This is a nice place to go on vacation with the family. We had a two bedroom, two bathroom, full size kitchen vacation home that was perfect for 6 people. We were walking distance from the pool. There were two pools for us to use; one heated and the other pool was unheated. There is also a hot tub and a slide at the unheated pool. The pool is next to the amenity center which has a gym and game area which includes pool, connect 4, Jenga and other games. Overall, a great place to take the family that is not too far from a city (Kerrville) with eateries. read more

Stayed here for a girls week, what a nice resort! We had a 2 bed/2 bath condo, and of course it was beautiful! It's pretty remote, just outside of Kerrville. They have a gorgeous pool area (two pools), the upper pool is heated and there's also a large hot tub...the workout center is small but has quite a few pieces of equipment and if you feel like walking outside you can walk the road (it's hilly!). They also do a star gazing every Saturday night...pretty great resort to relax.... and bonus, they have cats!!!‍ read more

I love this property. It's a beautiful setting and close to hill country destinations. On this last trip I was given a studio room with a Murphy bed. While the room was to my liking, the Murphy bed was the most uncomfortable bag of knots I've ever tried to sleep on. While I had a two night reservation I couldn't consider a second night on that bed so I left after one night. Too bad, nice property. In the room, the body wash in the shower was empty buy luckily I had my own supply. The pools are very nice but the rails for the steps to assist with getting in/out of the pool are broken. How do you spell liability? I'm surprised they aren't all over it to fix those. I'll be back but not for any room with a Murphy bed. read more

The property at this resort is gorgeous. Our studio apartment accommodations featured a mini kitchen, a Murphy bed, and a BBQ pit on the back patio. (The Murphy bed had seen better days. ) It also included two pools and a hot tub. However, our back door lock was broken and was not repaired even after we reported it. And as always with these resorts, we attended a "short" meeting about the World Mark program that was more than two hours long. read more

WorldMark Hunt Stablewood Springs - Scenery - Resorts Near Me - Ingram, Texas

In Dec. 2023, we stayed at this Worldmark for the second time, and we stayed in a 3-bedroom presidential ADA unit. We love this Worldmark and how relaxing it is as well as nearby activities. Both times we've been were in the winter, but it seems there are plenty of warm-weather activities to be had as well. This review would readily be 5 stars were it not for the following: The Worldmark site does NOT have any description of the 3-bedroom Presidential unit. We use that site for determiniing what units are most appropriate for us. There is NO mention of the 3 Bedroom presidential ADA unit having a second story. I am handicapped but also my parents are elderly. I would have preferred to have the unit be one-story or at the very least, mention that another master BR was upstairs. Prior to our arrival, I had called a couple of times to ask about the 3-bedroom ADA presidential and I indicated that my sister wanted her own separate bathroom. No one mentioned that the 3rd bedroom actually did have its own separate bathroom. Not to mention that the description for the regular 3-bedroom unit says it has 2 bathrooms; and NO description of the 3bedroom presidential. Is it too much to ask for Worldmark to add thorough descriptions for these units? The ADA units typically have this "all in one" laundry machine that is insanely confusing to use. It would be so helpful if you guys could include instructions on how to use them. Some tips for your stay: 1. It is by far the most *remote* Worldmark we've ever stayed it; allow for enough time to actually get to the checkin building. I can't imagine driving there during a downpour. 2. If you are a foodie, I strongly suggest just go to HEB and prepare to cook your means "at home". There are more restaurants in Kerrville than say Ingram, but still in Kerrville, the options are limited. Restaurants in Kerrville are at least 20min away, and teh options are limited. (It is the *country* after all). 3. If it's cold, as soon as you check in, ask for firewood for the very nice outdoor fireplace. It they don't have any, it maybe worth a trip to the store to buy some. The outdoor fireplace is very cozy on a chilly night! read more

I stay at numerous resorts and always look forward to the exceptional amenities offered at Worldmark properties. The suite exceeded my expectations and was very well appointed and comfortable. As far as sleeping...the bed was extremely comfortable and the area very quiet. The bathroom was clean, plenty of hot water, and good water pressure. While Ingram is a small town with limited dining options, Kerrville is close by and offers a lot of options. Excellent property...I will come back! read more

Finally, I have arrived at the WorldMark (WM) Hunt Stablewood Springs resort in Ingram or Hunt, TX, after 2 days of 10+ hours each of driving from So Cal. From the Interstate 10 freeway exit, it will be another 14+ miles before getting to this resort. Anyway, the GPS took me to the Bumble Bee Ranch instead of the resort. Somehow the resort is located next to the ranch and they share some parts of the area. I ended up calling the resort for help. Kim was very helpful and gave me another address to punch into the GPS. I got to the resort without issues. Thank you Kim! Just a tip, it may be best to disclose more specific details in the reservation on how to get to the resort so guests do not get lost or have trouble getting here. It was around 9:00 PM and it was dark. PLEASE BE WARNED... there are a lot of huge crickets (quarter size... maybe even bigger) that are jump happy LOL. They primarily come out at night. Check-in was easy and smooth. Got my unit key. Drove to Bldg. 9. My studio unit was upstairs which wasn't too bad since I only had 1 suitcase, a cooler, and a bag of can foods+water. Loved everything about my studio unit... it was very spacious, comfortable queen size murphy bed, good bathroom space, decent partial kitchen, great sitting area with TV, and lovely balcony overlooking nature trees. The only downside was that my studio unit didn't have a washer and dryer in it. I'm used to staying in units with the latter, but that's okay. I just had to wait until my next resort to do my laundry. My overall 2 nights stay was very pleasant. Resort was quaint and had a romantic feel to it... at one point, I thought I was somewhere in Europe. Maybe the star gazing experience got to me LOL. Staff was friendly and fantastic. Thank you Michael and Bianca for our wonderful conversations and recommending some great restaurants. Also thanks Bianca for offering to wash my clothes for me... it was very kind of you. I didn't get a chance to check out the city of Ingram because I stayed in to rest after two days of driving and that's okay. Happy Worldmark'ing! P.S. You're probably wondering why I was even here... drove all this way to sleep? LOL... well, let me share... WM is a vacation ownership (similar to timeshare, but not exactly... just a whole lot better and amazing) that I purchased in 2000 and I've been a WM owner since and will continue to be so until the end... BEST investment in my life! I wouldn't have travelled the way I have if I didn't take a chance with WM many blue moons ago. I am so very grateful for WM. Thank you WM! One of my life's goals is to stay at all 90+ WM resorts LOL. What a fun goal, huh? I'm about 20+ resorts shy of reaching my goal... yes, you did the math right LOL... I've stayed at 70+ WM resorts so far which took me 22+ years to do... averaged out to be 3.18 resorts per year at least for now LOL. Thanks to my recent TX road trip, it got me over 70. I will boldly and fearlessly continue my journey to more WM adventures! I came here at the beginning of July. All amenities were closed except the pool. They were allowing up to 40 people at a time (3 sessions) to be in the pool. We were able to get in each day we asked. Unfortunately, when we arrived the cleaning crew was just finishing our room. So as we went in and check the rooms, the pull out couch was still dirty with tons of cereal, bbq pit was still dirty and full of ants, and a few drawers had dead bugs in them. (I rather they be dead than alive) At night, I had ants crawl on me and bite up my hand. They were in the headboard and only came out when the flashlight was shined on them. It was just the first night. Almost as if they were just walking through. The other nights, they were never found again. The patio door handle came off, which was quickly fixed when called, and our guest restroom never did lock. We didn't call because we had already called the front office a few times already. The view is beautiful (House 8). The spacing within the house and outside on the patios are nice. The couches were not as comfortable and we thought it was because the pillows that usually would be on there, were gone because of COVID-19. We had to pay for the internet, which we thought was bogus as we were part of Wyndham timeshare members. Overall, its expensive, beautiful and very elegant. Had all the minor setbacks been fixed prior to us arriving. I am pretty sure I would have given a higher review. Horrible customer service. Expedia made a mistake on our reservation and had us booked for the day after we arrived. I was surprised when I was told this when checking in. I asked if we could just pay for a room and get the thing sorted with Expedia. The front desk clerk, a woman whose name I did not get, said NO. I would have to go through their website to book. Their resort is on top of a hill with NO internet. It was 6 at night, dark, and 20 miles from the nearest town. I had to find another room for the night. As our plans were completely disrupted, we did not come back for our stay. The hotel not only refused to allow a cancellation, they refused to respond to BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU on the complaint I filed with them. They may be a perfectly nice resort, but based upon the interaction I had with the front desk, and the property's refusal to address it with me or the BBB, I would strongly recommend against staying here. Customer service is not taught here, period. read more

Pros: 1. Beautiful scenery 2. Front Desk service and hospitality 3. Pool view was nice and daily activities in the recreation center. 4. Stargazing activity on Saturday night 5. Walkable resort 6. Condo has the necessary items to cook food and beds were super comfy Cons: 1. No WiFi unless you're a WorldMark member. So Windham folks beware. This made it very very difficult at times to make calls, check work items, or do school work. 2. Heated pool temp was lowered. We went during spring break and the "heated" pool didn't really feel heated. 3. Hot tub was way way way too hot at times. I almost wonder if someone mixed up which pool to warm up and cool down (see point 2 in Cons). 4. It's in the middle of nowhere. Some people might love that, but getting to a grocery store or a decent restaurant or even a convenience store is a good 15-25 minute drive if not more. So definitely grab groceries in Kerrville from HEB or Walmart before heading to the resort. 5. Pool cleanliness was something to be desired. Also late in the afternoon and into the evening all hell broke loose. I have kids, so I get it but there were times when it was out of control and more like a night club meets a cage match. 6. They could do more to stock items (food, drinks, Knick knacks) in their reception area for purchase. Very sparse. read more

We found this place through RCI looking to exchange points for somewhere close to get away at the last minute. It's the off season around here, but the weather so far has been beautiful. There aren't many guests here right now, but there is a lot of staff. The upper pool is heated to 83° so it and the hot tub are 100% usable and we have (it's January 8 - 14! The recreation area is fun, with giant jenga, giant connect 4, giant chess, pool, shuffleboard, ping pong, corn hole, horseshoes, puzzles, games, a fire pit, and more. The barbecue grills are great, we've used them 3 times so far. We have a 3 bedroom presidential suite and it fits our family of 4 adults very nicely. We cook here most nights and go to town for lunch and shopping during the day. Views are magnificent all over, but especially at the stargazing spot (also great for sunrise or sunset) Lots of wildlife, so drive carefully up and down the switchbacks. read more

Used our RCI points to make reservation. Wanted to reserve one of the presidential one-bedrooms. Could not define that on RCI. When checked in was placed in a traditional room. When a presidential room was available, Bianka, the rooms manager called us while we were in Fredericksburg. Told us that the room is ours from a return. Put us in a two bedroom. Amazing room with a bottle of wine waiting for us. I cannot recommend this place more. The condo is amazing, And the people go above and beyond to make you happy. read more

Charity was an absolute basket case. She initially told us about our room and what a great view we would have. We ended up making three trips to the check-in area because she could not work the computer system or so she said, we could not access our room, finally a maintenance guy met us and let us in. We believe that once we declined the presentation (we are already owners and this trip was to get away not go to an hours long presentation) then our room changed. We ended up facing another building as our "gorgeous view". The rooms AC kept turning off, we called multiple times to try and get someone to fix it. There were bugs in the room not to mention bird poop all over the outside of the building and the stairs and half knocked down nests on the fire post above the doors. The gas grills would not heat up to cook the food, my husband and another resident waited on maintenance to come and fix it, but it still would not heat enough to actually cook a hot dog! The last straw was when we decided to check out early and that is when we had no water, they said they sent emails/texts but somehow, we got nothing, and were told "the well is not pumping right now". Not to mention the Wi-Fi fee of 9.95 a day! which also didn't consistently work, we spent hours trying to get someone on the line to fix it, especially after we paid for multiple devices and only two were able to be used!!! read more

I have a lot of experience with Wyndham/WorldMark and their timeshares are a scam. (We were "gifted" the timeshare as an inheritance.) We had a lot of annoying issues. No safe for valuables. The scenery is okay (late April). The redeeming factor is that the staff are very helpful and courteous. Moral of the story: do NOT let them trick you or someone you love into buying a timeshare. read more

We had such a fantastic time! Truly a beautiful place to stay at! So much scenery and beautiful nature. The resort has a good sized pool plus a heated pool on top. They even have a ping pong table & pool table. At the beginning of the entry to the resort there is even a really nice fountain with picnic table and parking to enjoy a family picnic all on your own since it's just one picnic table. The road to the resort is a little scary if your not use to driving up a hill but is super nice because of the views. Across the resort entry street they have their own private property on the river that is super awesome to view and even have a picnic there too. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. Wasn't crazy about them charging for wifi but it ended up being a pretty cheap deal for several devices to be on wifi so wasn't bad in the end. The rooms itself were very clean with plenty of towels and nice little patio view. The resort isn't too far from Restaurants either that are also very nice because of the friendliness and views. read more

My husband and I loved our stay! It was off the beaten path and so peaceful. It was a bummer it rained, but it was still so pretty. The room we had was a Murphy bed but it was comfy and one of the most beautiful rooms we have stayed in! Definitely will go back! It's a nice place( as expensive as it is). Rooms are nice and spacious. Now to the piont.. You go anywhere and get free WiFi. At the cost of this place you would expect that. No such chance.. costs 5$ on top of your room. Not to mention that the speed limits are for Us citizens. As I was coming in a blue keep does up behind me, riding my rear end(No where far enough for an emergency stop). Only to find out this rotund individual was an employee of the place. read more
