There is so much room in their nursery for so many plants to grow, which matters for the health of their plants instead of being crammed tightly like big box retail stores. The prices are great and generally cheaper than big box stores and other popular nurseries. I was able to buy 2x 3 ft tall Alocasia Regal shield ($35 each) , a Tricolor Stromanthe($12.50) in 6x pot , an Aglaonema Lady Valentine ($10) in a 4" pot, and a Marantha Lemón Lime Prayer Plant for ($15) in a 6" pot, all for cheaper than other places AND all healthy with no blemishes or pests. Nothing bugs me more than a lot plants that deteriorating condition, which I see a lot in big box stores, and thankfully you don't see really too much of that at Foothill Nursery. Finally Regina, Raschia, and Yolanda all have been helpful and friendly, and are quite knowledgeable, too. Thanks again and I'll be back to get more wonderful plants!

I got a few that had flowers and the fish have been enjoying them as shelter. I love the sunland water gardens for teaching me so much and having everything I needed.

Fully stocked with everything aquatic you could imagine. Tons of aquatic plants, fish, pond creatures, and just an incredible variety overall. The woman who helped us was a 4th generation family member and you could instantly tell how passionate she is about the business. She basically gave us an encyclopedia's worth of knowledge in 10 minutes and helped us tremendously. Easy parking, great selection, super friendly, and just an awesome family business. After visiting, I completely understand how they've stayed in business for 65 years. We'll definitely be back.

Instead of just telling me "no" like the others, he chatted with me...explaining how some succulents are created as a hybrid for one season and often are hard to find again. When I drove here, I was created by Anthony Gardner, a cheery, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and helpful guy who showed real interest in my needs. And I wound up buying three plants for different areas in my garden. Two plants that I needed in multiple flats were sent to one of their many locations closer to me, so I didn't need make that long drive again. Here is my updated review. Since I have come here for a few years now. This is definitely a nice therapy. Kal has a large selection of rare and most loved cactus and succulents. Every time I come here he has a bunch of new goodies to choose from. He knows so much and gives great advice on how to care for your new plants. He really cares to help you. I have also bought somethings from the Etsy shop they have. Now and they he has surprise guest selling handmade pottery and does pop up sales. So I follow them of the social medias to find out when and where. Anyways you will not regret coming here. Highly Recommend! read more

The the street the place looks like a large Green house. You can't tell how awesome it will be till you get in. There was a nice man I think was the owner who is like a walking encyclopedia! He helped me pick out some really cool cactus and succulents. Gave me knowledge of where I can have them sun/ more shade/ watering etc. I had a lot of silly questions since I am new at this and the staff was nice and patient with me. Really appreciate the help and look forward to coming back to check out what they have next time. Thank You read more

I came in here about a month ago. And I totally forgot to do the review. But when I came out and saw the flower blooming on my little cactus it reminded me that I needed to make my review. I'm new to the whole gardening thing. But I got alot of good advice from the guy who helped me pick out my cactus. I felt that they were very reasonably price for such unique little guys. He is very friendly and kind, and we take our bonsai to him every 3 years to get it repotted and trimmed. I highly recommend this wonderful nursery if you are in the market for a bonsai. This experience, however, was so off that I felt compelled to share it. I'm assuming the gentleman who helped me was the owner, although I can't say that with certainty. From the beginning, the interaction felt unusually unwelcoming and dismissive. I came in looking to purchase approximately 30-40 plants, which is a pretty good-sized order. The plants were already on the expensive side because they came in relatively small pots. When I first asked about ground cover, I was immediately told to go somewhere else. I then showed him two plants I was interested in, and he said they would work. I asked if there was any discount or flexibility if I purchased a large quantity. He just stared at me at first, so I clarified that I was hoping to negotiate the price because of the size of the order. I was then told that if I purchased 12, I could get one free. I said okay and decided to purchase two plants first to take home and see how they looked. Despite the initial interaction feeling uncomfortable and being told to go somewhere else, I really liked the plants. My husband and I decided that we were willing to purchase the 30 to 40 plants regardless of the interaction or price because we liked them that much. I returned only a few minutes later and said, "I'm back. I'd like to order 40 of these." I then asked if the one plant I had literally just purchased could count toward the quantity, since I had bought it only minutes earlier and was now placing a much larger order. The response was simply, "No," accompanied by a smirk and a laugh. I was honestly shocked that, knowing I was prepared to purchase 40 plants, there wasn't even a willingness to consider counting the one plant I had purchased just minutes earlier toward the order. At that point, it wasn't really about the cost of one plant. It was about the way the interaction was handled: dismissing me to go somewhere else rather than helping me find the right plant in his nursery, staring at me when I asked about purchasing in quantity, and then being unwilling to consider the one plant I had just purchased while laughing about it. I was genuinely surprised by the interaction and ultimately just walked away and said, "You know what, forget it." I've dealt with businesses where the customer service wasn't great before, and sometimes I've simply tolerated the uncomfortable interaction and proceeded with the transaction anyway. But this interaction felt so careless and rude from the beginning that I just couldn't bring myself to proceed with a 40-plant order. Unfortunately, I left feeling that my business was not wanted, so I took it elsewhere. Update- I found a place for half his costs , local and exact same plants! And the people are nice! Three big wins!

It's that time of the year again, and something in the air drove me to this place. Actually, I…read morewent in hoping to find desert roses, and to my surprise, there they were~actually a lot to choose from in different sizes too. It's not easy finding a nursery that carries adeniums. The semi big ones were a bit pricey, but maybe inflation hit. I ended up getting two sweet little babies to watch them grow, and what's more to like is finding the ones that calls you to take them. It was a hot day, sweating bullets in the green house tents, but I made it through happily!! Love this day walking through beautiful succulents and finding a huge variety.
