    Shrimp platter

I've never had the pizza, but the shrimp platter is pretty tasty. It's also a good portion for the price. Restaurant is normally clean, and workers are nice enough.

La Vita is still my go to in the neighborhood for a slice of my favorite white pizza. It's just gets more delicious the closer you get to the crust. I love thin slices of pizza the best. My daughter loves the pepperoni slice. If you're in the neighborhood give them a try!

I always come here for more pizza every time I'm in nyc. Super thin and chewy dough and fresh cheese. Free wifi and lots of choices of pizza and italían dishes like penne vodka pasta. Up per East side. Super close to the 6 train to 96th Street on 3rd avenue. It's on 94th and 3rd. Always nice staff who was fast and kind.

Food is good and reasonably priced. Love that they're open until 2am on weekdays and 4am on weekends. Can't go wrong with any of their food but their stuffed shells and lasagna is the best and get free bread and butter with it too so two meals for one. Staff is friendly

I ordered this for my team because they had been working nonstop and needed an easy and good tasting lunch. When it got to my floor, two different people found hair in the pizza. I contacted the owner, he asked for a picture, I sent it and he never responded. After 3 hours I reached out and his response was "next time this happens, I will bring you another". No apology, no initial response. Pizza was ok, but customer service was a zero. Very disappointed as my staff did not eat an entire pizza.

Came in to get a slice and was overwhelmed by the variety of pies! Ended up with the Margherita pizza and it was great! Speedy and friendly service. Atmosphere is typical pizzeria - no fuss. Would return !

La Vita Pizza replaced Zesty and fortunately it's very good! They have a wide variety to choose from- I'd say more than 20 types. Most are regular shaped slices with some square slices and one or two Sicilian options. For vegetarians or people who prefer veggies on their pizza there's a mushroom slice, an olive slice, an eggplant parm slice, a margherita slice, one with spinach and more. For meat eaters/lovers they have pepperoni, chicken caesar, chicken parm, chicken bacon with ranch, ham with pineapple, sausage with pepperoni and more. I sampled four slices: Baked ziti slice- this was good but not great in my opinion. It didn't have enough sauce for my liking but I asked for some more red sauce on the slide and that made it better. Chicken caesar salad slice- this is a white slice with no red sauce and it's topped with romaine, thin slices of chicken and caesar dressing. It was pretty good! My favorite chicken caesar slice is at Marinara on Lexington and 91st street. Eggplant parm slice- this was really good! It had ricotta, thin slices of breaded eggplant and marinara sauce. I would get this slice again! Sausage slice- this was a cheese slice and I asked them to put sausage on top. It was simple but delicious. I'll be back at La Vita Pizza. They have great variety, good quality and the prices are comparable to other places in the area.

La Vita replaced a pizza establishment that was there just before their opening. I really liked the pizza at the place prior and am unsure of why one pizza spot came to replace another. But like anything in NYC, things come and go!  This is not my first time at La Vita and it won't be my last. I really enjoy their selection of pies - there are so many to choose from. I've experimented with a few different styles of pizza, from the traditional triangle shaped slices to rectangular Sicilian style. Everything is just so delicious and flavorful. Also, I really enjoy my pizza being extra toasted and crunchy and every time I make that request they do so without any qualm, which I appreciate. For this particular order, my roommate and I were hosting a Rihanna Concert/Superbowl gathering for some friends and I. The place we wanted to order from was closed (this was around 6:00pm) but La Vita was open and offered pick up, which we wanted to do since they're around the corner from our place. We made our request and wrote a little note for them to cut the pizzas into lots of thin slices. We were happy to receive messages from the application we used to order, which kept us informed on the progress. But we never got a call or notification saying it was ready, just a time frame. So when we went to pick it up, it was already ready and had been sitting which made the pizza cold. We were happy to see that the request we made was granted and it was cut into many slices. Overall, La Vita is a great place, maybe a little pricey, but work it in terms of flavor.

Finally a pizzeria in the UES close to home with late closing time!!!!!!! Also, with a bunch of different slices to choose from plus other comfort food options with affordable price! So far so good! As said, so many options, clean place, veey friendly and so fast service! Tried veggie slice, margharita, grandma, sicilian and pepperoni (square). All good except the pepperoni one that was very spicy and lacking of cheese. Will try others!

The cheese pizza was delicious. Very quick service and decent seating space. Also very reasonable prices.

4.5 stars. Tons of pizza options up here in the east 90s but La Vita is now my favorite everyday pizza after a few months of eating there. I've picked up slices and had 3 separate pies delivered and it's always fast and on point. Some other nearby pricier pizza joints are better but, within the price range, I think La Vita is a notch above the others in consistency, quality, and speed.

I searched the area for food and this came up. When I got off the train it was conveniently right across the street and very inviting. They do have a small pastry/muffin section, coffee options as well as very good looking lunch amd dinner options. The wrap was smaller than expected but it was so good. The ginger juice was delicious and very gingery. Next time, I will order cassava fries also, should I choose the wrap again if pressed for time. It's a really great vibe. Definitely worth stopping by, bright with café tables outside suitable for good weather, you can enjoy here the surrounding view of New York apartment buildings from the 1910s. It's nice to have an independent, eclectic café nearby, especially with the large picture windows to let the sun in. Used to come here when I moved to the neighborhood more often for a coffee and small bite while working... that is when it was 1927 Café Bar Popular before whatever buyout and conversion to Claire's. That being said for me, honing my own home barista skills and noting Claire's food was a little pricey for what you got, had not been inclined to return for some time. In the interim, its interior has been tastefully redone with warm dark wood accents plus some new items are on the menu. Since I do like supporting local business, after spotting a promo on one of the apps, wanted to give their food another try. Some of Claire's dishes have Mediterranean influences, including Israeli origins. Ordered their "Signature" Pastrami Ciabatta (with Chimichurri, Mayo, Swiss Cheese, Sautéed Onion, Red Onion) and Sabih Malawah (a Jewish Yemenite puff pastry flatbread with Roasted Eggplant, Hardboiled Egg, Israeli Salad, Red Onions, Pickles, Tahini). Both were excellent choices (see pics) with the definite winner being the Sabih Malawah! Its tahini was with prepared with beets, served on the side. Not having had anything like Malawah before, found it delicate, flavorful, and really amazing! The Ciabatta, which I brought home to enjoy while working, was also fantastic. The ciabatta itself had the perfect tender, crispy crust allowing it to hold the delicious melded components. With friendly, attentive staff, I plan on returning to Claire's for eats more sooner than later. Recommend you check them out too!
