    Fully loaded dog

Pretty good! I had the "plain Jane" and it hit the spot if you're craving a classic hotdog but a little bit better! For the "chicken waffle dog", loved the adorable corn dog styling but honestly the chicken sausage could do with more flavoring, but over all good. My partner had the "fully loaded" and boy was that worth the price! As you can see in the pic, it lived up to its name and he enjoyed it. Would definitely try more from them !

Delicious sausage burger! The habanero sauce adds a delicious flavor without being too spicy!

Yaaaaas. This food truck is doing it right! Their sausage burger is to die for. It's topped with white cheddar, slaw, and a habanero sauce! So so good! I also tried their chicken and waffle on a stick that is served with fresh strawberries and syrup! They knocked that out of the park as well! Do yourself a favor and give this place a try!

Chicken and waffle, chicken sausage inside a waffle!!!

Yet, Brooks is famous for the chili and the slaw is good. My friend had the smoked sausage sandwich, said it was great. The potato wedge fries are fried crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. This one of my childhood local spots still great food. It is a sandwich shop order at outside window without any real seating but still well worth it

And their recipe for success is pretty simple: fresh, honestly made food served hot, and with a smile. There's no indoor seating (and not much outdoors, for that matter), limited parking, and no booze, but the chili cheeseburger, served in a wax paper wrap and dripping with greasy flavor, is a quintessential Queen City experience. Service was fast and friendly, and you can enjoy your meal at a covered picnic table or (as we did) in your car. I wouldn't say Brooks makes the city's 'best burger' (much less 'the World's,' as the sign claims), but its homemade goodness will remind you of simpler days, when it was a lot easier to find reliably tasty comfort food at a reasonable price. Definitely worth a visit from anywhere in Charlotte.

I didn't do the restaurant week menu but I did get the penguin burger meal. It was a double patty smash burger with truffle fries. The meal was great and tasted delicious... as expected with the name. I like this little gem of a restaurant and would definitely go back for their burgers. The environment is pretty laid back and easy with kids. They have a free game room which was an added bonus. Overall I like the place and recommend if you are searching for a good smash burger.

The servers were also very nice and friendly. However, a few things held the experience back: Atmosphere & Layout: First, don't let the name fool you--it's not actually a drive-in. Walking into the lobby, I was hit with a stale, dank, musty smell, which seemed to be coming from the restrooms located right at the front entrance. The waiting bench was cluttered with high piles of boxes, which didn't make the best first impression, and the hand towel dispenser in the ladies' room was out of order. The Food: I paid $11 for five skinny, dry wings paired with a watery blue cheese dressing. For "jumbo" wings, they were pretty mid. The menu overall feels like it could use an upgrade (Bad Daddy's Burgers right across the street sets a much better benchmark for this type of casual spot burger). The staff and the playlist were fun, but between the lacking atmosphere and disappointing food, it falls right in the middle for me.

They both were tasty. The hot dog was big and juicy and well dressed. They air fry all their traditionally fried. That's probably my only complaint. I prefer fried food to be fried in oil, but that's my preference. We also tried the brisket and pulled chicken (sorry I forgot to take a picture). They were also good. Everything was served hot and fresh. I'm a condiment girl and they have five bbq sauces: Original, Mississippi, Kansas, Memphis, and Sweet and Tangy. We actually liked all of them between the two of us. Here are a few more highlights and reasons for you to stop in and check them out. 1. Plenty of parking including a ramp for accessibility. 2. They have Ax Throwing. It's not traditional axe throwing, they use a screen. They also have other fun games including Tic-Tac-Toe and a Candy Crush like game. It's also affordable. It was $10 per person/hr. We stopped in on a Monday afternoon before 5:00pm. 3. They have a few fun things on their menu including corn nuggets, fried pickles, pineapple upside down cake, and a sampler where you can try a little bit of everything. 4. The staff (Ron and Shawn) was very friendly and thoroughly explained the menu. They also chatted with us since they were not too busy and made sure we had all we needed to enjoy our meal. 5. They have over 20 taps with a variety of beer. They also have beer specials during football season. Stop in and visit Crave for a taste of Carolina and a little family fun.

Ambiance was nice and they did have samples of their popular dishes. I order the brisket Sammy which has sliced brisket, Kansas BBQ sauce, coleslaw and pickles (which i didn't add). Sammy was perfect. Brisket was easy pull apart and they don't skimp on slaw and sauce. Need to return to try more items, but today's choice was a 10/10.
