that bacon was super hard and she said oh that's bc it's leftover bacon from the day b4 chopped up. Never asked, can I get you something else. Nonetheless, I ate what I could. My daughter had the Churizzo and avocado omelet, that had no churizzo in it. She came back with some taco sauce. Was NOT Churizzo. We ate what we could. We had a 10:30 AM reservation for Mother's Day at Another Broken Egg Cafe. We understood from the beginning that Mother's Day is one of the busiest restaurant days of the year, so we were patient when we had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation. However, the real problem started after we were seated. It took almost another hour for the food to arrive, and when it finally came, the food was cold. During the entire wait, no manager came by to check on the tables, apologize, or provide any update about the delay. Our server also never acknowledged the excessive wait or apologized until the check arrived. I understand that holiday rushes can create pressure for restaurants, but if a restaurant accepts reservations and operates at full seating capacity, there should be enough preparation, staffing, and kitchen coordination to handle those customers properly--especially on Mother's Day, which is one of the most predictable high-volume days of the year. What disappointed us most was not only the delay itself, but the complete lack of communication and customer care. This alcohol in the coffee was strong but it tasted very good!!! Never had anything like it, would go back to try again. Banana foster pancakes: 10/10 these are my favorite here, always delicious and the flavors are immaculate. You have to give it a try. Strawberry pound cake French toast: 6/10 it wasn't what I was expecting, it's not actually French toast but pound cake. I know you're probably reading this like duhhh lol but idk I expected actual French toast that tasted like pound cake. It had a hard sugar glaze on it that I wasn't a huge fan of. Of course everyone knows things can get a little busy around here, for how popular the place is I understand! Rush hour is typically 10-12 so be sure to get there at a reasonable time, and don't be surprised if there's already people waiting it happens! I sat at the breakfast counter which had no wait at 11am on a Sunday! I was immediately greeted with a big smile and friendly demeanor. But it wasn't my birthday, so I stayed hopeful that maybe things had changed. Alas, they had not. She managed to snag a mostly shaded outdoor table (though plenty of others were roasting. ) We were a party of four on a Saturday morning. One friend needed to leave early for work, so she ordered quickly, but our server kind of disappeared for 25 minutes, so the rest of us didn't get to order in a timely fashion. Food took a while to come out. It was all good, but definitely overpriced for what it was. One friend had to ask the server several times just to get water, and the birthday girl's food arrived cold. Parking was pretty manageable at 10:30, but it was a madhouse by noon, as was their lobby for those in line to dine. My first time here during my travel to South Florida. We had a birthday brunch for my hubby's birthday! First let me tell you, this is a popular spot in Pembroke Pines. Second thought - parking can be ridiculous. Third, the staff here are very courteous. We didn't realize the amount of time it would take to get from Weston to Pembroke Pines. Although Google Maps said 30 minutes, it ended up taking 50 minutes. Lots of people were on the road on a Saturday morning. However, once we arrived, we were seated almost immediately, even with the restaurant being crowded. There were also people eating brunch outdoors. Our host and waiter was very helpful, and we got our meals within 20 minutes. We had a reservation for a boat tour in Miami - which was an hour away, and we needed to leave within 15 minutes of getting our food. I asked the waiter if he could bring the check and we would pay ahead, and that was absolutely no problem. This was so helpful, and by the way, we did make the boat tour, in fact, we were first in line. Back to the food at Another Broken Egg Cafe - DELICIOUS! Yes, I was in a rush, and really wanted to savor every bite, but the strawberry pound cake french toast was absolutely delicious. It was very sweet, but the fresh strawberries balanced everything out for me. However, if that's not your cup of tea, you should pass on it. LOL! I was annoyed that one of my husband's toast was burnt, but it seemed as though they gave extra slices. I just felt they should have removed the burnt slice.
