My go to checks time and time again. I have found that they are always fast with there orders and keep waiting to a min. Having a teenaged son wings and pizza are in a heavy rotation and Chex is the go to for us. The vast flavor array keeps selection from getting stagnant. The ranch is on point which is very important for my picky ranch devourer. They have specials every now and then and you can beat it when they are half price! I loveee coming here! Every time I come I forget to take pictures because I devour the wings so fast. My favorite is strawberry hot / raspberry hot! The Asian flavor tastes wonderful but it does not have any hints of Asian to it, it needs a new name. I always order online and the wings are ready quick! I have never waited once I get there. This was my first time trying Chex and I probably would give them 1 more chance to see if they were just having a bad day. I got a 5 piece buffalo lemon pepper wings, a Philly quesadilla, fries and a lemonade. The wings were overly salty (I'm so glad, I only had 5) and the fries were too . Wish they would've sprinkled some of the salt on the Philly quesadilla because it was tasteless and not seasoned at all. There were no onions, peppers, mushrooms or any type of vegetable in it at all. I was highly disappointed BUT at least the lemonade was good. I ordered delivery. Apparently they use Uber Eats for delivery. For one steak quesadilla and one chicken quesadilla combo (with fries and and a small drink) my total was $43 and change. What I was charged was $65 and change. $22 for delivery that took an hour and eight minutes for. Plus with their delivery you could never see where the driver was so they could have been anywhere. I was robbed. Sadly this leaves a bad taste in my mouth for Chex and Uber Eats. read more

Good location. It was pretty busy for a Friday night around 7 pm. They have a whole playground inside where a lot of kids were playing and enjoying their time. It seems like the place to go as a parent where you can have a nice meal and the kids able to play and entertain themselves. Pretty big and open space. Employees were super friendly and efficient. We got their seafood salad, chicken, and steak quesadilla with an order of 7 piece buffalo wings. Everything was delicious, and the salad tasted fresh. The wings though were a bit hard and cold. Great place for some takeout wings! Easy to order online and easy pick up. We got the medium buffalo wings and dry lemon pepper - all flats. The medium buffalo wings had a slight kick to them which was the right amount of heat. Next time, I would want to order them a little crispier. The dry lemon pepper wings were perfect to me - great crisp on them and well balanced seasoning. Fried mushrooms were breaded and cooked well but wish they had a little more taste and flavor to them. This area needed a chicken wing place. We were at my daughters b-ball game down the road and wanted a menu with a good variety and chicken wings were specifically requested. We ordered 4 different kinds of wings; garlic Parmesan, honey teriyaki, jerk and honey mustard. The wings were tasty and my oldest daughter liked her ham and cheese sub. That was the positives about this meal. The food was served as if it was to go with plastic bags tied up with all the styrofoam containers stacked up and not labeled to know who's is who's. They only had one small trash can in the dining room that was overflowing. They could probably get by with the limited trash cans if they were bright enough to ask if the food was for here or to go like every other restaurant. The lighting in the place is way too bright, the playground with no separation from dining room was an especially bad idea. Which brain child thought everyone wants to hear screaming kids while eating a meal? Our meal came with a half gallon of sweet tea and none of the 4 kids with us liked the taste of the tea. This place is setup like a low class, low dollar fast food joint and I will bring up the horrendous lighting again. White plastic and laminate tables with overly bright LED lights. It feels like an interrogation room! Whoever designed the interior of this place should find another occupation. I would drive to DD Peckers in Pineville or Wing King on S. Tryon which are both quite a hike rather than walk back into this poorly managed, poorly designed, low-class Corporate franchise. I think its safe to say that if their many restaurants that are opening in Charlotte are as poorly designed and poorly run as this joint they will not last very long. How's them apples? read more

So, since my first time, I found out that the 1/2 gallon comes with the family packs. But, Chex has continued to deliver! After that visit, I actually ordered a delivery from Sardis, and they said they didn't have a driver available, but called me back to let me know that they did have a driver. I intended to get cash for the tip and forgot once I hit rush hour traffic on Independence, so when he delivered, I didn't have a tip. I apologized and told him I'd bring it to the store. He told me not to worry about it, it was fine. Very gracious. So, on the weekend, I made it to the store with the tip and added a little more. He beamed. I appreciate great service. We moved from Charlotte to Gastonia last year, so, I've now been patronizing the Gastonia location. The service is the same when the young man is on the register. My wife and I were looking for a place to grab dinner during the "snow storm" here in Charlotte, and since no restaurants wanting to stay open or even open for the day we were searching all over for a place to get food. We were driving on Sardis Rd and just so happen to see a group of cars parked out front of Chex and we immediately drove into the parking lot. Walking in, it was very clean and calm. I heard about this place from a "Mom Group" I'm in on Facebook. I decided to come check it out for lunch today. I was expecting a small play area that had limited toys. I was completely wrong! The play area is huge (see photo) and filled with many toys for kids ages 1-10 years old. My 2 y.o. daughter loved it and I was able to eat and let her play at her leisure. It is definitely a better place to play than being outside in the heat!! The food was also pretty good. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, garlic Parmesan wings, and a kids ham and cheese combo. I received a bag of fries which was way more than I expected and real chicken on my sandwich!! I will definitely be returning to this place!! It's a mom's dream. Came here with a friend after hearing about the play area for kids, thinking we would be able to eat while they play but that didn't really workout as they were running through the whole restaurant . It was also filthy my sons socks were black but it's a nice idea. There's a large play area with lots of toys but it definitely needs a good cleaning! But the wings! WOW I love that you can order only flats because neither me or my boyfriend eat drums and they were so crispy and delicious! I haven't visited again but I've ordered take out a bunch of times , the trick is to order sauce on the side so they stay crispy and don't get soggy in transport.
