WRONG WAY is a more appropriate name for this business. My HOA called them in to do an assessment on some issues with my condo. First, they had to schedule separate visits for each and every little thing which dragged things out. Then they cut a square foot hole in my drywall and assured me that they would repair it. They didn't mention it would cost me $800! When I asked the representative for a breakdown of costs, he came back with a quote of $3400! Just to fix one square foot of drywall. They told me two of my ducks weren't sealed properly, but failed to repair the ducts because they said they were unreachable, which was a lie. I had someone else come in who reached them just fine. WRONG WAY simply didn't want to do the work because they wanted to charge exorbitant rates when they thought the HOA would pay it. When they realized it was up to me to pay for the repairs, they didn't want to bother with me because they couldn't get away with it. They wouldn't return my calls and would send inexperienced service people out to do nothing but waste my time. This company is a complete rip off. read more

Wish I could leave a ten star review! We had a lift station pump fail and our business (ice cream store) flooded. Wright Way emergency services responded and immediately formulated a plain to remediate the damage, remove the water and the excessive moisture that had already seeped into the wood flooring and trim, all the baseboards both customer facing and in our prep area. From start to finish our experience and results could not have been better. Our Project Manager Matthew was outstanding! He could not have been nicer or more thorough in his evaluation of our needs and in explaining it so well. This is an extremely well run business that cares about its customers and are experts in the emergency services they provide. I want to start my review with "Thank you so much" for Wrightway Emergency Services and extend it to Teresa Diaz... I had bought furniture from Rooms to Go, last year and took out insurance on it, as most people do...You pay for it but if you want to have it replaced or repaired due to any damaging that is occuring on the tops of the Bedroom bureau and 2 night stands, or any furniture that you may purchase they will a send a tech, which this one came without any meters etc, and said that it is caused by moisture in the room and it was not covered in the insurance...That tech changed is tone because he stated to me that it seemed as if the top surfaces of the three pieces, didnt have the top laminate sealer on top and they should replace all three pieces. He was sent over to repair the furniture, but does not repair the top surfaces and it had to be returned and replaced. Well, I called Wrightway Emergency Services right away and spoke directly to Teresa Diaz.. ...She is the BEST..She will work with you the whole way...They were here previously last year with some moisture issues and knew that there was no moisture in that room so she did send over one of their top tech Paul Patterson, to determine what it was .. Low and behold, there was NO moisture levels at all from the meters and stated it seemed to have been the furniture not from any moisture in that room. Paul did write up a report, with photos of the moisture levels, etc which Teresa forwarded to me for the Insurance co. The second tech from the insurance co of Rooms to go, came by due to a request that I wanted another tech to determine what he thought and stated that it seems to have been chipped due to something on the surfaces which made it that way. Well, Wrightway Emergency Services has worked with me closely on this and I want to say that no other company would of gone above or beyond to help out...I will now forward the report to the Rooms to Go Insurance Co, and go from there...! Had mold in our community pool bathroom. Called Wrightway. They came immediately that Wednesday. Gave the gentleman my contact info. Friday Theresa from Wrightway contacted our association manager to say the report was ready. I emailed and left a vm for Theresa to please email the report to me. Nothing. Monday I emailed again and left another vm. Nothing. Tuesday I called the office, Theresa was out, spoke to someone and asked for the report to please be sent to me as the mold was getting worse and we wanted the work to start immed. Nothing. Emailed Theresa asking again for the report, nothing. Called Wednesday and asked for a manager to call me back. Nothing. Emailed and left vm for Theresa. Thursday evening she finally responded via email and aplogized, said she would get the report to me immed. and the cost would be $10-$15,000. Today is Friday morning, 17 hours later and nothing. Would not recommend this company. read more

I don't usually write reviews but felt compelled to after my experience with WrightWay ended up mirroring *exactly* what many other reviews warn about. It was enough to motivate me to want to warn others, too. In short: WrightWay is for the most part made up of pushy, evasive, poor communicators, who leave you with no choice but to feel like they are actively trying to swindle you. They are a blight on Florida businesses and I would recommend avoiding them if you can. My mother had just passed away in FL in 2021, and her condo was unoccupied for a few weeks. A leak occurred, and WrightWay, tied to the HOA as the emergency contractor, was called to handle. Teresa, the lead, was informative and helpful at first - I confided in her that I had never been a property owner and my mom had just died, so I was green when it came to contractor stuff, and appreciated her handholding as much possible. Probably a mistake to reveal all this, especially since I was out of town, so not present to monitor the repairs. But I put my trust in Teresa and let them know everything. Do watch out, as others note - they make you sign a blank contract through Verisign first thing, before it's clear what the work is or what the cost entails. A few days after the initial repair, I got a VM from Theresa that could only be described as frantic: "We have a mold emergency! We've got to take care of it!" etc etc. This kicked off a long, drawn out process where they tried to sell me on a mold remediation that would have cost 15K out of pocket, using stalling tactics, poor comms, conflicting info and data, and evasive maneuvering and pressure that was completely not reflective of the actual scope of the mold issue or repairs needed. First, they told me they had found mold- then, that they needed to do a Mold test to confirm. I said ok. I waited patiently for the mold test results, as well as the actual final estimates on the leak repairs and the potential mold repairs. Ron, their numbers guy, would call me incessantly to basically push for me to accept repairs/the idea of a massive mold remediation, and when I would politely ask about what the mold results actually were, he would say they were still waiting. When I asked what the concrete estimates were, he would say he was still working on them. This lasted for weeks. Finally, they said I'd have to pay an extra 850 dollars simply to SEE the results of the mold test - never mentioned in advance. And then, without confirming anything about the mold test (where they found mold, how much, etc) they presented me with all the estimates, for something I was given no conclusive information about, claiming they needed to remediate the entire condo for 15K. Some in my circle even theorized they were stalling on the estimates to try and make the mold situation worse at the condo over time, in order to push me towards larger remediation. Eventually I told them I wasn't interested in the remediation, especially because they had been so cagey and it was way too expensive. I had started using the habit of cross-checking with my HOA on the details presented and found out most of what they said wasn't true or purposefully vague. Sure enough, 2-3 months later, they called out of the blue saying they had to get in to do the final repair. Like pulling teeth to even understand what they needed to do - it involved removing a small mold strip the side of my finger by the dryer - mandated by HOA. That's it. To add insult to injury, after the work was completed (and 7.5K dropped for fairly minimal repairs) - Mark and his team moved the washer and dryer and some of the floorboards out into the living room and just left them sitting in the middle of my dead mother's condo. No communication, no reasons, nothing. My aunt found it that way and notified me. I confirmed that moving the washer/dryer wasn't necessary for the repairs and if it was, there was no reason to not simply put them back. I called Mark and he personally told me he would go and move them back immediately - great - he even asked for my Aunt's phone number to schedule access with her. Never happened. I returned in person months later and they were still there. I called WrightWay this July to ask about it - the dispatch person rushed me off the phone, saying the work was "closed" and emptily claiming someone would be in touch. This was a month ago. Never happened. I get it, these larger emergency repair companies are looking to make a profit. But when dealing with them becomes so unpleasant, confusing, and arduous - I can't in good conscience accept that as a standard part of doing business. It's even sadder that so many folks don't even hire WrightWay out of choice, they are stuck with them because their HOA or other tethered entities call them in for emergencies. After dealing with close to 10 lovely contractors in the last year in that area for my mom's condo work, I can tell you WrightWay is not the norm, and should be avoided if you can. read more

IF I could leave 7 stars it still wouldn't be enough for the concern, effort, assistance, planning and quality of work that WrightWay has provided to us! Having been in the fire/rescue emergency services field for over 50 years I have worked with a lot of people who come to aid people in need. WrightWay has exceeded any previous experience in so many ways. While our problem wasn't an "emergency" that had to be done immediately it was a problem that needed to be done promptly for medical benefits. Teresa Diaz was, and I do not use the word loosely, AMAZING in just about every way. She immediately recognized the issue, identified the things that needed to be done, recognized and worked - above and beyond - with budget issues, both time and financial, and made our problems go away. In so many situations scheduling to get things done are a problem, but Clarence called and was always cheerful, respectful and able to help us get the people here at convenient and appropriate times so that the job got done - and done well. From the removal of the dangerous materials, to the repair work done by a firm specializing in fixing our problem, to the final restoration to a finished look by Jeff and Csaba we couldn't be more pleased. We hope we don't ever need such service and assistance again, but if we do, or if you ever do, we know that WrightWay can be counted on to get the job done, and done with the highest quality of service and experiences and with the most incredible values imaginable. I gave one star, as there is no 0 star rating:(. This company was paid to remove and reinstall floors in our home. Proper standards were not followed and corners were cut, and only 3 months after the "completion" of the project all the floors in our house are buckling, sliding, and popping up. We are at 1 Year since the initial claim was made, and still living with an unfinished home. Though they have promised to "make it right", they are arguing to keep from completing all the work necessary to properly install the floors. Manufacturer of floors, three contractors, and our initial claim say that ground cover in crawl space must be installed to prevent buckling, but their representative struck this from the scheduled work and advised us that installing it would make moisture worse? Additionally they installed our solid wood floors without any nails and left no space around perimeter, and did not acclimate the wood---another industry standard ignored. We still do not have resolution, can't walk in our living and dining rooms, and more than likely will have to pay out of pocket to redo the majority of the project they were paid to do, so that our home will not lose value and once again be habitable. Do your homework before hiring a contractor. This company was recommended to us by an insurance associate who had a great experience with them in the past--we should have talked to present clients. We had to move out of our home for three months, no one supervised the sub contractors at our house, we had items stolen and had to change the locks and file a police report for missing items and threats made to us when Wrightway didn't pay subs. Out home was damaged, and though Wrightway did fix some of it, we have had to spend tons of time and money repairing the rest. They did not pull appropriate permits until we refused to sign insurance check, then did so in arrears. The movers broke several of my antique furniture items, then tried to repair them, but damage is permanent. They fired our project manager, and the new person they put in place did his best to try to clean up the mess, but we are still not completed, and floors are worse now, then when we made the original claim. So disappointed by this whole experience. Sharing with 8 on your side, my attorney, and friends so no one else will go through this nightmare.The stress of not having full use of our home for almost a year has definitely taken its toll on our family. Was told by the boss that estimates would be submitted the following day, 12 days later they were finally submitted to insurance company. They would not return my phone calls. I thought it would be seamless to have them do the restoration work. They told me I would not have to do anything with insurance, that they would take care of everything. If insurance didn't pay they said they would collect on my behalf UNTIL the work started and my insurance company would not pay their ridiculously high prices. I then received a call that they had a "change of company policy" and I had to pay out of pocket and go after my insurance They double and triple charged for supplies they purchased at Lowe's and Home Depot. Thank you to the management team for acting quickly and appropriately on our complaint! ****************************************** Original issue: I had a flood in my house and hired WrightWay services to mold remediate and re-construct. Upon an emergency visit I had to sign a contract stating we would use their services - without receiving a quote or estimate... I signed, because we had a flood! Upon completion of the mold-remediation work we found out that they had billed our insurance for a) work that was not done, b) equipment that was not used. Upon questioning WrightWay they said that because our insurance approved the scope then "it's ok". I explained to them that if you bill for something and do not do it or bill for equipment and do not use it then it is insurance fraud, theft and illegal! The insurance company is going off your word that you are doing what you say you will do, and use what you say you will use! I tried to cancel the construction project with them but they claimed I signed an agreement guaranteeing them work. I do not want them to bill my insurance again as I saw their construction quote and AGAIN they are billing for things we do not need and they will not use. I found another contractor and bought material. WrightWay are now saying I owe them a $670 cancellation charge, and are also now refusing the work even if I wanted them to do it because I breached their contract by buying materials. No where on the contract does it say that I can't buy materials. read more

With 25% of my home ruined by water that turned into a lot of mold, they immediately knew what do and their knowledge was incredible. I had another company come before Wrightway to evaluate the situation. No comparison and thank God, I went with Wrightway. From the first time, they came and Ray and the team estimated the project with honesty and integrity. Every employee that came to work on the project was on time, considerate, professional, knowledgeable about their area of expertise, worked hard and was a pleasure to have in my home. When my home flooded, our HOA contracted Wrightway to perform remediation on our condos. During the demolition, ceramic tiles were broken, doors were damaged and countertops destroyed. Wrightway said they wouldn't cover the damages because they were installed improperly. The invoice included work that was never performed and square foot numbers were inflated 2-3 times in some cases. What came in at $30k+ could have been done for 1/3 the price. FEMA is now reviewing all charges. read more

Wrightway was called to the home by Leak Detectors after a pipe burst in a bathroom. They immediately set up dryers, tore out wallboard, carpeting and cabinets and encouraged me to enter into a contract with Wrightway assigning my insurance coverage to them. "Randy" assured me they would take care of all the damage and bill my insurance directly. The contract was lengthy and presented to me on a phone. Randy quickly scrolled through the contract and In my panic over the situation I signed the contract. A project manager "Michael" was assigned to my case. A meeting was set up with the project manager "Michael" and the insurance adjuster When I met with the Michael he told me he had had an (unnamed) mold inspector come to the house the day before (without my presence, knowledge or permission) No mold inspection report was ever provided to me. "Michael" proceeded to tell me that mold was found throughout the 3200 square foot house and was due to one small leak in the second bathroom. Michael said the entire house was affected. Michael also indicated the state health department would have to be notified which I perceived as a veiled threat designed to frighten me into agreeing to the mold remediation. The insurance adjuster did not find any mold, nor was mold detected by the plumbers hired to repipe the house, the county plumbing inspector or any of the myriad of drywall professionals, painters, etc. working on the house. Further "Michael" told me Wrightway could not repair the drywall, carpeting, torn out cabinets, etc. for at least 8 weeks. This house belonged to an elderly gentlemen who desperately needed to sell the home in order to pay for his assisted living expenses. Michael knew this but his only concern was to coerce me, as the power of attorney for the elderly owner, into signing a contract for $15,000.00 for non-existent mold removal. I canceled the contract assigning the insurance to Wrightway and hired my own contractor to clean up the mess left by Wrightway. My insurance company was very cooperative. My contractor was great and the job was completed in two weeks. Never use this company for anything other than a simple dryout. read more
