I brought in my 2024 Subaru Outback XT because I was hearing a squeal from the left rear wheel and assumed it was the low brake pad warning. I asked them to replace the pads if they were worn. They called me back shortly after inspection and told me the pads were actually in great shape -- not even close to needing replacement. Some debris had worked its way in and cleared out during inspection. No upsell, no unnecessary work. Brakes were fine. They also noticed I was at the 42K service interval and offered to take care of that while the car was there. I dropped it off at 8:00 AM and picked it up by 9:30 AM. Fair price, fast turn. John, the owner/manager was very rude and unprofessional. He up-charged the warranty approved amount by over $300 on a $400 bill. I think he took advantage of a stranded out of state young lady. When I called to discuss the bill he ranted about his overhead and the cost of running a business. The warranty company paid his shop labor rate and fair market rate for the parts. I paid the bill so he would release the car. Would not recommend this shop.
