Ive always seen this place but never been inside and wow! This place is bigger than I expected. They have plenty of seating for small or bigger parties. I was greeted and served by Johnny and he was really nice and gave us his top recommendations on their menu. I ended up being basic and getting the deluxe burger and it was really good. I love their french fries too! I saw they have trivia and kareoke nights which seems fun so I will definitely be back. I mainly will be back because how great the service and food was. This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had. Let me start by saying that I have over 20 years managing restaurants. I went with a group of women. We made a reservation so they were expecting us. We were 15 women and other than the gamblers sitting at the bar, we were the only ones in there. It took over 30 minutes just to get a drink and an hour to get food. My two chicken tacos were the absolute worst tacos I've ever had and they were ICE COLD. Meat needs to be kept warm at a specific temperature. I don't know how they pass their health inspection serving meat at this temperature. I heard every excuse."I was training a server" "there is only one cook" "the food was brought out as soon as it was ready" I guess that would include waiting an hour for cold chicken tacos. I will never come back to this restaurant again. They should be ashamed of themselves. THE ONLY TABLE in the entire restaurant. Thank goodness I didn't eat them. Came here for happy hour. 5 beers in a bucket for $25 and $10 happy hour food. We ordered Chicken fingers, fish sticks, mini nachos and the mini corn dogs. I liked the breading on the chicken and fish. But the fish sticks did taste like they were frozen. And the fries were undercooked which means the steak fries were soggy. The ranch wasn't great either. But the mini nachos were delicious. The bartender was really nice and very attentive. We were the only ones there for the first hour and then a few people came in who looked like regulars. I'm surprised more people weren't here. We came here for a friend's reunion and everything from the staff, to the name of the place, decor, aesthetic etc.. all Hawaii vibes! My husband and I both met/lived in Hawaii so it was nostalgic and nice to hear some live local (Hawaiian) music. They also have karaoke. Their food is mostly pupus (apps). Bar Grill 24/7. Didn't know what to expect when I arrived. But as soon as I walked in... Boom, better than other places I've been to. Very clean, no "dirty drunken" smells. We visited here for a friends going away party! We had never been and were there on a Wednesday night. They had live music going and their menu looked great. We also noticed they had games both indoor and cornhole out on their outdoor patio. Unfortunately, it was too cold to enjoy those but in the spring/summer it would definitely be fun! Sports bar vibes. I walked in for a late dinner. I appreciate that they're open late. There was a live musician playing some reggae and Hawaiian music. I loved seeing the regulars hollering back and forth. I can tell this is a real neighborhood type spot. The service was excellent, very attentive and friendly. Some of the menu items I wanted were unavailable that night but my wings were fried hard and had great crunch. The musubi were hefty and super fresh. I would go back. I go back years to the Shakespeare days and literally from the moment new ownership took over it has been on a steady slide. I have eaten there probably 20 times since the beach House took over. As I sit here writing this, I am outside the restaurant. I am so appalled by my experience today, August 19, 2026. I walked in and every booth and every table in front of the booth had a reserved sign on it. There was one other person in the restaurant. The server came over and told me that they normally like to keep these tables reserved. Keep in mind this is it 1 o'clock in the afternoon and nobody was in there. He handed me a new menu and said things have changed. We have a new menu and all that's available. Is what circled on the new menu and here's our old menu. This is essentially turned into a bad spot for Poke. The service was awful. The bartender made two visits to our table and we were there for an hour and 15 minutes. The haphazard way that they have changed this restaurant/bar is beyond me. I will never step foot in here again. When the bartender told me that the tables were reserved and they like to keep them reserved for customers, I reminded him that I've been coming in there for the better part of 15 years and I've never seen a reserved sign on a table. Please keep in mind that the entire time that we were there not one other person came in other than a delivery person. I'm still wondering who the tables are reserved for. The Poke was fine-- the experience was the worst. I've had there in a series of bad experiences. Save yourself to trouble. read more

I went to this restaurant on Friday, July 3rd. It took quite a long time for our drinks to be served, there were 3 in our party. We decided to order food, my friend ordered nachos and I ordered the chicken Caesar salad wrap. My friends nachos never came, about an 1 1/2 hours later, the waitress came over to me and asked me if I ordered the chicken Caesar salad wrap, I said I did but it never came, then she handed me the plate. Unfortunately, I ended up getting food poisoning the next day and landed in the hospital. I can only imagine how long that food was sitting there while I waited, additionally, I did see her going from table to table asking if they ordered that plate, so I can only imagine how many people were spitting on it while she was asking. Found this place about a year ago and was so happy with Taco Tuesday. But the romance is over. The taco was served on two corn tortillas, now it's one. And the filling is half. Seriously! I'm not exaggerating. Was about a 1/2 cup and now it's about 1/4 cup. The pico and the lettuce were almost non existent. The flavor is still good and it's still $3 each, but I don't want to pay for five tacos when two always filled me up before. Service is always good. read more

Las Vegas Beach House, formerly Shakespeare Bar & Grill. I stopped by for an Islander concert with friends from Hawaii. Great band!!! They have upcoming events called OPEN JAM. I had the Poutine Fries, and it was delicious. The white cheddar cheese curds were delicious. I wish I had read the description clearer (I was too hungry cause I arrived later than my friends due to my Hula class). I was quick to order, and I thought it came with meat. Sigh... We have been waiting for the full menu to come out. Ever since the New Owners took over the Shakespeare location. It has taken a while but it was worth the wait. The vibe is super cool with island music and decor and the floors look like ocean waves swirling about. Johnny, our server was super friendly and efficient. The food was all super good. They have live music on Thursdays and Saturdays and Karaoke on select Fridays. They also host a Rockin' Trivia night on Tuesdays but come early they will pack the place! After almost a year, I let some friends talk me into giving The Beach House another try. I don't know how they could have gotten worse, but somehow they did. The waitress brought us menus and then proceeded to tell us that half of the things listed, they don't serve any more. A couple of the things that they do serve, they were out of. The only options were basically a burger or a (disgustingly bad) pulled pork sandwich. They were even out of Diet Pepsi. Again, it took almost 40 minutes to get our food. While waiting, we went through two glasses of iced tea, only to have the waitress then tell us that after one refill she would have to charge us for another drink (ICED TEA!!). When the bill came there was an automatic 18% gratuity added (we were a party of four), and an additional 4% surcharge if you paid by credit card. I will not be returning. read more

The chicken tenders are huge and crispy delicious, add the fries and you are golden The sliders (chicken or beef) are just right to split or if you are really hungry make sure you order the xtra crispy fries on the side. I came for trivia night and stayed for the bartender! She was bubbly, fast, and somehow kept her cool while a full crowd yelled wrong answers like their rent depended on it.
