This is literally the best pizza I have had in Seattle. And there are two things I have tried in all parts of the city: pizza and tater tots. As far as pizza goes, this place takes the cake. The perfect mix of modest pricing with quality ingredients. The veggie peperoni is not my favorite topping, and I don't think they necessarily need it, but all of their other combos are perfection. The potato pizza is genius. They don't rack up the prices to give you extremely exotic combinations with layers of toppings.. they keep it simple, fresh, flavorful, and cheap. The crust is thin yet flavorful, sometimes almost has a fried crisp edge to it. The slices are generous and the whole pies are huge. Probably about 20" for $20! I've been meaning to go for a long time now. With a local fire in the neighborhood I wanted the inside scoop. GF wanted a chocolatchip cookie so I grabbed a piece of pizza for later. I mentioned how I'd been planning to visit, next thing I knew the server was putting a second slice in our order, no charge! I just finished both slices and can tell they are top notch. Toppings and sauce were top of the charts flavorfull, they add fresh basil leaves and Im sure it adds to the experience. Whoever decided to soak pineapple in wasabi was a genius, B-R-I-L-L-I-A-N-T like those old Guinness commercials. Great balance of cheese and sauce. At $3 a slice for the specialty pizzas it's hard to beat. Def worth it just for the wasabi pineapple. They should package it in to-go jars. read more

Very tasty pizza here. The sauce was awesome and cheese was awesome. However, slices had only 5/6 pieces of pepperoni and I would have liked more. Salad had very large chunks of tomato, blue cheese, and olive with very strong flavors that were a chore to swallow. Loved the dark wood finishs and overall atmosphere. read more

Almost all reviews are from vegans who love the vegan choices, and this may be true; however, that shouldn't be your only criteria for a 5 Star review. The pizza was over priced for what it was, and it was no better than the pizza they had at the 7/11. The potato whatever favorite pizza was slightly better, but I couldn't get past the awful crust. The place is really small, and it takes them 30 minutes to make a new pie. Walked in and was a little hesitant when I noticed the distinct lack of pepperoni, sausage, and the like, and upon confirming they only offered vegetarian fare, I almost bounced--but I stayed, and I'm glad I did. We got a custom pie which took about 30 mins, and was absolutely delicious. The boyfriend and I loved this place when it was in Belltown many a year ago. We were sad it closed, and have not found any place or pizza that met our World Pizza standards, perhaps one came close though. Now it's in Chinatown and we love World Pizza all over again! When I came across a review in the Seattle Times last summer, I was thrilled to show the boyfriend. We showed up a very short time later. I am happy to say, the walls are orange again, the atmosphere is the same funky charm, and yay, the same owners. Everything about the pizza is the same, just the way we love it. The crust is a bit on the thin side with lots of flavor and character to match the zesty sauce. They don't overdo the cheese, and kept the potatoes and gorgonzola cheese as signature toppings. One change is their meat source is no longer in business, but they found a source for the vegetarian pepperoni which the boyfriend enjoys. (I never cottoned to fake meats or strong tasting cheeses well, so it's nothing personal). I am thrilled that they added Greek Salad to their list of food items. Also, they bake up those over-sized chocolate chip cookies that are just a tad overdone, the way I love 'em as it gives them the homemade taste and quality. It's so rare that a restaurant or an independent shop recreates magic a second time, especially after a few years. World Pizza has done it in Chinatown, and it is amazing. read more

I just recently moved to Seattle from San Jose, CA and I thought I would go through pizza my heart withdrawals, until a few days after my arrival. As soon as I stepped into the pizzeria and saw the pineapple and peppers slice, I was in lust, after the first bite I was in love! The crust is perfect, not too thick, not too thin, sturdy, crispy, and just the right sweetness factor. The amount of sauce is perfect, the flavor....perfect. I have been back a few times and have not been able to break away from the sweet and spicy of the pineapple pepper slice, but there are other options like roasted potato, tomato and basil, mushroom and basil, veggie pepperoni, and cheese of course, which i am sure all taste equally amazing. The atmosphere is cozy and the workers are super friendly. I mentioned how much I loved ginger candy the first time I went there, when I came back the young woman behind the counter remembered that I liked ginger candy and gave me a few boxes that someone had given them. Aaaaand if you love lemonheads as much as I do, they have 25 cent boxes at the register :D Even if i didnt live a few blocks away, I would be back here all the time. read more

This is my favorite pizza in Seattle! It's all vegetarian and super yummy thin crust. My favorite is the basic cheese, the kalamata olive one and sometimes they have a pesto one that's super good too. They also have good cookies that are made in the pizza oven. Very nice staff too. read more

Love, love, love that this place is vegetarian. You can't even tell if you order anything with the Field Roast on it. The service here is always super friendly, they will explain every single different pizza option available for you if you are indecisive like me. Your slice is placed in the oven to reheat and crisp more once you order, it only takes a couple minutes so its perfect for you to find a seat. The crust on this pizza is much more dense than you would expect, but it leaves you nice and full once it settles in your stomach. The toppings are very simple, but always delicious. The happy hour is perfect for a cheap slice if you're looking for something other than asian food. Just be careful during the summer; while the oven makes some delicious pizzas, it makes you feel like you're the one in the oven when it's hot out! read more

First of all, it's lovely to have a non-Asian option in Chinatown if one spends a lot of time there. And everyone likes pizza, right? Well this isn't just okay, this is sublime. You don't miss not having meat, and this is coming from a confirmed omnivore! The crust is thin, but not too thin. The "pepperoni" is Field Roast Mexican Chipotle "grain meat", the best faux meat purveyor out there. The sauce is the star, with an incredible depth and richness. For me the gorgonzola potato is a particular standout, with the potatoes morphing into something velvety and decadent. On a hot day this place can be sweltering, unless you're sitting in the path of a fan, but on a dark and dreary Seattle day, it's lovely bittersweet orange and olive green vibe is like a Mediterranean hug. The Greek salad is not as pretty as some, as it is very well tossed, but the flavors marry beautifully. Pizza in Chinatown? You betcha! My wife works in the International District (ID or Chinatown) and she told me about this place. The pizza here is amazing. The sauce has a little kick but not too much. The crust has flavor, isn't yeasty and is just the right thickness. We had a Gorgonzola and roasted potato pizza with mushrooms. Delicious! The service is friendly and personal The decor is hip yet comfortable. There's no air conditioning though so if you go on a hot day expect it to be pretty toasty in there. read more
