WSKY is a huge step up from a traditional gaming bar due to its quality of food and overall ambiance. It's clean and modern with great music selection on the weekends. The service is also quick and staff is friendly. We tried a variety of drinks here from wine, sidecar, martini, Manhattan, and an old fashioned. They were all delicious. We've also tried the pretzel bites which were so good. The sauces served are delicious! Finally we've tried the WSKY burger which was the best I've had at a gaming bar. Overall, I'm impressed with WSKY and frequent it often. I will say, it was disappointing that they changed their happy hour offering since their initial open. It used to be 50% off all appetizers and cocktails from 4p-7p daily and they changed it to select items and cocktails. I totally get it due to cost but I do think a new business should start with what they're sure they can withstand as they can always add to it, making it better versus starting too big and taking it away. So this place is like less than half a mile from my home, so right there it is a solid place to go. I mean if it were not an uphill walk and a downhill stagger, I'd probably visit it more often to get my drink on. The whiskey flights are just a tad more expensive than I would have liked and by no means should you be ordering the flights in you want to get nice and drunk. The food is pretty good, above average from places that I have gone to before. The servers are really nice and talkative, which is always fun. The location being in the neighborhood is most excellent, by leaps and bounds that is why it gets the rating that it does. After getting my drink on, i can stagger over to the ice cream shop and wait in their line to consume ice cream and hopefully not vomit everything up as i stagger home. I have taken my girlfriend here a couple of times and also a friend from out of town. It is a nice chill environment where you are not screaming to be heard, nor are you shoulder with the person next to you listening to them complain about how their boss needs to get a better haircut for the amount of money he has. read more

Tried to give this place another chance, I really want to fall in love with it and have it be our "go to" place, but we've been here a half a dozen times, and it's always been terrible service however the food is great. The patio finally opened up after what, a year+ been sitting here on the patio for 25+ minutes and its not very busy at 4pm, no one has so much as looked at us even after serving the other table outside the server did not even glance our way. Thankfully hubby stopped at the bar to get us a cocktail anticipating the service. We keep giving them a chance thinking it will change, don't they call that insanity? So happy this bar and grill finally opened in the Inspirada area! I have to highlight how much I love the variety of items they have on their menu [some whisky inspired of course]. From burgers to salads/salad bowls to pastas and desserts, they've got it all and then some! We went to this location recently for a quick lunch and I was truly impressed with not on the quality of the service we received, but how good their food was as well. We tried the fried cheese curds and nachos first. OMG so tasty! I'd easily order both items again in a heartbeat. Plus the nachos come out on a huge plate and were so large that we couldn't even finish them all. I recommended the nachos for sure if you have a large group and you're trying to find the right appetizer to start with. Now for our lunch entrees I tried the Chicken pesto sandwich and my sister ordered the grilled cheese. Man does this place know how to do sandwiches! The grilled cheese by far was in the top 5 for best grill cheese ever. I cant wait to try it again. Our server was so sweet too and checked on us often. I heard her talking to another table about how they just opened and she's getting in to the swing of things, but from what I can tell she's got her service down pat. Great addition to the Inspirada community! Easy to stop in, pick a seat and choose from Happy Hour starting at 4pm. The drinks have a lot of kick too! Today was our first visit to this new neighborhood Bar & Grill. I had the WSKY Burger which was, without a doubt, the best burger I have had in a long time! OMG, it was good. It had cheese, of course, but also bacon that was cooked, onion rings and a Bourbon sauce. It was the Bourbon sauce that put this over the top; its sweetness was a terrific compliment to the other flavors and textures. My husband had the Sliders and liked them well enough. We both asked for the French Fries to be crispy, not soft and limp. They were crispy and flavorful; neither of us added salt or used catsup. Our waitress Sam was excellent; five stars to her. The other two women who were working were also pleasant and helpful. The kitchen was very slow. When we arrived, there was one old man waiting for his meal and a table of five City of Henderson workers. We ordered. The old man was served his meal which he immediately sent back because he had asked for 'no bun' and it was served to him with the bun. Then, when his waitress checked on his progress, he complained that the meat was burned. She apologized and offered to make him a new beef patty; he declined. She returned a few minutes later and told him that he wasn't being charged for the over-cooked meat. We were beginning to wonder when our food would come out of the kitchen. I even asked my husband if they had to go butcher a cow. Finally, the food for the five City workers arrived. Hubby and I were both shocked that they hadn't been given any food until now; they'd been here when we arrived. About a minute later, our food came out. So I'm not sure why it took the kitchen so long to serve so few customers. Hopefully, that's just growing pains and they'll get quicker as they get more familiar with their new kitchen and as the employees start to function like a team. The table at which we seated ourselves could have been cleaner; it was dusty. One entire wall is glass; floor-to-ceiling wall-to-wall windows. I suspect that there will be times of the day and even months of the year when the sun will be brutal. Right now, there are no window coverings. I don't know if they plan to add window coverings. If not, the dust on the "clean" tables will be even more evident. The video poker machines were not at all friendly. We saw the sign offering 200 points for signing up for their Player's Card but wanted to try out the machines first. Between the two of us, we tried four different machines with no luck at all. I know that the House wins but, if I'm going to play here, I want the machines to "let me play" for a while. Finally, the fifth machine was friendly enough to let hubby play for a little while; not long, but longer than the first four we tried. One of the women tried repeatedly to get us to sign up for Players' Cards but the machines were as cold as ice. I don't see us playing video poker here. Like most of the local sports bars, we'll return for food but won't spend our gaming dollars here. I even joked that they must have removed all of the fours-of-a-kind from their machines. read more

It's a dimly lit bar serving bar food. The servers were friendly, however, especially Jacqueline. As for the food, they do offer an interesting menu selection in addition to the usual suspects. The asparagus soup is what you want. Simply heavenly. Who knew a quality soup would be cooking and served in a sports bar? Yummy. Ample parking. For those checking on their "other", best to drive around the back cuz you won't see that car or truck you are looking for unless you do. Or, your "other" is not very bright parking where they can be seen! I like the fact this is a neighborhood bar. Seems to be geared to the over 35 crowd. I personally don't care how old the customers are, being 74 and pretty myself. I don't like that smoking is allowed in the bar area, however. This forces non-smokers to don gas masks or be seated in the sealed off dining area. Seems bassackwards to me. But for the delicious asparagus soup and friendly servers, I would give this place three stars, not four. read more

Just opened last weekend. Beautiful interior decor with high ceilings and nice touches throughout. Had a business lunch there, but I imagine the patio views at night of the strip and the valley will be very nice. Got some nice mix of food here with some classic standards, as well as some others. As is the nature of the outskirts of Vegas, some construction happening in the area, but the inside is quiet and cool -- should be a great addition to the local scene. read more

Simply stated, this place was okay and underwhelming. Our server was nice enough once she finally decided to be the server and not look 20 minutes for someone else to do it. The name of the joint implies there is going to be an adequate amount of a whiskey selection - don't go just for the whiskey or you'll be disappointed just like we were. I asked for a double pour neat and I did get a healthy double which was nice. Between the service, limited drink menu, this place was a one and done. We didn't plan to order food but you could see the kitchen was struggling to keep up with orders as well. I could see if you lived there the place becoming one of your haunts because it's convenient, but you'd better off going to Distill down the road. read more

If you love whisky and want great bar food, check this place out. They had an extensive array of whisky shown in the middle of the bar area. We came for happy hour (4-7 pm) and we ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and pretzel bites. Each plate was $7. The chicken lettuce wraps were mediocre with little to no flavor - adding the sweet chili sauce to it made the lettuce wrap more flavorful. The two dishes that were great were the T&T burger and pretzel bites. The burger was perfectly cooked to our liking and the pretzel bites were buttery and chewy. Came here with my husband for an early Saturday lunch about 11 AM. Lots of construction still going on in the shopping center area but still plenty of parking. The restaurant was very appealing, stonewalls, exposed duct ceilings , attractive and modern deco style. We were told to seat ourselves even though the entry sign says wait to be seated. The waitress was very friendly however she was the only one serving tables so service was very slow. Only a handful of customers when we arrived and a few more trickled in by the time we left an hour later. Food was delicious and we will return, next time probably for a happy hour and sit outside to enjoy the amazing view. read more

The food here is great. It's supposed to be a nice addition to a neighborhood that only had a PTs and a nasty Rounders. But for the love of God why do they suck at service. I've been here multiple times on non busy nights when I wasn't even asked if I wanted a menu. Or food. Or another drink. I don't mind waiting if it's busy but this is just ignoring customers. And most of the time the staff is socializing. Very chatty with people they know. I also hopes since this was one large room with no isolated dining area, there would be no smoking. Nope. No VEGANS allowed I guess. They had no vegan options for me. My friend, however, was able to order as he's not vegan. He ordered the fish and chips. Unfortunately, he did NOT enjoy his meal as the batter was very doughy and not cooked thoroughly. He was so hungry by the time he got his meal and ate most of it. The only good thing about this place is the customer service. Our waitress was very sweet and was working alone. She was definitely pretty busy. I won't be coming back to this place unless I find that they have better food and vegan food for that matter. I was really hoping to like this place as I live down the street and it would be nice to bring family and friends over when they visit. But that's not gonna happen at this point. Also, I highly suggest you have a few vegan options as there are a lot of vegan customers that could enjoy a meal with family and friends who are not at this place. And being that it's in a nice neighborhood, you may get more customers with this. It's not very hard these days to have vegan options. The buns for the impossible burger are not even vegan. Came here on a Monday with a party of 4. We sat in a booth. There were 5 other people in the restaurant in total sitting at the bar. We only ever saw one employee the entire time we were in. We waited almost 10 minutes before the bartender came to take a order, she returned to the bar and proceeded to make another round of drinks for the people at the bar before finally, ANOTHER 10 minutes later, bringing us 2 diet cokes and 2 waters. Our food took almost 45 minutes to come out. In that time she never checked on us, offered us refills, she didn't communicate about the delay on the food. I had to go to the bar to inquire an ETA, she said it was "almost ready". She then went to the back and started bringing dishes out, when she placed the last dish on the table, she turned to walk away without asking if we needed anything else, causing me to have to get her attention from behind to ask for some condiments and refills on the drinks on the table. Food was mediocre at best, my sandwich came out cold and flavorless, makes me wonder how long it was sitting there in the back. 100% will never come back. read more

It's a clean and nice looking location, but the drinks were extremely overpriced for the quality. We had the cucumber mint lemonade. One was strong and the other was weak. We came during happy hour and the sign said 50% off speciality drinks, but once we ordered the lemonades we were told those don't count. Misleading advertising. When I tried to switch to the moscato, I was told it's not a "house" wine so that doesn't count either. The food was meh. I ordered the Korean Short Ribs and they were two slabs of very fatty meat with a fried rice that tasted similar to the frozen packs you get at Costco. $27 for that. Husband had hot chicken sandwich with fries. He said it was okay but said he would have rather purchased chickfila sandwich for better taste and lower price. I would only recommend this place for a quick drink and appetizer. And check ahead to see which drinks are even applicable for the happy hour. read more
