And cigarettes! That's big for me, otherwise I'd have to go to Qwik trip or gas station. I was in tonight and saw the coke and cigarettes but they don't have my brand. Before I could even pay he had ordered my brand. And said they will be here tomorrow. These people are wonderful! I needed some champagne for a nearby event and there were only four bottles to choose from and not much above the typical $15 range. The beer selection was basic on a quick glance, especially compared to most of the liquor stores I pop into these days (Mike's, Hy-Vee Wine & Spirits, Plaza Liquor, Lucas, etc.) The woman running the counter was super friendly and efficient, and I could see this being a good spot if you live nearby.

I'm not kidding, see for yourself. Chuck (T's son) will be the best guy in the world. Gotta handshake for every customer, will talk about sports, life, and his newborn baby if you want to chat with real folks. All around good, salt of the earth people. This is the third time we've gone there where they say they should be open but it's closed early without any signage as to why. It was only 8:15pm and they were supposed to be open until 11:00pm. While sipping a taster of a great wine, we asked about restaurant recommendations that were not just BBQ, and Kevin took my information and sent over an extensive list of places all within walking or streetcar distance from Downtown.
