This place gets a very solid three. The reason being, the guy who took my order was super-duper friendly (not in a weird way). There were a ton of things to choose from on the menu, but being as I'm pescatarian (vegetarian who eats seafood) this month, my options were more limited. So I went with the tuna fish sandwich. On the plus side, great portion! On the downside, it wasn't the best tuna fish sandwich ever..not sure why, maybe too much mayo or something. Portions and prices come together here in a very friendly way. DO NOT BE INTIMIDATED, when you first walk in you might be a bit warded of by the tight spacing, lack of actual seating, and clutter of the place. However, behind the counter are fair-prices employees with a GREAT attitude, friendly outlook, and a chef that KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING. For $15 dollars we sat down to enjoy a "Western-Style Burger", which consisted of an 8 ounce ( .5lb) patty with melted american cheese which covered delicious bacon and slightly steamed bell pepper, and a "New Yorker" chicken sandwich which had grilled chicken, tomato, and a basil mayonnaise. We got the Deluxe on the burger, which means it came with fries that were crisp to the bite (though you need to salt them yourself apparently). The food was made as we ordered and it was served hot and fresh, I even managed to scald my tongue a little from the inability to wait for such a delicious looking burger to cool. The food was actually surprisingly more delicious than we expected, and I don't doubt that we'll be back to try other things from their menu. The place itself is frequented by a lot of locals and nurses/doctors from the local hospital are also always walking in. CONS: The only reason it did not receive 5 stars, and had me really thinking about giving it a "3" was that the place was a little messier than it needed to be. A bunch of stools were cluttered against the bar right across from the counter, and there were two tables at the back right against a cushioned bench that was a bit too small to really relax in, and were far from stable. There was food all over the floor, and i nearly slipped on a piece of hamburger patty, but as far as I could see there weren't any pests. All in all, I suggest grabbing some food to go or ordering some for delivery (they don't have a minimum purchase necessary) and taking it somewhere else to eat, like the nearby park. read more

Standard lunch spot with sandwiches, soups and salads. Got lunch here for pick up, which was ready quicker than anticipated. We got the beef gyro platter and the California chicken wrap. Both were great; platter was a sizable portion and fries were flavorful and crispy! The wrap was good, the avocado definitely wasn't fresh though, it tastes like they use those suction-packed avocados. I will go with something else next time. Prices are very reasonable. read more

I ordered a Caesar Salad Wrap for lunch and it was okay. I had been craving a Caesar Salad Wrap for lunch the whole week actually and this was going to be my third different restaurant ordering this Caesar Salad Wrap from around the neighborhood. This one came is last place. (-1) star because the whole sandwich was watery. (The sauce seemed watered down) (-1) star because I ordered it with double meat, yet I couldn't even tell there was more meat. The chicken also didn't seem as fresh as it should. If you want a good Chicken Cesar Wrap, I would recommend getting it from Alex's Deli which is around the neighborhood. In making my UES rounds, I'd been looking for an alternative to my Butterfield salads that was a cut above Pick-A-Bagel. Wrap-n-Run is definitely the answer. They offer enormous, cheap, filling and delicious wraps at recession-friendly prices. The guys behind the counter are fun and friendly, and do seem to remember what you like - even if you're not a frequent customer. It has a bit of a grungy, hole in the wall feel, but for this much yummy food at these prices, you can't ask for much in terms of surroundings. Also, you know, it's not called Wrap-N-Stay. 100000 stars. This place has been feeding me well during this awful corona virus lockdown. Delivery is lightning fast even when they tell you your food will arrive 45-55 min later it's usually in my lobby within 25 min tops. They're one of few restaurants that didn't jack up their prices in Grubhub and seamless and the portions are generous as ever. I usually order an omelet, a burger and grilled chicken wrap at one time to last me a few days. The chicken wraps are okay to eat a few days later if your order it without tomatoes which makes it soggy. I used to go to this place at least weekly. The chicken sandwiches were fantastic. Unfortunately, a few things have changed. They have some new staff members. One is consistently rude, slow, and uncommunicative. He was working the cash register around 4 pm on 4/18. Restaurant management should get rid of this worker because his service demeanor is horrible. On the flip side, the guy doing the grill at this time is a long time worker and is fantastic. You could tell he was trying to make up for the laziness of the cashier worker. Lastly, the food is not as fresh as it used to be. I was astounded how delicious the chicken sandwiches were but lately the food has been of poorer quality. I am saddened that this place is losing its consistent quality rating, and staffing has become a problem. I may try it one more time but this restaurant is on the way out. read more

I gave this place many tries, since I work in the area. Most of the time it was for breakfast. Everyone's friendly but about 3 out of 5 times, they got my order wrong, and once I found something in my breakfast sandwich that was... let's say, not supposed to be there. I should have brought it back to complain (and I take responsibility for that) but when I get to work, I don't have the leisure to just leave to complain about my $3 breakfast sandwich that was messed up. So I just threw it away. Getting my order wrong, on the other hand, is hard for me to really understand. I get that it's super busy in the morning but they usually ask me twice what I'm having and I repeat it clearly to them twice. Great place to grab your morning breakfast if you work in the area. They have great coffee and for a while I was addicted to their toasted w/ butter corn muffins! Wrap-N-Run has great food to-go at low prices. They also have good juices (which cost as much as the sandwiches almost), my favorite of which is the fresh grapefruit. The coffee is good and since Burger Heaven serves bilge water for coffee (though I love Burger Heaven and its coffee is my only quarrel with it), I often come here for coffee and take it over to the corner restaurant. The omelets are better than Burger Heaven, fluffier with better cheeses. It's a big breakfast with ample serving of breakfast potatoes, not the greatest but certainly adequate. The sandwiches and pastries are all great. I would never eat my food there as the cleaning fluids they use are worse than repellent; I feel very close either to puking or suffocating if I venture to the back with the ugly tables. The service is fast and the breakfast is slightly cheaper before 10AM or 11Am. A great place to get a quick bite and take to work or the park or your apartment. The Caribbean sunrise smoothie is out of this world. I added a star because I have been very happy with the omelets of late and that smoothie is just wow! read more

Honestly i love this place. Ive ordered from here 5 times now and each time was delightful as ever. Be warned that delivery takes a minimum of 40 minutes... But you get an estimated time of delivery when you order and its never been later than that. Thats just how it is! I always get the chicken club wrap and let me just say YUM! Wrap N Run is my favorite Wrap place in the city. It is always crowded but service is pretty quick. They have everything. Fresh squeezed juices, yogurt shakes with fresh fruit, parfaits, fruit salads, salads of all kinds, muffins, omelets, pancakes, bagels, cereals both hot and cold, bagels, burgers, fries, sandwiches, coffee drinks, teas, smoothies, cakes, cooked meals of all kinds both healthy and not healthy, and side dishes ,but it's all delicious and high quality. I have ordered just about everything here but my favorite is the wrap. I have tried almost all of them but I usually get the fisherman's wrap. The place is always so crowded apparently the usual customers are not on Yelp. Horrible. We went here because they advertised their burgers. It was a Saturday afternoon, and not busy at all. We ordered two burgers - a cheeseburger and the West Coast burger (cheddar, fired onions and peppers, and bacon) - both deluxe (with fries, lettuce, and tomato). The burgers were excessively greasy, to the point that the buns were soaked and falling apart by the time we walked the 15 feet to a table and sat down. The fries became instantly soggy sitting in a large puddle of grease from the burgers. Adding to the puddle on the styrofoam plate were the onion and peppers on the West Coast burger which had not been drained at all, and so were dripping all over the place. They were also all over the plate, not just the burger. The "cheddar" on the West Coast burger more closely resembled American cheese in texture and flavor (or lack thereof). Absolutely NOTHING had been seasoned. It was all completely bland. Considering there are 5 places within 3 blocks of this place, it is worth paying a little more elsewhere and avoiding Wrap-N-Run at all costs. read more

I usually don't order for delivery because its so hard to find a good place, but I wasn't feeling well enough to cook or go out so I decided to give this place a try since the reviews seemed good enough. I wish I have saved my money and didn't eat anything at all because the food was awful.. I ordered a portabello wrap which was dripping soggy and had no flavor at all, and the portabello mushrooms had a weird ground taste so I ended up picking them out. Instead of the the homefries I ordered I got soggy french fries which I threw away. And the chocolate yogurt shake was way too sweet to even drink. I ended up throwing away most of the food I got, so I don't think I'll ever try this place again. read more

A few days ago, I was jonesin' for a smoothie and happened to be on the UES. I had never heard of Wrap-N-Run, but tried it because it says SMOOTHIES right on the outside. My craving brought me through the door almost involuntarily... I tried the Caribbean Paradise smoothie. At first, I ordered a small (which looked tiny when the guy showed me the cup it would come in), so I ended up getting a large. Little did I know there would be enough 'extra/overflow' to make a second smoothie. So I suppose I got 2 smoothies for $4.30. Score! At first, it was delicious. Pineapple, strawberry, bits of coconut, nonfat frozen yogurt, mmmm. But to be honest, it was TOO much for me and gave me a serious stomachache! The bits of coconut were also annoying to chew after awhile. So if you're looking for a bit of refreshment, get the small size. Or bring a friend to share. ; ) read more

Understandably, it's going to be busy during lunch time; but there wasn't really a line, it was more so people pushing to the counter. Still the most amazing place to get food in the neighborhood, I've been back twice since my last review and the BBQ sauce is back to its regular deliciousness!!! I ordered for pickup last night and had a few special requests in my order and they were all taken care of, this staff is amazing, and my order was just about ready when I walked in so minimal wait time, but there never really is a wait even when they are super busy. Also it was pretty close to closing time when I ordered and the food was still delicious, I've noticed that some places don't care when it's close to closing and you get the bottom of the barrel and not exactly fresh food but not at wrap n run! I actually managed to snap a picture of my texas wrap before digging in this time too. I ordered my brother a burger and somehow he had never had food from there before but he said it was one of the most delicious burgers he has ever had and I said....told you so!. This place can get packed for lunch. But it's alright because you can just order your wrap on the phone and pick it up in 5-10mins. Service is quite fast at this place. The wraps are pretty thick and filled with goods. They can get messy but that's a wrap for you. The wraps are at a resonable price $7. Obviously if you want something healthy, don't come here.
