Not only did they get me done in a beyond timely manner because I didn't get a rental. They had the best customer service around. The time and detail they put into my truck was beyond phenomenal. My truck looked brand new after they were done with it. Replaced my bulb that went out while they were working on that side for me. I wrecked my car on 4/10 where my front bumper is damaged along with radiator fluids leaking, and my insurance found Metro Collision Experts for me. I was skeptical initially as I do with anything car related, but it reassured me a bit seeing their positive ratings on BBB, Google and Yelp. I gave them the yes to start work, they towed my car to their shop from my home, and I was given an update throughout the process which I appreciate. I received my car on Friday 4/21, it's pretty quick turn time, and they sought out the parts etc. My only complaint is that they didn't show me my vehicle or have me test drive it myself before they had me pay my $500 deductible. They are also only open Monday through Friday from 8-5, so I came during my lunch break. It was pretty quick and easy. I paid, and I was given my key and was told my car will be over there. Other than that, my car does look brand new and was running smoothly. They said they charged my car's battery while they were fixing my car. They seem to be honest people who told me what they've found, and it seems to be whatever needed to be fixed was fixed. They also told me that they've been servicing a lot of Kias and Nissans recently. I do recommend them to anyone in the area looking for their vehicle to be fixed after an accident. They will communicate with you and let you know the status of your vehicle etc. read more

My car was taken here a day after a major accident. Ironically, I was never consulted or given a choice of where I would like to take my car. I was at the mercy of my appraiser. Once they called to let me know the car was ready for pick-up I noticed that underneath the hood the parts that housed my Intake air sensor and Mass air flow sensor was missing. In essence, without the housing my sensors were also missing. Therefore, as I looked under the hood I was able to see the asphalt. They repaired it but for me it was a wasted trip. Futhermore, the price to repair the car was 1/3rd more than what was quoted. I couldn't help but wonder if they schemed the insurance company out of money because they fixed the body of the car but didn't fix the interior problem (i.e. air flow sensor and mass air flow sensor). If I were asked for a recommendation from a friend or family member it would not be this shop. read more

AVOID! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! I came here to get my car fixed and they decided to put a completely different sized hood on my car and try to hide it by adding an elastic band where the gap is showing. After a MONTH of taking my car here my cars transmission completely failed. I NEVER had these issues before taking my car here, it's a 2016. The fender liner broke off on my car and needed it repaired right away. I was paying out of pocket which made me think it should be something that could be taken care of right away. I went to 2 other shops and they told me 2 weeks! This was the only place that said they could get it done right away. These guys are awesome! My car was wrecked pretty badly and I had to pay out of pocket and they worked with me to ensure I had time to pay off the balance and they also completed my car fairly quickly and the end result has my car looking brand new. Andrew was great with communicating and following up with me as well as Kurt who was equally as nice and helpful. There was also another employee who was very helpful but I didn't get his name. I basically live on the other side of town but I would travel the distance to their shop again just because they have great customer service, they're honest and compassionate and they complete jobs with lightening speed. This shop does good body work horrible Machanic though. My car was here last year I was swiped from side and hit a curb threw the whole suspension out. when I got the car back it looked good but the suspension is still messed up making noise until this day. They offered to bring it back and fix it but I do not trust the mechanic if your just getting body work done here no worries any Mechanical or electrical issues good luck. read more

Metro received my car via an insurance claim & the repair was completed within a week after receiving approval. Metro's business hours are 8am-5:30pm Mon-Fri, which created a challenge for me to pick it up as my work shift ends at 5pm Mon-Fri. I don't work on the weekends during the time they are closed. I arranged to pick my car up Friday, 2/13 with Andrew. With the help of a friend, I left work approximately a half earlier on Friday the 13th to allow time for me to arrive to Metro before they closed. I communicated to Andrew when I was in route. We were then delayed by a road closing/detour at 47th & Kedzie and I immediately called Andrew to inform him. However, I didn't speak to Andrew, I spoke to Frank. Frank didn't seem too happy to hear the news & appeared to become frustrated and proceeded to speak to me in a rude manner/tone. He told me it would take another 30 mins to get to the shop and he has a basketball game at 6:15pm & I asked if he could please wait for me. In a loud voice, he said " Fine!...I guess I'll see you whenever you get here!" The traffic was very congested causing us to arrive at 6pm. I called twice as we approached 73rd & Kedzie & I received the voice mail greeting each time. Upon arrival, the shop appeared to be closed. We knocked on the door & rang the bell. No one answered so, we left. I'd planned to drive my car to visit my daughter & granddaughter that weekend but had to postpone my trip. In the meantime, I'd become ill over the weekend. I wasn't sure if Metro was open for business due to President's Day the following Monday so, I called early Monday morning to confirm but, there was no answer. I called about an hour later...received vcml greeting again. I called approximately 10:30a/11:00a and confirmed with a man (not sure if it was Andrew or Frank) that they were open for business. I thought I would have been feeling well enough to operate my car that day but, turned out, I wasn't; My illness had become worse. I attempted the same Tuesday and Wednesday (the 17th & 18th); However, I was unsuccessful. I visited my doctor Wednesday the 18th and was diagnosed with a bronchial virus. Due to extreme cold weather conditions & in my efforts to heal & properly medicate myself, I decided to stay indoors & rest. However, I continued to contact Andrew informing him of my status. The conversation went like this... Me: "Hi, is this Andrew?" Unknown man: "No!" Me: "Is Andrew available?" Unknown man: (No response) Me: "Hello" Unknown man: (Yelling) "Andrew!...Get in here!...This is that retard with the Altima!...You tell her that if she..." I was totally shocked and surprised at the derogatory word that was stated to Andrew to describe me. I could not believe I'd just heard that. It was all the same as if I'd been called the "N" word. Still in awe, I did all I could to maintain composure. Andrew: "Hello" I thanked Andrew for waiting for me possibly as long as he could the previous Friday (the 13th). I further explained what my challenges had been in picking up my vehicle (their business hours and my illness). I told him that I will have to receive my supervisor's approval to leave work early to get to the shop. He also told me they would be willing to release my car to someone I select as another option in retrieving my car. I told him I will give him a call Friday once I spoke with my supervisor. He said ok and we ended the call. Andrew was just as pleasant and professional during that phone call as he has been since our very first conversation. I immediately called back to confirm that Frank was the person who answered my initial call. In which case, Andrew confirmed that it was, in fact, Frank. Out of concern of retaliation & since my car was still in Metro's possession, I decided it was best to refrain until after I gained possession of my vehicle. While I was there, I heard Andrew call Frank "Dad". Frank volunteered to express to me that Andrew is the nice one. I happily smiled & spoke in agreement & grabbed one of Andrew's business cards from the counter. The repair work appeared to look fantastic & I was certainly pleased. I appreciate the patience & courteous service provided to me by Andrew & Bernie (he took the time to remove the ice from my windshield washers today). I also realized & appreciate the fact that I was not charged storage fees. Nevertheless, that does not negate nor compensate for the fact that Frank called me a retard to his son, Andrew, and can certainly benefit from a few courses in Professionalism, Proper Telephone Etiquette, Quality Customer Service, Sensitivity, and Slander (just to name a few) from Andrew and Bernie. Frank, you may want to mute the phone or hang it up before the next time you decide to call someone a retard or any other derogatory name. How about not calling them one PERIOD? Have more respect for yourself & others! Consider this advice a gift as the next person may not be so nice. Best Regards! read more

I was all but forced to use this body shop from Apollo Casualty Insurance, I had the claim check and was ready to bring my car in after much deliberation and hesitation on my part. However, they never called me back and have left me hanging. Use a body shop you trust and save yourself the time and hassle and just file your auto claims through your own insurance company when dealing with Apollo! There estimates are low for a reason! No body shop would cut their labor rates in half just to accomodate third-rate insurance companies! read more
