I end up order Buffalo Momo to go it was like a dumpling but serve with spicy tomatoes sauce. It was so good I finish it before getting home. We so amazingly lucky in this area to have access to the cuisine of so many countries and cultures!  One of our favorites is Nepalese so we were happy to try a new casual eatery called Wow Nepal.  The location is pretty simple with a fair number of tables and counter ordering.  The space is airy and the staff is friendly.   We started with a mango lassi which had a lot of mango flavor and a milk tea.  From the main menu, we chose the chicken and buffalo momos.  The portion was generous (8 pcs) and the flavor was good. We also enjoyed the chowmein with chicken.  We also loved the crunch of the pani puri.  They are just a fun and delicious little bite though we haven't mastered adding the right amount of liquid to get the flavor without making a bit of a spillover mess...  Lastly we shared the alu chop potato fritters which were nice and crispy.  If you are looking for a casual Nepalese quick serve, Wow Nepal definitely fits the bill plus the parking is super easy in the big lot out front. read more

Service was friendly however the seating is small & limited. I ordered the momo & chicken Poleko Sekuwa. For the momo I really enjoyed this! The sauce was great pair & plenty of filling inside of the dumplings. For the chicken Poleko Sekuwa, it was a lot spicer than I was imagining (menu indicated no spice). I'm new to the Nepali seasoning & spice so this is more of a personal thing. The chicken was seasoned well however I thought there would be more veggies & salad than given. It was my first time trying the puff rice too! Very interesting however I liked it. Would be interested in trying a noodle dish next time. A small Nepali place in the same strip mall as Ranch 99. Our momos (Buffalo) were delicious. The Bhuttan Khaja Set we were not fans of, but in fairness, I ordered it by accident... I meant to order the branzino, but ordered this Newari style stir-fried goat stomach served with beaten rice, mixed vegetable achar, salad and peanut sadeko. I hate stomach/intenstine, so this was not Wow Nepal's fault, and the waitress comped us a mango lasse, because the dish was a bit spicy for my wife. That was definitely appreciated. read more

This is a review I don't want to write -- because the spot is so small and nice that it'll get overrun quickly. Plan to swing by with a reservation, or request take away. But it is well worth it. It was packed on the night we were there and the small space deserves the attention. Food on all fronts will be a return point for us. I can see this being on anyone's takeout menu rotation. The small business owners have a good first step, and I expect they can grow this well over time. They have the base of something great. Advise anyone who is willing to enjoy the food and flavors. I was immediately greeted and there were several tables occupied and lots of beautiful food on the table. I've never tried Nepali cuisine so couldn't wait. The space is small but cleanly decorated with self serve area for tap water and utensils. I asked the hostess between steamed and fried chicken momo what would she order and she said steamed, so that's what I ordered. My take-away order came out in about 15 minutes, which is acceptable if it's made-to-order. The dough was perfect, nice chew and fresh. The filling could use some work...needs salt and more flavor. I didn't taste the two sauces because I wanted to try the momos in their natural state. Ambiance- nice cafe like restaurant. Kind of small but they can accept larger group. Service- great service and good recommendations. Food - so flavorful!!! I love the spicy Pani Puri. The ones I've had are Indian which had some different spices. Absolutely love the momo in the broth. The flavors were out of this world. The chowmein was good but the other two were standouts for me. The food here is amazing! I am a big momo fan and have been looking for a good spot in NOVA to have them, and I think I finally found it! Their Chilly Momo is very flavorful and is cooked perfectly. I tried Jhol Momo for the first time and it has definitely become my new favorite. The "soupy" base tastes spicy and has a deep peanut flavor, which honestly pairs really well with the momo but also with all of the other dishes we ordered too. Lastly, I loved having the tea with the Alu Chop -- it would make for a great snack in the morning/evening. The waiter was very attentive and nice. Although the restaurant has minimal seating, it was pretty easy to get a table right away during the week at lunch. Can't wait to be back again! read more

This place is a simple walk in and order and seat yourself type of place . The food will be brought to your table and it does not disappoint. I never ate food from Nepal and it was Delicious!!!! So many flavors balanced out just right . The staff was very polite and the restaurant itself was very clean . Wow Nepal stands true to its name! The service, the food, the taste - everything is just wow!
