The last time I left a review for Wreck and Roll was 10 years ago (give or take) for an amazing paint job they did on my 2004 Toyota Camry (I still have it btw. Still looks fantastic for a 20yo car). Now it's for my 2024 Toyota Corolla which I just bought in January. Some crazy woman decides to blow all traffic signals and crashes into my new car. Needless to say, I knew exactly who to contact. Wreck and Roll handled all the photos, estimates and sent them to the insurance company handling my claim. Everything was taken care of in such a timely manner that I had my car back in two weeks (that's with waiting on approvals and payment sent.). I had it back in time for me to go visit my mom for Thanksgiving. I was completely bummed that my new car was damaged after only having it for only 10 months. Alex is very rude I feel as though I was stereotyped due to being a black female. a 3rd party business referred me to them, and said wreck and road had to order the parts through the company to the store to fix my car. Alex was very rude on the phone asking me who was I for him to have to order my parts. I was following the policy of Best Value auto body and Alex made me not want to bring my car for servicing , as he had an attitude regarding ordering the parts. talked over me on the phone very loud and disrespectful, and I even asked to speak to the manager 4 TIMES AND HE SAID THIS IS THE CLOSEST ITS GONNA GET. Had got my car fixed over a year ago when I got it it looked brand new not going to lie , had a few cons like door had a weird space gap but I wasn't complaining. A year after I was involved in a hit and run and when I was removing the last pieces I had of my bumper I noticed it was being HELD by electrical tape . Like are you serious? I payed 5 grand at the time for a professional job and that's what I got? They said I could trust them and they would get me right but this is what I get they are just trying to bite your leg people . No wonder my bumper fell of so easily. Unbelievable read more

TL:DR This place is awesome and I would highly recommend. I at least 4 or 5 estimates from shops all along south western (if you're from the south side or just visit this side of the tracks from time to time you know there are a ton of shops to choose from). I decided on Wreck and Roll because they gave me a great estimate, the turn around time from the day I brought car to shop to the finished pick up time was significantly shorter than anyone else, and they were just kind and seemed honest. I wasn't disappointed. They did amazing work, the paint job sparkles with a bit of glittery shine, just like when she was new. Believe me, this sparkle isnt a given, as I have had some other shops use the worst paint. Paint that was flat and cracked and just awful. Not here. These guys gave me a VERY fair (best estimate from all five shops), and the work was amazing. I recommend these guys to everyone and would not hesitate to bring my car back if I needed any work again, They also just had an overall nice, friendly vibe. Sal was at the front desk when I brough my car in. He is personable, very friendly, and extremely honest. He checked in with me over the next few days to make sure I was ok with any (it was minimal) extra work or extra fees not discussed during initial consult, He also asked if I wanted a few extra (cosmetic) details taken care of (things like clearing, cleaning headlights, etc) which I greatly appreciated. An incident with my vehicle causing a (not so) slight mishap when the entire drivers side of my car fought a wrought iron fence. In my haste to BREAK IT UP! and disengage these two, I stomp stepped on the gas, maybe misjudging the distance betwixt car and fence. This resulted in losing the battle of car and fence that resulted in a scraaaaaapiinng of the entire drivers side. Then, for good measure, I thought 'ahhh, hmmm... hey, you know, why not? even stevens, huh?" where I then proceeded to reverse (again misjudging distance, even more so this 2nd time), where out of embarrassment and sheer panic I just. kept? going? reverse full pedal to medal and again heard the awful scraaaape of wrought iron against whatever metal honda civics are may be. Nice neighbor guy then helped me maneuver so as to not inflict further damage upon the body of my very dutiful and loyal horeseless carriage, I'm not sure where I would be if he wasnt there to direct me away from the mess of gnarled and torn metal. . Maybe I was meant to become one with my honda and this gnarled iron fence. Perhaps we could have had a transactional symbiotic relationship, subsisting off each others tears and misfortunes. And I would become dually yet somehow also at one with nature, all of nature, interspersed with city, dirty city. Smog and dirt and sky and leaves and trees. Ok, so I may I have had enough to make do and construct a huge spider web. Although I cant claim spider identity since I am not a spider nor do I belong to any arachnid group, sub or otherwise. In order to not offend anyone claiming arachnid and / or spider identity who try tto gatekeep me from the spider community, I suppose I'll stay in my lane and away from spider archne semantics. So maybe perhaps I am, yes I mean I would, I would put together a gnarly gnarled homo sapien tethering in which to lure and trap alley creatures? Or, even better, I would eternally prefer, excitedly prefer, my web home to be referred to as lesbian weavings and silk threads with the lightest dusting of mucosal adherence? I would surely be able to catch alley rats, insects, maybe a squirrel or two, so many of them, Im sure. Livin off tha fatta tha land, the American dream ! I can and am and then of course there I am living off rain, snow and morning dew. For the quenching of thirst, of course. Good times, good times. Glimpses so very inconsequential turning moments incontrovertible. The effects of cause that cause upon an effect always affecting this, that, always the miniscule minutiae, this that, the all where we pass with surely no recognition, no known, no all, no recognizing us, you, me, each other, neither or nor as smotes, as floating tinkerings of dust in this eternal ray of sunshine. Ahem, let's continue...Months and many specks of rust later, I decided to shop around in order to fix up my poor little bundle of joy, especially since her wound was infected with ferrous sulfate and certain was I automobile gangrene may set in sooner rather than later. so with the quicks, with nothing but a hop skip and jump, I desperately sought out medical care across our fair city. In addition to the seriousness of her health condition, I also know she gets embarrassed being seen in such hideous disrepair, so it was essential the shop be skilled in operational mechanic's as well as in aesthetics. The passenger side window was struck and broken. Not only did W&R repair it, it looked like nothing ever happened. Their demeanor was very friendly and inviting. They gave me a timeframe for the repair and it was repaired within that time. The price was right too. Poor services. Lies about pick-up time. My car was not ready at the time I was given when I communicated that I needed an honest answer because I needed my car to leave town the next morning. They also attempted to glue my bumper back on to the body of my car, which fell off again weeks later. They also told me they would wait an extra 10 minutes after closing so I could pick up my car and no one was there. TERRIBLE SERVICE. FALSE POLITENESS. DISHONEST. read more

Wreck and Roll in the heart of Englewood, like many other businesses that set up shop in black neighborhood give by far some of the worst services I've seen. From the constant lies of the front desk Server Sal, who plays guessing games as to what's wrong with your vehicle to the mechanics who works when they want. He uses a substandard diagnostic gadget that gets nothing right. I come in to see if they can diagnose and fix a code that came up on my engine when I went to get the emission test. He diagnose it and said there was an air vac leak which he did socalled fix it and said I would have to drive the car around for a couple days cuz it would take a minute for their work to be diagnose as complete. Couple days later engine light comes on he looks at it and says it's the map sensor fixed it and said that should resolve the problem, I'm $250 in at this point. A day later engine light comes on again I bring it back Monday morning September 30th, he states it would be ready by afternoon, I come back and as usual his word was just talk and as usual I'm witnessing an upset customer complaining about there car not being fix right or not ready when he exclaim it to be ready, this happens every time I come here. Anyhow I'm here Tuesday afternoon October 1st and he hadn't even order the part but now claims the part would be here by 3 and vehicle ready by 4pm. Mind you this been going on for over a week now. To sum things up Wreck and Roll are unprofessional, disingenuous and misleading with their pricing. They or Sal Judeh gives a low price and , can beat every other mechanic price regardless of the job just to get you in the door and once in, the story changes as to what's going on with the vehicle. I would tell anyone to look elsewhere for services to your vehicle. Bypass this place to save yourself money and time wasted dealing this mess. read more
