I brought in my 2024 Subaru Outback XT because I was hearing a squeal from the left rear wheel and assumed it was the low brake pad warning. I asked them to replace the pads if they were worn. They called me back shortly after inspection and told me the pads were actually in great shape -- not even close to needing replacement. Some debris had worked its way in and cleared out during inspection. No upsell, no unnecessary work. Brakes were fine. They also noticed I was at the 42K service interval and offered to take care of that while the car was there. I dropped it off at 8:00 AM and picked it up by 9:30 AM. Fair price, fast turn. Great service, honest assessment, efficient turnaround, and genuinely good people. I'm glad to have found a reliable local option for car repairs in Winter Park.

Don was very professional and helped confirm the information we needed in order to exercise the warranty we have on our car. At least that way we could get reimbursed for the repair expense when we returned home. We had the vehicle towed within the hour. Don told my significant other that if we could get it there by around noon, they'd make time to look at it that day. He called a couple of hours after the vehicle arrived at their shop and explained that a wheel bearing was bad, etc. Turns out he had the part for our Nissan, and they had some time in the afternoon since the part for another customer had not arrived yet. He called by 4pm and said it was fixed. The very next morning we were back on the road and our SUV is driving great. They were a big help in being prompt and communicative so that we could we could enjoy our vacation without having to spend too much on a rental car. We highly recommend this shop!

John, the owner/manager was very rude and unprofessional. He up-charged the warranty approved amount by over $300 on a $400 bill. I think he took advantage of a stranded out of state young lady. When I called to discuss the bill he ranted about his overhead and the cost of running a business. The warranty company paid his shop labor rate and fair market rate for the parts. After waiting 2+ hours for our insurance roadside assistance who never showed, we were advised to call Hilly's. I will forever be grateful that we did. Not only was Dom able to get our GMC Sierra towed and to a safe place for repairs, but he even came back the next morning and helped us replace the entire wheel. Ended up needing to remove the axel among other things, with the limited amount of tools we had. Dom brought everything we needed (and made a quick trip to the auto store to get what we did not have). While my 4 year old son and I stayed busy in the dirt ski lot across from Winter Park, Dom and husband got to work at 8am and we were back on the road by 12pm! Their website states "full of good, kind people who know how to treat customers with care and respect." This statement could not be more true or accurate.
