On four different occasions I have brought this to the attention to the store mgr on duty, to no avail. The latest incident involved expired Green Flash and Deschuttes labels. Buyer beware! They have a fairly decent selection (not as good as Lukas, but better than the typical neighborhood store) and fairly typical prices, but apathetic Management that would rather sell expired craft beer to us than deal with a clearly recurring problem. I do most of my wine shopping here and it has always been great. The beer and spirits selection is pretty mediocre, they carry the standards from each category, but you won't likely find something rare or coveted. The big issue, especially when it comes to their beer, is it just doesn't move on the shelves. I've actually stopped buying a lot of my beer from them, especially IPA's because most of the ones on the shelves are several months old and close to, or past the best by date. I later made an innocent comment that I was surprised it wasn't busier for a Friday night. His response was, "This isn't a bar." I never said it was. When I clarified that I simply meant it seemed quiet, he responded that it had been busy earlier, again with the same attitude. By the end of the transaction, I directly asked why he seemed so angry, because nearly every normal question or comment had been met with hostility. Honestly, after that interaction, I can see why the liquor store wasn't very busy. I won't be back.
