All vegan restaurant....all American style of food. Many deep fried options. Our server worked really hard and was very friendly. We had a large group for a gathering with my coworkers. Sadly I didn't take any photos of the food. We tried A LOT of dishes on their menu. Nachitos: 5/5 very good! I enjoyed this. Soft pretzels and mustard: 5/5. Buffalo wingz: 2/5 NOT for me! Hated the texture. Tofu Soba: 3/5. HUGE portion. It was ok, sauce is interesting, acidic yet sweet. It doesn't taste great the next day. Lots of Tofu pieces. Fried pickles: 2/5 so greasy and salty. Not for me! Lemon coconut mocktail: 5/5. I had 2 of these, so good and refreshing. Pineapple crush: 2/5 disappointing. Needs to have more bubbles. Dessert was disappointing. I was super excited because they just got a whole fresh delivery of their vegan cakes. We tried one of each and I didn't like any of them to be honest.

I didn't order food, but I ordered a drink. I was very pleased with my drink, and the service was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A vegan dive bar (is that a thing?) crossed with a vegan diner (even rarer of a thing?) in a converted Chinese restaurant (ok seriously?)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you're into the oddities of juxtapositions, this is definitely the place for you.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You walk in and are immediately confused. No hostess, no clear signage... just a doorbell on a counter telling you to press it to let them know you're there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you came in prepared for this non-standard operation... it certainly adds to the super quirky vibe. If not, I can imagine you might be a bit frustrated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food is definitely greasy-spoon-dive-bar worthy. Extra points for tater tots and curly fries. Wish there were some more "fresh" options, but if you're a meat eater craving bar food, you might not be sad about the cheesy greasy burgers. Frankly I'm too straight laced for this... but I got my obligatory bacun (sic) burger and saw myself out after leaving a hefty tip. I love the wonderful waitress and the owner's creativity for filling out a niche that I'm not sure anyone recognized as a gap to be filled. I most certainly will point a few folks to this for the novelty factor but given this is not really the kind of food I eat, nor my kind of scene, I probably won't be a regular.

I am not vegan and have no desire to be (as I lack discipline lol). But the food is so good here. I've had their burgers, fries, and wings. And they're delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cool little place with its own flair.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd recommend to give it a try!

Somewhat of a hidden gem. This spot located off of Broadway in Everett is a great American style vegan restaurant! [[HIGHLIGHT]]When you walk in, the vibes are bright and neon with lots of cool art to see.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was only one server when I went, but they made the experience all the worth it by sharing their favorites on the menu. With a sugar cane stick to support the wing, the sauce, texture and comfort I got from having some vegan wings was amazing. Definitely need to try a brat + beer next!

I am a meatatarian. I am not vegan; I am not vegetarian. I was dragged here for a double date and scoffed at their dairy-free cheese and wild ways of making plants taste like meat. "I'm going to hate this," I thought. No, I KNEW. So I begrudgingly got the Western burger as it had BBQ sauce and an onion ring on it and sounded like the least painful option. And it's one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life. I can't believe I'm actually writing this. I didn't even take a picture of the burger because I was too busy sneering at it when the friendly servers brought it over. I don't even know what the imitation cheese is made of. Or the patty. I don't want to know. All I know is that it was delicious. I can't believe I actually want to go back here. Like, my experience here shook my very beliefs to their core. Bravo, Bayside.

First impressions: Entering the business they have a door bell clicker you click to get service. Seating was quick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While there is new decor, the decor from the old owners, Thai restaurant, remains. Hopefully they can get that removed soon[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The area is COLD. If you are someone who gets chilly or cold easily, BRING A COAT, sweater or just something to keep warm because it is FREEZING.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food came quickly. They offer stubborn brand soda which is the best! We got the soft pretzels with sweet mustard SOOOOO GOOD. The bread was perfect lil crunch and super soft on inside. My husband got a Bacun (yes spelled this way in menu not a spelling error ) burger and I got the classic burger. I was super worried about my carnivor husband and how he would like it, especially when the food showed up. The bacon looks like brown bacon dog strips. You know the commercial, "BACON BACON BACON WHERE? ITS BACON!" Lol. But he took a bite and LOVED IT. He actually was trying to figure out what this animal friendly bacun was so he could buy some lmao! The fries werw awesome too, I dunno if they were cooked in beer batter like the fried pickles or what but were so good. My husband ate it ALL. Lol it was nice to rub it in that vegan food does in fact taste good! Lmao We will definitely be going again! Just with a hoodie next time

It's been a minute since my initial review and I've been back so many times. This is now a different location, much bigger and better, with its own parking lot which I consider a huge plus. As previously mentioned I've been hanging out in Everett for a long time and I never would have imagined this run down Asian restaurant would become a future vegan mecca. Plus now it has a bar area, with pinball even. I would love to see more events/meet ups happening here as there seems to be plenty of space and the ideal spot for vegan socializing. I have now dined here with countless people and every time I go I try to remind myself that I should really go more often. Everything I've had I absolutely love and my non veg dining partners are usually fans too. I try to get something different every time, but I do have my favorites like the ranch dressing and the curly fries. It's fun that they often have weekend specials so even if you feel like you have had the whole menu there are still new things to try regularly. I most recently had a delicious mac and cheese, bacon burger which I begged to have added to the regular menu. I previously found the Yo Egg burger to be really interesting, but messy, ask for extra napkins. My biggest problem with coming here is that it is so hard to choose what to get, thankfully they are always willing to help me decide. The vibe and decor are amazing. Everyone working here is super nice. They are always happy to answer questions about the food. I worry about the future location if they lose this building, but for now it is the best thing ever and you should definitely check it out. This place, in my opinion, is by far the best vegan option in Sno Co.

Bayside is a wonderful place to have some great vegan comfort food! My wife and I are from Seattle, but whenever we are in Everett, we definitely make a stop at Bayside! This spot is an Everett treasure for sure! The service is phenomenal. The staff are always so kind and pleasant to us. The restaurant has a great vibe. It is located in a former Asian restaurant and it definitely has that vibe in its decor, but also has a cool new funky vibe as well! It's definitely a casual ambiance as well. The food was phenomenal. I had the deep fried pickles, BBQ soy curls sandwich, and the confetti cupcake. My wife had the Ramen weekend special (not a regular dish). The food was absolutely delicious and had an amazing taste. We both enjoyed our food and the cupcake was good as well. I highly recommend Bayside for great comfort vegan food eats and we will be back!

I had been there a few times before and had always enjoyed it, so I was actually the one raving to my friend about how good the place was and suggesting we go there. We spent around $65 on our order, and I even left a generous tip. While waiting for our food, we asked if we could sit at one of the many empty tables since the restaurant was only about half full. We were told by who I believe was the owner that we could not sit at a table because they were "running food" and it made things too difficult, and instead were told to sit on the bench by the door. The problem was the bench was already full, so we were left standing there waiting for our order with nowhere to sit. Honestly, it was embarrassing after I had talked the place up so much to my friend. It was disappointing because there were plenty of empty tables available and we were paying customers simply waiting for our food. The interaction felt unnecessarily unwelcoming and left a bad impression.

Food: (5/5) I always drive 164th so I've been eyeing this spot for a long time. My partner and I decided to finally stop by last week and our minds were blown!! We got the fried catfish, collard greens, black eyed peas, corn bread, and sweet potato pie. Everything was AMAZING. The catfish was crunchy on the outside and perfectly succulent on the inside. The black eyed peas and collard greens were both delicious savory additions to the meal with great texture. The cornbread had additions of cheese and peppers, and was a yummy mix of sweet and salty. The sweet potato pie, which we learned Andre's wife makes, was beyond addicting. If we hadn't had a snack before coming, we would've cleared everything immediately. We plan to try everything on the menu, especially the fried okra! Service: (5/5) This was probably the most memorable food experience I have ever had. My friend moved to downtown Everett last year and is still exploring the area. She told me about…read morethe vegan joint nearby that she hadn't been to yet. We're both omnivores who eat a fair amount of plant-based fare for health reasons (I have allergies and intolerances, she's heeding doctor's advice). To be clear, this is a cafe, not a full blown restaurant. They serve luncheon fare, but it's a small operation so be either patient to don't bother - especially if there's a line. It's counter ordering with payment expected in advance. The tables closest to the window are a *little* harrowing because of the ADA ramp that leads to the door: the closest chairs can teeter down the ramp if the chairs are pushed back too far. Be careful. There are huge, regular, and small tables available. The biggest table is a little tricky to navigate for folks who want to sit in the booth side, but once seated it's quite lovely. I ordered the Pesto Pasta (involving zoodles: zucchini noodles) and a Sun Juice. My friend ordered the Grilled Cheese and Bisque. Please note: it's worth looking around this place while waiting for your food. You can conceivably get your own water, napkins and cutlery if you walk far enough along the counter towards the back of the restaurant. Back there, you may also notice a single-occupancy restroom and bins for bussing your own dishes. The Sun Juice arrived first, freshly blended, and was delicious. If that's what their juice is like, I look forward to exploring their smoothie offerings. My pasta arrived looking BEAUTIFUL on a bed of spinach, and smelled just as good. It tasted a teensy bit more of salt than I would've liked, but then I speared a sun dried tomato with my next bite and remembered that I'm not a food critic, just a happy customer. Although I'm not generally a fan of zoodles, they seemed to have the art of cooking them down pat: they didn't distract from the pesto at all. The bisque had an artful design of (coconut? cashew?) cream on top. My friend was delighted to note that it was a bit of spice to it: nothing challenging, but just enough for her to find comforting. Given the light and airy look of the inside and the rather rustic / flower-child look of the outside, she was not expecting that surprise. She was so impressed with the grilled cheese sandwich that she offered me a bite: we were both quite impressed with the "cheese" they used, as the item was listed as vegan on the menu. My friend kept whining that she's doomed, as they're close to where she lives *and* they deliver. Oh, yeah - poor her, indeed. Alas, alack, and so on.
