    Wrigley's Italian Beef Sandwich!!
    Patrick B.

COUSIN!! THIS PLACE IS GREAT!! Had not heard of the Italian Beef sandwich before watching The Bear. A recent segment on Sunday Morning on the sandwich and the show inspired me to do a google search of Italian Beef's in CLT which led me here. Full disclaimer is that this was my first IBS so I cannot attest to its authenticity as compared to those made in Chicago. What I can say without equivocation is that Wrigley's version is AMAZING!! It is absolutely stuffed with well seasoned beef with the peppers on top. Wrigley's is located in a ghost kitchen and I will admit to being concerned with how the sandwich would travel given the legendary juice from the beef. Far from being a soggy mess, the bread held up very well during the 30 minute journey home. We ordered extra sauce on the side which was perfect. It's a simple sandwich but they really have perfected it. The tots were great too. We also ordered a Polish sausage sandwich. Absolutely fabulous as well. Wrigley's will now be on our go to order out list. Our experience last night deserves more than 5 stars!!

I am a…read more100% service-disabled combat veteran, and the manager, Matt Sigman, forced me, my service animal, and my friend to leave the premises. When I explicitly informed this manager that Copper is a professionally trained service animal, he stated: "I don't care, no animals allowed." Let's be clear: This isn't a "pet" policy issue. This is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Federal law is not optional, and "not caring" isn't a legal defense. To make matters worse, when I contacted the owners, they dismissed my experience with empty excuses. They even had the nerve to claim their main business is "training dogs"--yet they clearly can't train their own staff on basic federal law or common decency. I am unable to function in society without my service dog. To be humiliated and kicked out of a restaurant for being disabled in service to this country is a disgrace. The ADA has been notified, and I am calling on the community to stand with veterans against this kind of discrimination. They have no business running a public establishment if they refuse to follow the law or respect those who served.

Kristophers... tsk, tsk, tsk…read more We have been going for some years now and always enjoyed the 2-for Tuesdays. Have not been in a couple months and decided to pick up a large??? pie for a friend's gathering last night. I run in to pick up and open to check. Hmmm... I see a medium pizza in a large box, with about half the toppings that's usually on it and more crust than normal. I get it, times are harder and food is getting costly, but changing what you serve your customers is not a way to keep them coming. I would have been willing to pay more for the pie if it would guarantee me the same, satisfying pie I had come to love from this place. Do better or don't do at all

They call it a 1/2 pound burger and it is every bit of that. The burger itself was very juicy and full of flavor. I had a side of Mac n cheese. Some of the bits of it were a little over cooked, but pretty good overall. I might try a different side next time. I sat at the bar since I was by myself. I wish I'd gotten the bartenders name, but she provided the nicest service I've had in a while when eating out. Across the restaurant industry, prices have gone up making it more difficult to eat out. It's nice knowing that not all people in the service industry take their role for granted. It made my rare dining trip out worthwhile. Looking forward to going back out to Mac's next time I'm craving a big juicy burger.

The fried pickles were soggy however it was a Door Dash order so that could have been the issue. The egg rolls were good. The mac and cheese and street corn were both good. The mashed potatoes were okay, but not great. We did not like the beans at all. Tried a bunch of sauces. They didn't come labeled so not sure what we liked. Would definitely go back for the ribs, egg rolls, and mac and cheese!

This was my first time trying Chex and I probably would give them 1 more chance to see if they were just having a bad day. I got a 5 piece buffalo lemon pepper wings, a Philly quesadilla, fries and a lemonade. The wings were overly salty (I'm so glad, I only had 5) and the fries were too . Wish they would've sprinkled some of the salt on the Philly quesadilla because it was tasteless and not seasoned at all. There were no onions, peppers, mushrooms or any type of vegetable in it at all. I was highly disappointed BUT at least the lemonade was good. It was sweet but that's how I like my lemonade so I won't complain about that. I'm very disappointed because I had a long day and just wanted a tasty meal to wind down and this was far from it . Roughly $23 wasted on subpar food

There's a reason they are a crowd favorite, and it has to do with the food, the service, and the reasonable prices. I elected to have the Buffalo chicken quesadilla, and we started with an order of cheese curds. They also look like they have some delicious wings and burgers. If I lived in the Mint Hill area this would be one of my go to's when I wanted a nice meal and a drink or two. Nothing fancy. Just good food for a reasonable price!
