Fully stocked with everything aquatic you could imagine. Tons of aquatic plants, fish, pond creatures, and just an incredible variety overall. The woman who helped us was a 4th generation family member and you could instantly tell how passionate she is about the business. She basically gave us an encyclopedia's worth of knowledge in 10 minutes and helped us tremendously. Easy parking, great selection, super friendly, and just an awesome family business. After visiting, I completely understand how they've stayed in business for 65 years. We'll definitely be back.

There's promotions on their website & social media pages about a Memorial Day sale this weekend…read more(25% off). I showed up at their opening hours & was told to wait because they weren't ready. Totally get it. After walking in, I decided to move away from the few people already hovering over certain plants. But was then told the section I was in wasn't open or not for sale? Not sure. From my understanding only 1 & a half rows inside of the greenhouse were actually for sale. It's misleading, expensive & and an awkward experience (1st time here). The plants are not cheap. I went to Home Depot after & the plant in the picture was $25, whereas the same plant here was $15 before the sale for something waaaaaaay smaller. This is prob the place if you're looking for a very specific or rare cactus/succulent. I don't think I'll be back.

The warehouse is quite large but not all the plants are for sale as they use them for propagation. I don't have the greenest of thumbs and am not the most educated plant enthusiast, but many plants are not your run of the mill succulent you find at Home Depot, and prices reflect that. The staff are quite friendly and helpful and it was a fun weekend outing plus the dog (yes they are dog friendly).

Been to this nursery 4x before deciding to purchase an Olive Tree. Their worker Keith told us…read moremultiple times that the olive I was looking at would cost $800 alone or $1200 with delivery and install. Went back a week later and the manager working there states the tree is now "1500" at its lowest without delivery or install. Not to mention, the manager had a horrible attitude treating us as if we didn't know what we are talking about when we have years of landscape experience when designing our developments. I have been to 20 nurseries all across Los Angeles and these "Wilsoni" Olive at 7 ft cost between $450-650 without delivery. The manager then turns around and says "you must have not been to Moon Valley" trying to say their prices are so much cheaper when in reality their place is a rip off and Moon Valley is the rip off or rip offs. ALSO, when purchasing from them make sure to check the trees. The Standard Groups olive trees had major scale infection (black bumps fully covering branches), peacock spots on the leaves which you can tell when the yellow leaves have brown circles at the tips or in them, and a good majority of the leaves had bite marks from an infestation. You would think if they're charging a premium they'd at least have healthy trees. I will be going elsewhere to give my business to more knowledgeable, kind, and correctly priced for their quality businesses.
