And on the completely other end of town... The tacos el pastor are reminiscent of the tacos I was eating on the shores of Los Cabos with bits of pineapple giving a little umph to the marinated pork. And the tamales wrapped in banana leaves took me back to the Yucatan peninsula with the uniquely seasoned and wrapped tamales. Their food is just amazing! The service is good, too. You order at the makeshift counter (this is an outdoor stall of sorts situated with Chilean and Salvadorian neighbors) then they deliver the food to your table along with salsas and flatware. While there isn't air conditioning, luckily there was a nice light breeze when we were there. This trip we very much enjoyed both Mexican and Salvadorian food. Unfortunately, the Chilean stall was closed. I guess we will have to return! That won't be a problem, I'm looking forward to more of this places delectable cuisine.

My friend and I enjoyed lunch the second week of June, and even though it was a hot day, it was not unbearable in the cool shade of the oak trees at this location on the south side of Creighton. I ordered a torta sandwich and a taco. The tacos comes with two shells so I typically split the meat, add the onion and radish topping, and make one green sauce and one red sauce. These sauces are excellent but be warned they will light you up. If you enjoy street tacos you owe it to yourself to give these a try. Call ahead for carryout to save time.
